3/10/2019. Start of week 8 and the Tangerine Dream is fattening up it’s buds and kicking out more frost every day. Even though the NYC Diesel is exactly the same age as the Tangerine Dream it looks about a week behind in flower but it’s also a far bigger plant and will definitely take longer to flower out. Final defoliation was done to both girls. I willl update through the week as always . Happy growing everyone ✌️!!! 3/15/2019.. The tangerine dream is really beefing up her buds this week. The room smells like sweet orange candy mixed with skunk fuel from the nyc diesel. For sure this tangerine dream is gonna be a very frosty pheno. The nyc diesel is finally starting to really grow out it’s bud sights so really not much to report on her. Overall everything is looks perfect with both girls. 👍

Solid start to flower for these ladies... Starting this grow diary now and filling in as much as I can from the ~8 weeks before this point. I'll keep updating from now 'til harvest. Struggling to keep the heat down so had to rig up a styrofoam cooler "AC" I found on YouTube, like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TpqUr6bEYOs Keeping the DIY CO2 generator running full blast while the lights are on and have some side-lighting led bars in the works that I'll have installed later this week. Drip system has been working great, dialed back the feedings so I don't overwater and can give the top layer of coco a chance to dry out a little bit. Heavy defoliation tomorrow to clean up the canopy...

11/27: harvest day. Well, i have chopped them all down. I trimmed all the bud and put it in seal bags in the freezer. No drying - fresh frozen. Sometime in the next few days i will turn it all into bubble hash. If i had gotten the buds that i wanted I would have dried and cured much of this. But as this is just a typical looking and smelling lemon strain, it all went in the freezer. If not for all of their expectations set by FastBuds, i would likely have loved at least one of the plants. The one labeled PL1 was a monster. It produced over 27oz of trimmed wet bud. The hat is more than the other 3 plants combined. With a total of 53 Oz of trimmed wet bud harvested and frozen. The one that i labeled PL4 was insanely frosty when compared to the other 3 phenos. I have clones of bother PL1 and PL4 that i may consider using for breeding projects where i want a strong lemon. The other two plants were mostly forgettable.

DISCLAIMER START EC Value on weekly page is the actual value, my EC meter was not calibrated and gave extremely false values, that's why it went so bad, corrected it on the weekly page when I noticed it, the EC value in the comment is wrong, the rest is correct. DISCLAIMER END The plant keeps growing super slow and doesn't like "high" EC, after the Increase in EC last week it got stunted and a couple days later started to show tip burn. Really really frustrated and if this one was in my usual setup I would have tossed it out of the window. New growth after topping is also growing EXTREMELY slow. Did some defoliation to get light to lower nodes but ya whatever the plant doesn't care and doesn't want to grow. Unsure if it is due to this pheno, the new setup, the new light or whatever, to many variables to definitely say. I see this grow as a big experiment from now on and don't expect anything anymore. Added some Universol Yellow (high P) after lowering EC due to tip burn. Changed the light to my old one the SP3000 to see if the higher amount of far red is helping it to stretch. Plant started to flower properly mid week so I'll start to mark it as flowering starting next week. On one leaf there is a bud starting to form. Values are average of the day. 18.04. F8 Flower Day 8 – Defoliation & Lollipopping Today a full cleanup and structural adjustment was carried out. Plants were defoliated and lollipopped to remove lower growth and improve airflow and light penetration. At the same time, branches were trained further to achieve a flat and even canopy. The full 1.2 × 1.2 area is now nearly filled, which should allow for optimal light usage going forward. Timing feels right, as the stretch is still ongoing but structure is now set for the flowering phase. From here on, the focus will be on maintaining the canopy and monitoring development as bud formation progresses. ——————— 22.04. F12 The plants are now transitioning from stretch into early bud development. First flower sites are clearly visible across the entire canopy. HST and training have resulted in a very even structure, with the 1.2 × 1.2 space fully utilized. The Autopot system is running consistently, supporting steady growth without fluctuations. The BioTabs setup continues to perform well, providing a stable organic environment. Plants are healthy, vigorous, and showing no signs of stress. From here on, the focus shifts towards bud development and maintaining optimal environmental conditions. The plants are now transitioning from stretch into early bud development. First flower sites are clearly visible across the entire canopy. HST and training have resulted in a very even structure, with the 1.2 × 1.2 space fully utilized. The Autopot system is running consistently, supporting steady growth without fluctuations. The BioTabs setup continues to perform well, providing a stable organic environment. Plants are healthy, vigorous, and showing no signs of stress. From here on, the focus shifts towards bud development and maintaining optimal environmental conditions.

Updates: -4 weeks of flower complete. -La Niña branches are filing in nicely. -Gorilla candy continues to underwhelm. Runt phenos,lots of long skinny branches. Looks good and smells good though. -Misnamed the gorilla candy pheno that looked different from the 2 runt phenos. The 3rd one is actually a Gorilla White widow from expert seeds. Explosive veg, big stretch, nice buds, could use more frost early on. -Looking forward to the La Niña the most ( haze x black widow) -Started using coast of Maine liquid fertilizer liquid kelp and liquid crab fertilizer. I did a heavy defoliation with the green crack for the first time.. the first 3 pics are pre- and the last 3 pics are post-defoliation. Definitely better air flow now as well as more "tops" being seen. Tomorrow going to do the durban.. update w more pics then.

5.30.25. 3rd week of flower! Plant is starting to put on some more bud sites and tie down method is done. She is drinking about 1 gallon a day and finally growing like she should!! Thanks for checking out grow!

