🌸 OG Lemonade - Week 2 of Flowering 🌸 She’s officially in bloom! The first flowers are forming, and everything is going smoothly so far. Her structure is quite unique - she looks almost like a bonsai tree. Short and compact, but with huge leaves that make her stand out from the rest. This week, I gave her a low-EC watering to control nutrient levels since she’s looking very deep green. I prefer to see some lower leaves starting to fade—it reassures me that nutrient uptake is balanced. What really surprised me is the size difference compared to the other plants in the tent - most of them are twice her height! Gave her a cocktail to help with stress. Added 1st net for lateral support, not so much now, but for later. Blue light is absorbed by photoreceptor proteins called phototropins, which trigger a hormonal response that causes cells on the shaded side to elongate, making the plant bend toward the light. Try and fill this side a little. She is quite big already, just needs to find her stride again after the undue torture. The mind is constantly working and producing, just like a factory. It's not just a passive recipient of information but an active producer of ideas, attitudes, and beliefs. The "ingredients" in this factory are the information you consume, such as books, conversations, and the media you engage with. The "products" are your thoughts, beliefs, and actions. Plants can respond to UV stress by increasing the synthesis of xanthophyll cycle pigments, such as violaxanthin and zeaxanthin, to improve their photoprotective capacity. UV-induced changes in xanthophyll cycle pigments can be linked to a plant's overall tolerance to high radiation stress. The xanthophyll cycle helps protect against photoinhibition, which is especially important when the plant is exposed to high levels of both UV and visible light. High doses of UV radiation can directly damage photosynthetic components, including the proteins, lipids, and pigments in the thylakoid membranes. Exposure to UV radiation can have a mixed effect on the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) of the xanthophyll cycle pigments. In some cases, UV can inhibit the conversion of violaxanthin to zeaxanthin, resulting in a lower DEPS ratio and a reduced capacity for energy dissipation. However, the total pool of xanthophyll cycle pigments may increase, and this enhanced pool size could provide a greater potential for photoprotection despite a lower DEPS ratio. The xanthophyll cycle works alongside other mechanisms, such as the accumulation of flavonoids (UV screens), to protect the plant from UV-induced damage. Blue light repairs 100% UV-induced damage in plants through a process called photoreactivation, which uses a light-dependent enzyme called photolyase. This enzyme uses energy from blue and UV-A light to directly reverse the damaging pyrimidine dimers in the DNA caused by UV-B radiation, a key mechanism for maintaining the plant's genetic integrity. After carbon, light, water, temperature, and nutrients, the limiting factor of a plant's growth is often its own internal factors or the amount of a key ingredient. Chlorophyll concentration is one such factor, as the amount of this pigment limits how much light can be captured for photosynthesis. The plant may increase leaf thickness or deposit more cuticular wax, creating a physical barrier to the radiation. The plant will produce more enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants to neutralize the reactive oxygen species (ROS) produced by the UV-B radiation. The plant activates enzymes, including photolyases, to repair DNA damage caused by the UV-B. These repair mechanisms are critical for preventing permanent genetic mutations. While protective measures are activated, a high dose delivered over a short period can cause stress that overwhelms the plant's defenses. Photosynthesis is highly sensitive to UV-B. A high dose can inactivate Photosystem II (PSII), damage thylakoid membranes within the chloroplasts, and reduce chlorophyll content, which lowers the plant's overall photosynthetic capacity. Despite repair mechanisms, high UV-B doses can inflict persistent damage on the plant's DNA. The overproduction of reactive oxygen species can cause oxidative stress, leading to the oxidation of lipids and proteins and disrupting cellular function. I am playing in the enchanted forest. Been on the straight water halfway through the week going to be keeping a close eye on them in order to time a 2 day darkness period and I would like them to be close to dry at the roots also so it's all watchy and trying to balance and time things together. One thing is for certain tho some of the buds smell like lemon cleaning products! Crazy. Should be Harvest before next week so I might pop on with some decent pictures if I can get any. Will reupdate once dried also.

