Buds are starting to thicken up and get nice healthy looking trichomes. Plant #2 was under a light that did not have the full spectrum setting on. I didn't realize that and now see that it's development is lagging plant #1. We'll see how this affects harvest, but I'm hoping that the timing will still work out.

Great week one didn’t pop so I dropped another sourgirl and waiting on my O2 machine

They’re all doing amazing. Caramelino smells like a super sweet, floral fruit. The White Widow in the corner is stacking up with white flowers all the way up the main stems.

TRANSITION DAY 10: This lady is my latest favourite. She is progressing amazingly under the new lights and has now started to flower properly. she has been putting her first bract pistils out since day 5 of flip. This is the fastest i have seen this occur with my grows. She has fought back from the stripping ,prior to flip, and her regrowth is virile and very strong looking. I think she will be in my top 10 of strains to grow. Her response to the quadline style has been excellent and i dont think it has slowed her down at all. She is stretching well and will hopefully be setting herself up for long thick colas. I need to strip out all the lower small bits of growth and maybe a few hopeful mains. her size has limited her possibilities with the space i have i think. I am going to be spacing my girls out a little more and trusting the lights will still give me adequate coverage to the canopies edge. We will see. lol All in all i am enjoying working with this strain so far and imagine a future grow to include a few more. She's a stinky girl. Canopy is holding fairly uniform to this point still. Moved to floor, no booster seat anymore. She's a quick, 21-28 days is my guess.

31/07/23 Everything seems to be going really well even though I haven't added nutriments. I'm planning to use LST on plants 2, 3, and 4 this week, hoping not to mess anything up. I'll have to buy a dehumidifier too because it's very humid at my place right now, and I can't get the humidity level below 65% 01/08/23 I started the LST but only on 2 and 3, and I have no idea if I did it well, but I'm quite happy with the result. 02/08/2023 I have cut some leaves, especially on numbers 2 and 3, so that the little heads are no longer in the shade but directly in the light and I haven't touched number 1, I don't plan to touch it until the end.

Man, that Skunk Apple runtz plant is giving me some trouble. It's still really small and hasn't grown much at all. I think I might've messed up a little because the leaves are looking kinda rough. Hopefully it can bounce back. Well, it's Christmas again. This year feels a little different, though. Maybe it's the snow blanketing everything, or the way the tree lights up the whole living room. Either way, it's cozy and warm, even when it's freezing outside. I'm really looking forward to seeing what Santa brings. I hope I get that new video game I've been wanting. But most of all, I can't wait to spend time with my family. We always have so much fun This past week was a good one for the plants. They started the first week of their stretch, and they've already grown a decent amount. I can really see them filling out. It's cool to watch them grow so fast. I can't wait to see how big they get by the end I always get a little worried at this stage, like they're not gonna get as big as I want them to. But then I remember how they always end up surprising me. By the end, they're always perfect.

