Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. Not much to report on the Bubble Runtz, , she popped above soil on day 3 and is now on day 7 and is working on her 2nd set of true leaves. I started prepping the Coco Coir by flushing down to .4 EC and then soaking in water with an EC of 2.0 with Cal Mag and a PH of 6.8. I will let it soak until the seedlings are ready to be transplanted hopefully by next weekend or shortly thereafter. The weather in my region is perfect for cultivating seedlings as it is fairly hot and humid and I only have the Spectrum X running at 30% so it is not putting out much heat and I also have a humidifier running in the tent on low which is maintaining a RH of around 68%. I do have the AC Infinity fan kick on here and there just to keep some fresh air in the tent but no real issues with heat. This is my first run with Tastebudz genetics and super excited to try a cross of Bubble Gum and Runtz. I plan to build a mainline and flip as soon as all 5 mainlines are built, hopefully around week 7. This Medic Grow light is perfect for a 5X5, and the AC Infinity 8" exhaust does an excellent job of keeping the tent cool. I will set up an auto feeding system which consists of a reservoir, and some 1/2" tubing that is hooked to a submersible pump in the reservoir and set to feed for 1 minute every 6 hours through halo feeders connected to ball valves to adjust the flow. The runoff then flows via gravity to a 5 gallon bucket in the tent with a shallow pan condensate pump that pumps the runoff out of the tent when it gets above 3 inches to another reservoir. I have been growing fruit and vegetables for over 40 years and I have recently switched to high frequency fertigation in Coco Coir for my tomatoes as well, as I believe this growth medium combined with this technique is the safest, most environment friendly, and foolproof method of getting monster yields no matter what crop you are growing, and I have seen massive results in both cannabis and tomatoes. Week 4 update - had to list it as a flower week as we flipped em half way through. Exotic wasn’t lying - the spicy bitches hit maturity rather quickly and we now have a guaranteed 2 males and 3 females - perfect ratio score👌👍. Balls started showing in a span of 12-36 hours. One of the females entered flower early so she may be a dud, an auto or just stressed for some unusual reason. We’ll probably either separate er or let it grow with the rest and pitch it. Won’t be using that seed knowing that underlying issue. Similarly, one of the males has also demonstrated some fan leaf mutation - I actually like this kind of variation and it makes things interesting so bonus there👍. The rest of em are doing just fine. So god damned nice to have a run that’s on a quick schedule to finish within 3 months. It’s been a long year for the pollen chuck and we’re really looking forward to the upcoming all fem. Run. For now though - conditions look ripe for a bunch of awesome crosses, any one of which could be pure 🔥. Till next week yall🤟. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. Many thanks to @Exoticseeds for the chance to give these beans a go👍👊. Pollination Strains: Holy Surfer S1 - this is one of the focal points for this cycle. A fellow growmie was kind enough to ship over some S1 genetics I took an interest in. The only ask back was that if I did cross it to send a few his way for testing👍. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

Harvested the Clones! I'm stoked how #4 grew out, I think she's the winner! With limited space in my grow, I'm only going to be able to bloom out the rest of the phenos clones to week 3-4.. The show must go on.. It's the price I must pay for using non-ideal cloning methods... Next round of phenohunting will have 100% cloning success, using my new aeroponics cloning machine.

Last week we noticed one of the ladies had begun to show sex. A couple calyxes with barely visible white hairs coming out of them. Seeing as there's no electricity where the garden is located we opted for a 1500 lumen LED lantern, that we turn on at 11:pm every night for about 40 minutes to and hour. This seemed to have done the trick as no more hairs have been seen and the vegging process is back on track.

A great week for her! Guarded by one of my cold blooded friends while I was away! I flushed her with water (PH 6) before I left her to her last few days under the bulb 💡😎 Was pleasantly surprised to see her complete upon my return so I have placed her in darkness for 48 hours before the Chop! I really want to thank all those that have helped me along the way with this one, it’s been very simple bar some toxicity issues at the beginning (all my fault 🙃) but it just goes to show with the right attention and attitude you can turn it around! I will be for sure doing another RQS northern, next time a 10 Gal container and more microbiology attention 🤓 what an absolute beauty she is. The fragrance is a mixture of pine and fruits, it’s really refreshing, the plant itself is sticky ICKY! 😍 See you all in the next few days once she’s been cut/weighed and hung! ✌️👊👍😎

FD15 - Today was the start of the third week of flowering. I gave #1 2.5-liters of water @ pH 6.1. FD18 - I gave #2 2-liters of water @ pH 6.6.

I mean this genetics it's excellent ... if I would grow zombie kush again ... good job ripper seed ... she fought and was very strong against the plagues after a beginning outdoors ... she fought against the white fly. worms .. red spider and other insects ... and deserves your recognition ... it will not be the most beautiful plant with its leaves impeccable ... but she is a champion ... thank you ripper seed .. .

Rolling into week 9 of veg... Flower substrate mixed and loaded. Charged with PLAGRON/Great White Solution. Time for those roots to stretch and fill. Going to veg until she almost fill up the 2x2. Added more clovers to regulate and fix nitrogen.

Eccoci ragazzi siamo a più della metà di fioritura.. Purtroppo poca resina, ma le cime sono belle compatte e dure, non c'è molto aroma nella aria, speriamo che migliori nelle prossime settimane, purtroppo ho fatto qualche errore forse con questa ragazza, ho dato troppi nutrienti e troppo poco calcio e magnesio.. Staremo a vedere come procede e cosa ne esce fuori, come struttura è davvero una pianta imponente, praticamente l ho solo stoppata due volte e per il resto l ho lasciata crescere nel modo più naturale possibile, senza defogliare o togliere rami, infatti è diventata un mostro come grandezza, ma purtroppo per ora c'è poca sostanza di quello che mi interessa veramente è avere tanta resina.. Speriamo continui ad ingrossarsi, provvederò a mettere dei sostegni, anche se penso che non ne abbia bisogno dato che la struttura ad albero di Natale, sembra bella solida.. Grazie ad anesia seeds che ha reso possibile tutto ciò, hanno delle genetiche grandiose! Still going strong in flower! We are at the 6 week mark. The smells are very good when I pull off the lower bud sites. Can’t even describe it yet. I wanna say a rich fruit like smell. I can’t stop smelling my hands. Both flowers uniqueness can be seen and smelled. Aiming to begin flushing within 10 days.

The party's almost over, the girls have gotten some great volume again. Now it's just a flawless finish. I think the Mimozz can come out by the end of next week. The Bogota will stay in after that.

Well, my princesses are florin😀👏👏I started to add 2 ml of bio-bloom💪💪Two of them have reached 20 cm, the other two are at 18 cm😅 I have uploaded the led 5 cm to see if they climb a little more👆👆🙏 Irrigation 200ml/plant😄 How do you see it?😜👍 Well, well👏🏻👏🏻 Today add sugar royal 2 ml/l and I have also added micro vita 0.5gr/l but only once more😬 Today I have placed the mesh👏🏼👏🏼😄 I have lowered the lamp 5 cm🙂

It’s day 27 from seed for all the plants in the photo sea of green. Let’s call it the battle of the strains summer 2025. All of the plants are starting to have visible differences. I’m already starting to tell witch plants are more sensitive than others.
