Both my plants are growing quite nicely. They're both getting a few more leaves and getting bigger by the day. Trying out a drip irrigation system for a week or so, see how that goes.

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

Added 2 videos on preparing a nutrient solution and pH balancing the solution. This week saw aggressive topping (mid week 4) and some serious leaf damage. Not sure if the leaf damage is from the topping, nutrients, etc. I did a flush and solution swap, cleaned the air stone and inside of the jar etc. Built the trellis and started training. I'll cut away whatever trellis doesn't end up getting used once flowering starts. Creepy Don Santa is watching this grow closely. That cat of his is trouble.

Yo yo yo what's up growmies?! So quick update... plants are doing okay but this week we lost a light... RIP Phlizon Pro 2000, but thankfully I was able to get the mars hydro up and the girls are loving it right now. I'll update next week about the lights.

Start of week 3 blueberry is flowering and the stretch is almost over. The seedlings are growing nicely.the box got up to 100f this week during mini heat wave had to put ice blocks in rez to lower temp down from 80f. I look forward to the 3 other new strains I’m running. My GSC seedling is looking a little pale I should have waited longer to change rez over to bloom nutes. I have top dressed some organic fertilizer near drip line of nutes 4-6-4 one month release. I applied to all seedlings except blueberry. I reduced blumat on gsc, ww, and ch until surface dried a little bit as my gsc was showing signs of overwatering. Gsc is starting to green back up. My bb had to nanners i plucked them I hope these are all. It could be from the high temps or the one night I had a light leak. BB larger plant receving 1000 ppfd.i turn light back down a notch Gsc leaves started cupping now she’s getting just 550 along with other seedlings.will continue to monitor for improvement and ramp lights up a little later if needed as plants should grow into light.

Timing seems about right. The current flowering plants are finishing so these will be in flower within two weeks. From all that I've learned this grow (being my first DWC), I plan on carrying on with a combination of organics and synthetics. Along with GHE products below, I'll be using the organics right along side. Mainly for the microbes and fungi. I plan on keeping my water about 1-2" below the basket with heavier pumps. Will be using the EcoPlus Eco Air 4 Four Outlet air pump divided into 2 buckets/2 air stones and using the 2 Marina 200 Air pumps for clones. That will more than double the airflow to the roots. When I change the res and even when I transfer over to the larger flower DWC bucket (3 gal - 5 gal) I'll be keeping a litre of the veg solution to add to the fresh new res, thus 'inoculating' it with the already stable microbial and fungal environment that it's been used to. As well, I'll continue with Hygrozyme on a 'maintenance' dosage when changing the res and adding a liter of the microbial and fungal tea listed below as well as a dose of Tarantula from Advanced Nutrients. Adding organic Alaskan veg and bloom fertilizer (some 'Fulvic acid' as well, like seaweed liquid. Plants uptake Fulvic better than Humic. Root fungi eat the Humic and poop out Fulvic!) in 'moderation' to help bring PH back down and feed microbes and fungi. Once the plants start really stacking, I'll add more synthetics to compensate and to lower PH. The organics can really mess with the EC so I'm not going to be freaking about high levels. Found that it didn't effect the plants health that much if at all. Pero lo que realmente la distingue sigue siendo su morpho swag, esas hojas anómalas que ahora también brillan con resina, aportando una estética muy particular al conjunto. El plan nutricional con XpertNutrients se mantiene, ajustado con precisión para evitar excesos. La planta sigue respondiendo sin quejarse, asimilando bien y mostrando una evolución saludable. Los riegos están afinados al detalle, permitiendo una buena oxigenación del sustrato y evitando encharcamientos innecesarios. La luz de los Adlite continúa haciendo un trabajo excelente. Gracias a su estructura abierta, esta Swag está recibiendo luz incluso en las zonas más profundas, lo que se traduce en un desarrollo parejo y en cogollos internos que no se quedan atrás. El clima del cultivo sigue estable: temperaturas entre 22 y 25 °C, con humedad controlada cerca del 55%. 12/29/21 - Welcome to Week 6! We are almost there. The plants are really showing off colors of yellow, orange and purple. The buds are getting larger and more dense. We fed the plants with the nutrients listed above. 12/30/21 - We are on track for a good harvest. Today is Day 44. We think it’ll be within the 55-60 day mark for harvest. We are just about ready to flush and use regular water for awhile. The buds are huge and very dense. Check out todays video! 12/31/21 - Wow… So frosty and dense! We are excited for harvest. So far so good! We have lots of purple buds. Happy New Years Eve. 1/1/22 - Happy New Year! They are looking really good this year ;) We are done with nutrients and we are going to water with phed water only. We might run Sledgehammer once or twice to get more of a flush. 1/2/22 - Day 47! The plants are on track. We are getting some massive tops with big chunks of purple on the buds. Such beautiful plants! 1/3/22 - We are loving the colors! We have a few weeks left. Harvest time is coming quick and we are getting everything ready for it. We are going to use an iPower bowl trimmer and toss all the popcorn in the bowl to be used for scented topicals. 1/4/22 - Looking really good today. We are just watering with plain water and the buds are like rocks. We have a ton of work ahead of us lol. It’ll be worth it!

