Got hydro halos setup because I need to be able to go away for work for a few nights, Was actually really easy to setup and works awesome, I got most the parts plus all my nutes from my local hydro store. I'm using cocoforcannabis.com as a guide for most of this grow and his site includes details on how to setup an auto watering system. At this point I'm still using Professors Go Green for cal-mag and following the GP3 feed chart to mix nutes to the right ratio and then diluting with cal-mag water to target EC (300-400EC for wk 1). Some of the plants had clawing leaves and were really dark green - I read that this could be caused by nitrogen toxicity and I'm concerned this may be due to the Go Green as it seems to be intended as more of a deficiency fix rather than a regular use cal-mag supplement for coco. Some of the leaves on one of the plants started getting rust spots like calcium deficiency, Canna Coco comes pre-buffered and I was adding Go Green so it had plenty, I think the likely case is that nitrogen toxicity may be blocking calcium intake also. I intend to change to Green Planets Pro-Cal which has low nitrogen and is made to work with their line of nutes. Also we named the girls! My roommate and I were pretty baked if you can't tell...

Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. Grow Diary – Week 7, Day 2 of Flowering Buds are stacking thick and frosty, and the tent is getting louder by the day. Trichomes are popping and the top colas are starting to bulk up nicely. Noticed she’s looking a little heavy on the nitrogen — darker leaves and slight clawing — so I’m dialing my A & B down a bit on the next feed. Still holding pH at 5.8 and PPMs just under 1000. Lower sites are getting more light now after daily tucking and some selective leaf removal. Airflow’s solid, RH around 60%. No signs of mold, just sticky, stanky progress. Finish line’s coming. Let’s ride.

Today, after 78 days for the lemon kix auto and the Young Pinapple Express, and after 145 days for the old rescued Pinapple Express, I turned off the light. 48h blackout for the 3 girls. Harvest on saturday.

Ultimately I want to go full organic but time is life's richest commodity, so it will probably be a few seasons before I get their. Also I don't have a drying setup which is a problem for this next run which is in week-1 rn (I go week one staring veg in my calendar). For drying / curing, I'm looking at fitting out a second hand wine fridge as I cant spend heavy on the Cure Puck or any of those auto fridge setups. Who knows maybe they come down in price. 2/29 - 3/7: Thing started to shoot off very quickly, took the first batch of nutrients very very well so Im sticking around with the same thing for a little bit longer until shes big enough to where I think I can up it a little bit.

Update week 3 veg

This week the plant almost doubled in size, i must add that we had very nice weather and stable temperatures, shes getting sunlight from around 7AM to around 15PM-16PM and after that just daylight, i dont think i can harvest before the competition ends so bad luck, but its still great to grow this strain, cant wait to see her full of buds, hopefully they get fatter than my last balcony grow, but of course i had some bad weather with my last balcony grows also this one is in a much bigger pot which i really notice 👌😀 22 august: nothing 23 august: nothing 24 august: water 25 august: nothing 26 august: nothing 27 august: water 28 august: nothing

Well, I've been comparing this with similar strains, untill now, i think she sugar kush is less profitable when using LST, but it works good, and the plant is nice and low

My Soaptini plant is still on the smaller side, but it's finally starting to take off. I think it's going to stay pretty short and stocky, which will be interesting to see. It's been a challenging week with the constant rain and ridiculously high humidity. Keeping things dry indoors has been a real struggle. Despite the weather, I managed to flip all my feminized photoperiod plants to flower this week. I'm hoping the switch will go smoothly, but with this humidity, it's going to be tough.