3 November Sunset Sherbet Well by the week this cupboard is just getting smellier, danker and bushier.
Vey good I’d say, most of all the branches had reached the scrog net and most of the branches has already been threaded through to maintain the same height. While flipping to flower I noticed that the Sunset-Sherbet is making a lot more pistols due to this but not as fast as the Do-Si-Wine plant is making pistols. ( biggest leaf 17cm 😵 ) Do-Si-Wine This lady while growing vigorously to the top has thin stems which it makes more prone to bending / snapping but luckily haven’t had that problem het of a side branch bending while threading it through the scrog, but I did notice that the branches are a bit more fragile. This lady is making pistols like no tomorrow, every cola / node I can see is making pistols and this lady just wants to go full throttle. On the site it said that this is moderate growth difficulty and yes it is, thin branches, fragile and long lengthy branches. ( biggest leaf 14 cm )

A cutting requires roots to uptake water, we must create an environment so humid the plant can absorb moisture through its one set of leaves, 70+RH% but also a good supply of fresh air and full temperature control. Once I see light lime green it will signify new growth of the plant, I will know it has started to re-root.

Day 64 of this week do not pass 😆😜 two of my girls are ready, but the other two are missing a day more because of the three days that were with the focus spoiled☹️️ the irrigation I have reduced it to 60-70 ml 💦 of water (I have used the dehumidifier😉) in this way they stress a little😋 the humidity is between 38% -44% temperature 26ºC. Everything else ok😄👍 this week I hope to collect the harvest🙌💪

Jan 22nd - tonight the feeding involves Aerated Compost Tea; 4L ea. (menu above) * compost tea looked like a cup of tea. Golden and slightly murky, the tea had reduced the nutrient load to small particles. It just felt right feeding this liquid concoction. Will be looking for changes / surprises these next few days - back to the G.P. liquid routine for the finish… - Black Willie gets thirsty faster, their meals may become seperate events very soon - due to slightly alkaline soil conditions lately, I have balanced the pH of the AC Tea to a 6.3 to help drive the Soil pH lower. Acid was diluted in cups of (good)water and added in sequence to gently drop the 8.3pH of ac tea. 24th - brewing a tea, as listed above, for tomorrow. 2 in a row is a first. Water pH’d to 6.5 b4 adding ingredients. Ppm @ 385 w/ingredients and bubbling Jan 25th - stuck with the plan and used normal Green Planet routine; 4.5L - looked like it snowed on the buds 26th - lifted the Scrog, no Tall threats at this stage. (Making watering to run-off so much easier) Jan 28th - last day of the week - soil checks etc., dinner in a perfect world

Now starting to fatten up and are nice and frosty. Hard to choose between them at the minute on looks but the blue sherbets are definitely some big girls. Buds are dense as fuck and smell lovely. Some of the leaves are quite burnt now so they’re not the best looking lot. Can definately see the affects of the overdrive. Great product. Last week of feed then on to flush.

AUGUST 24 to AUGUST 30, 2024 Sunrise 07:05, sunset 20:50 for total daylight of 13:45 hours. Specimen continues to push upwards, gaining approximately 13cm in height over the past week. Plant is taller than anticipated and planned for, which could present some difficulties as it's getting into the oscillating air circulation fan's wake. Was surprised to see the continued stretch, but there were two days of high heat that may have been the trigger, or, it may have been the result of defoliation and pruning, or it was simply the plant's final push, or a combination of all those factors. It appears to have crowned, or is close to being fully crowned, and as such I undertook a fairly heavy defoliation to improve airflow through the bottom of the plant, and strategically removed leaves in the upper canopy to improve light exposure. Fungus gnats did regain their hold, and so I decided to top dress with Bacillus Thuringiensis Israelensis (delivered via pulverized Mosquito Dunks) in an effort to kill larvae, treated with Soil Pest Defense (Neem Oil, Castile Soap and Yucca Extract) and replaced Bug Scan Yellow Sticky Traps at soil level. Effects were pretty immediate, but I will need to stay on top of this. Would like to cease use of Neem Oil in the soil, so considering acquiring some beneficial nematodes to combat the pest issue. Overall, specimen and its' "neighbours" in the greenhouse are doing well, and filling the room. When accounting for the bench and containers, tops of plants are over 152cm (5ft) from ground level. It is making management a little more challenging, and proving to be more difficult to find good angles to photograph (the space is pretty much filled up). The scent of citrus, skunk and spice emanating from the greenhouse is building, and at times quite strong. Still appears to me to be on-track for ripening the week of October 14, 2024. Day 120 - n/a Day 121 - Drip watered 5.0L of plain rainwater with pH of 6.7 Day 122 - n/a Day 123 - Defoliated specimens, focused on removing leaves from lower parts of the plant to improve airflow (lollipop), pruning hidden or non-producing branches, and strategically removing select upper fan leaves to improve light exposure and airflow. Day 124 - Top dressed with pulverized Mosquito Dunk (1/4 unit per specimen); 1.5L drip watered with plain rainwater in the morning; Hand watered 2.0L of Soil Pest Defense Drench in the afternoon; Hand watered 1.0L of plain rainwater about 30 minutes after soil drench; Replaced Bug Scan Yellow Sticky Traps (1 unit per specimen, cut in half and rested at soil surface on two sides; With defoliation from yesterday, room air flow seems adequate, after increasing speed of lower fans. Day 125 - n/a Day 126 - n/a Next week, planning to feed the rhizosphere with Compost Tea and continue efforts to control fungus gnat population.