Week 3 veg... I’m letting them adjust to the new spectrum and intensity without the stress of being blasted too soon. ​The One-Week Buffer: I'm giving them a solid week to find their legs, find their rhythm, and start reaching for that light. ​I’m not sweating the current look these girls have absolute beast genetics, If any plants can bounce back and explode, it’s these ones. Hello, Day 29 of flower today. She is packing on some trichomes since 2-3 days and it’s getting more everyday. Buds are growing and starting to look like they should. The smell is not that strong but if you walk by the opened window you smell that there is a weed plant somewhere near. The trichomes are sticky and the smell is hyping me up like crazy. Weight was okay today, I will water again tomorrow with 6-7 Liters without added nutrients. Some bottom leaves are starting to get a yellowish colour which kinda concerns me, but I’m far away from panicking. Estimated flower time are 50-60. my light is running on 85% which is 225W / 35cm distance to the canopy. I added those extra 5% power yesterday and we will see if she likes it. Maybe I will buy additional phosphor booster, but I have to gather some information first. I the next couple days I will also get a hygrometer to check my humidity. I can’t change it but I think it’s good to know for the next grow. The temperature is measured via an infrared thermometer, leaf temp was 18°C night and 23°C day temp. 16.02 First day of the fourth week of flower. Defoliated a little bit again. This time around I’m picking smaller amounts of leaves every day in comparison to one major defoliation on one day. Also I ve added pk booster at 100 ppm.( 0.2 ec) will gradually raise it over the next weeks. Lowering the base nutrients. I think they finally stopped the stretch and they are barely fitting in the tent. I ve added some swirski ulti mite . Predatory mites as prophylactic measure for thrips. I’ve noticed some tiny damage on a couple of leaves. And a couple of larvae.

Great little strain Growing well nothing to complain about it’s up there with my top growers out of 25 plants it’s up there what’s the top five strongest so happy about that should be a good little plant I went ahead and topped this plant I like to top my plants early or at the third node I get good plant structure and it ends up being a nice bushy plant if u look at my other grows you will see my grow technique I do a lot of topping and a bit of LST and some HST tying down branches and stuff like that till I get that nice round plant look it all start here at the first topping to get the bushy look

Esta semana tome la decisión de cortar una planta anticipadamente, obviamente la más avanzada y madura de todas (la de las fotos con flash), para poder llenar la despensa, obviamente se guardó el peso para añadirlo al peso final. Se quitó la malla y se hizo defoliación para terminar el engorde, quedando solo 3 plantas al menos 1 semana o dos a que terminen de dar lo que tienen que engordar, ya veremos 👍

Hello Growmies, The ladies are doing good. Still drinking 5 liters a day. Stopped giving Nitrogen this week bc PH kept falling to 4,2 plus they are kind of dark green (Tropicanna Banana for shure) so I cut N out and gave more PK 13/14 for bud development. Outside temps are still in my favor so I still got that cold dry air in my apartment. Hope that lasts for the next 3 weeks. Not running in any major problems.

La Spider Farmer SF2000 continua a tenere a far crescere le ragazze con un ottima luce e spero di riuscire a vedere qualche colorazione tra non molto…la maggior parte dei problemi nella coltivazione della Cannabis deriva da un terreno poco drenante e da troppa 🚿 acqua quando le diamo da bere…bisogna sempre ricordarsi di alzare i vasi e vedere quanto pesano e se c’è bisogno, smuovere la terra un po’ con le mani attorno alla pianta

Our Purple Urkle is a great strain, you can see it from the beginning, it is super voracious of fertilizers, always large sun leaves and I have three specimens all super in the photos, for now, see only the one worked with the topping x16 brunches. It is one of those plants that is doing well, I would already promote it but to avoid the risk of speaking too soon, let's see what grass it will give us. We have done our best, Zamnesia has put superb genetics and at B&B we are working to show you the plants in all their possible meanings. This plant like all the other photoperiodic ones has been worked with a topping x16 buds, simply repeating the topping technique without doing anything else than cleaning the leaves from time to time and now the branches that I believe do not give me good flowers at the bottom. The 16 buds are perfectly aligned and it is very regular in growth. The flowering fertilizers have helped us get back into a good balance in a very short time, now we go straight to making big buds. We are still using soil, fertilizers and all the additives recommended by Plagron 100% organic. The plant has been flowering for 3 days, in the diary I leave it indicated as the last week of vegetative growth but let's move on to the flowering fertilizers. We have now moved on to the flowering start program which maintains the same additives Power Roots, Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant Power Buds. Now the basic fertilizer is now Alga Bloom with which I find myself very very well even more than Alga Grow which sometimes I have to understand well how to dose in some particular cases (topping). Probably will try to prepare the soil with Plagron Super Mix or with the Zamnesia Pellet.