----- WEEK 9 ----- ----- Day 57 ----- Easy day of watching. Just 1 pic today so far. not much reason to go downstairs to take a pic yet. Glookies is turning Purple on sugar and fan leaves now. Harvest is very soon. I'd wager within 7 days now just going to depend on the High I get off tester nugs. ***Update*** I destroyed the trellis and took em out for some pics and vids. Trichs = Tropicana is ready Tuesday, Wedding Cake probably Friday or within that weekend. ----- Day 58 ----- Last couple days. Fed about 30ml of Cal/Mag and 30ml of Molasses. Wanted to just keep the photosynthesis process and the plant in general alive for reveg. Was getting a bit too yellow for my liking. Harvest soon. ----- Day 59 ----- Harvested Tropicanna Glookies today Deleted this week by accident trying to make it a harvest week, so remade it. Will add harvest week once plants are dry and tester has been smoked to give proper info Put some more photos in. Basically the tent is 4 feet wide and the ruler is 12 inches long from bottom of duct tape Really loving the colors of this plant. ------ Day 60 ----- Fed only the Wedding Cake - 5-10ml of Calimagic and 20ml of molasses (NO Liter level marked or PPM or PH, i could cut today its done but im just maturing the trichs) Tropicanna Glookies is a friggin BEAUTIFUL strain. Moved the Wedding Cake in the tent so largest nugs are furthest away from light and dropped light from 1000w to 600w to save electricity Chop on Wedding Cake happens at mostly amber trichs. Prob 5-6 days max for that i'll know when I check trichs tonight and update with photo. ----- Day 61 ----- Wedding Cake is about 5% amber... so prob 6 days or so. Slow day today. ----- Day 62 ----- Feeding is today, going to just use some CaliMagic and Molasses again. Trichs aren't golden yet, so not chop time ... 8-9 weeks is what it is supposed to take, but it's got at least another 5-8+ days until 30-40% amber trichs for Indica couch-lock effect to shine in the Wedding Cake. Tropicanna could still be going right now, but I did not want more than 5-10% amber gold trichs to prevent a couch-lock effect. This has worked very well. On day 64 I will post a smoke report and full harvest/trim details as Saturday/Sunday is trimming. Will have dry weight results of Tropicanna (per plant, and as a whole). Tropicanna being sent to lab for full analysis will post results when they arrive (Usually 2-3 weeks after sending sample via mail) ------ Day 63 ------ Nothing to talk about today, slow day. almost done. *Update* 1 pic, i think it explains everything.

Weekly update. Sorry it was a late update this week I was out of town (Bizcon2024). Wow have they grown, I'd say doubling in size. I've upped the watering to 1000ml daily, this week I'll do a major defoliation and lollipoping. All in all Happy Growing

So yeah just grow an auto. It takes the same amount of time but you get a much greater yield/quality of bud. Oh yeah... dont buy from msnl... horrible customer service, I have never had a problem germinating seeds until I ordered from them. I couldn't germ 10 ww I bought from them and when I contacted them they were more then useless trying to get a refund or more seeds. I will never buy from them again. Besides that I would like to see a good diary of how a non 12-12 of this strain would go. I'm glad for it to finally be over but am excited to start another grow soon. seeds: Montel Iced Tea, Body Count, Bubbles Blueberry F4, Ricky’s Hash Plant, Black Tangi Tea → standouts / "otherworldly" These are clearly your current stars — better structure, resin, and overall quality than most of the others you've tried. Auto Flowers: Humboldt Seed Company — best autos you've grown. Extremely resinous, especially the OG Triploid. Top tier for autos. Fast Buds — very close second. Super fast, nice flavors, reliable. You like them a lot but note they're in a different class (not fair to directly compare to Humboldt). Why RQS Strains Underperformed The 7/10 rating and "needed a lot of power to switch to flower" comment is classic for some RQS genetics, especially certain autos or hybrids. Possible reasons: Genetics: Some RQS lines are finicky about light schedules or have slower/more reluctant flowering responses. Mike Tyson 2.0 and Corkscrew apparently needed the 12/12 flip to finally push. Light/Environment: With five tents running, light penetration, spectrum, or intensity might not have been ideal for these particular strains. Autos can be sensitive to stress during the transition. Nutrient response: They may have needed more phosphorus/potassium or different ratios to bulk up properly. The fact that you had to force Corkscrew into 12/12 at week 20 and it's now only "OK" suggests it was a slower or lower-yielding pheno for your conditions. Strong Performers Brothers Grimm → These sound like the real winners in your tent right now. Brothers Grimm has a reputation for unique, high-quality landrace-influenced genetics with excellent resin and flavor profiles. "Otherworldly better" is high praise — they clearly thrive in your setup. Humboldt Seed Company autos → Excellent choice for resin production. OG Triploid is a standout for trichome density. Fast Buds → Reliable, fast, flavorful — a safe, consistent auto line. Recommendations Going Forward Double down on what works: Keep running more Brothers Grimm (especially the ones you loved). Stick with Humboldt for autos when you want maximum resin. Fast Buds for speed and flavor. 3/30 4am Pink Kush CBD is SLOW.... she never really recovered from early problems, I LOVE this strain, smoke and smell are 10/10.