Very beautiful and with a very pleasant, sweet smell, difficult to say about. Getting fatter and growing the buds more and more. Starting to increase the resin, getting whiter.

Treated the girls to a new grow light Friday, the ACInfinity EVO4. Set at 18" and 60% to start. So far so good, but OC looked a little droopy Saturday morning. Raised light to about 19" while I had my coffee. Fed them both 3 litres of water with 2ml per litre of Remo veg schedule Friday evening and topped OC to help keep canopy even. For the second time I had little to no runoff, even after increasing the water by 1 litre. More next time I guess. My original plan was to flip to 12-12 when the lights come on tonight, but I think I'll give them a few days under this new light to get their groove on and raise the power of the light by 10 each day and drop it a little closer to the 18 " AC Infinity recommends until I'm at 100% and 18" then prune and flip. I think I've got room to stretch. Plants are at 11-12" tall from the Promix, so I can definitely let them veg for another week. Raised the light back to 24 inches after my coffee, still at 60%. Saturday morning I fed about a litre of straight RO water to both and Saturday night I cleaned up a dozen or so fan leaves that were shading bud sites. Sunday OC still looks a little droopy, but much better. Sunday morning lowered light to 22" and powered at 70% with a 1 hour sunset sunrise. Fed them Monday night until runoff and took 6 litres at 2ml/l about a litre and a half came back out. Next time I'll give them 5 litres. Been trying to dial in this new light, plus I've went down the light meter rabbit hole on YouTube.....so according to Photone everything seems to be in check with the light at 70% at 24". AC infinity must have a more light tolerant stain in their test labs because full power at 18" would have my girls chicken fried in no time. Tuesday morning they both looked great, temps and humidity and light and nutes all seem to be pulling in the same direction. Plants are about 12&13 inches tall Likely flip them Thursday evening 😁😨😰 Wednesday morning gave them a small haircut of some leaves blocking budsites, and a bit of plant yoga bendiness and gentle restraints to let the light into the heart of the plants. So on page to flip tomorrow evening. Light is averaging 700 micromoles per second.

Sunday, January 17 Fed 1/2ga to one plant and 3/4ga to the other two. 7tsp of Grow Big and 2.5tsp of Bud Candy mixed in 2ga of water @6.4pH. Plants continuing to stretch, fed Grow Big to try and add some nitrogen. Thursday, January 21 Fed about 3/4ga to each plant. At a ratio of 2 teaspoon per gallon of Bud Candyat 6.4 pH. Saturday, January 22 Fed plants 3/4 ga @6.3pH 2tsp/ga of Bud Candy. I did a defoliation of all 3 plants and decided to flip to a 12/12 light schedule to see if I can trigger blooming. I began last night and I will continue to do so and hopefully see results sometime soon. I’ve looked up the issues of auto flowers not flowering and being “stuck” in the process. I did these two techniques(defoliation and light schedule)to try and trigger flowering. Hopefully we’ll see some results🙏 As always, stay safe and happy growing💚✌️🌱

the little one is rising quickly this week, I think it will last another week, a week and a half at most, before dedicating itself to full flowering. the seedling entered the pre-flowering phase a few days ago (2/3 days ago)

What’s up y’all!!?? Week 9 got me getting antsy I can’t lie. The trichomes are very milky white. The leaves are turning a deep green and a few of them even turning purple. This grow is in a tent with a photoperiod which has just began flowering. For that reason the light cycle is 12/12 which isn’t ideal but I gotta work with what I have. I’m not expecting a crazy amount out of this grow because of the light cycle change but I think it’s doing well for the circumstances. I’m expecting a 12 maybe even 13 week finishing on this plant. The light cycle it’s on does slowdown the flowering stage just a bit. I have some lower branches which have popcorn nuggets. It’s not much so I’m not going to worry about cutting them. Especially not this late in the flowering stage. I find myself watering / feeding every other day. Maybe every 2 days.
