I switch to 12/12 the 02/11/2020 so about one week i think the scretch finished so it's F+2, i started to give the RQS BLOOM booster to give a nice start in nute and i think in 2-3 week i will regive another tablet I also have a high RM about 70% but my exhaust fan is loud and i already have negative presure in my tent so i guess im good?

Amnesia is 5 weeks today. Lots to say about this one, as expected she is big and bendy, so bendy in fact that I was able to try out my new LST clips on her and they work pretty well, able to ben the branches 90 degrees without snapping and the clips hold it all in place instead of trying to stand up again. I was even able to use them on the much more rigid Jack47. So this enabled me to have a scrog effect. The flowers are coming along fast. Can't wait to see how this ends up. The Jack 47 is not too rigid but it's thick branches would normally just be left till they grow long enough to try and bend them out a bit without snapping them off at the stem. However I was even able to get some LST clips into this and form a lower canopy with the two topped branches coming out the top. I may also flatten them out later depending on what happens. Now that she is flipping I'm expecting some good growth next week, but I don't know, never grown this one before, my LST work made all the beautiful large lower fan leaves point downwards, I removed them all today. Gorilla Cookies, what to say about this genetic monstrosity, she it beginning to stretch. The only reason I'm not throwing this out is that I want to be certain that it is a Gorilla Cookie, because I planted a replacement bean, and it looks completely normal. I thought the fat leaves on the Gorilla was good when I first saw it, until I realised it wasn't.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Beautiful growth overall, the tallest plant stands at around 54.5 inches with a potent Kush Aroma. Another week but no dramatic changes aside from a slight red color developing on the leaves.

Mild defoliation throughout this week. Flush imminent so will leave the remaining fans as nute banks. Next run with these genetics I'll be running a monstercropped clone under this scrog and will go heavier with the defoliation earlier on. I was advised this on here this grow and did a bit but have learned I need more! Forever learning. Looks like it's gonna be an epic harvest. These girls smell absolutely dank. Testament to the quality of these Madame Grow Fertilisers. Harvest just get better every time! Switched the plants to flower this week and have noticed tons of growth since. Both plants have turned out to be female and are both producing pistils. Have run into a potential problem while defoliating I noticed a couple leaves on one stem that look like they were burnt almost. They weren’t bad but I haven’t noticed it anywhere else. I looked over a lot of the leaves with a healers loupe under 60x magnification and didn’t notice and insects, the leaves were also growing into the side of the tent so that might be what cause it but not too sure.

Bro’s first grow, he’s made a decent DIY Aero/Hydroponic system the girl is coming along great with. A few issues with temps an seemed she got a little growth stun in her early weeks all good now though she’s just coming into flower and is looking good. Happy growing peeps 👍 🌱

Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! Producing buds nicely this week - despite it being more susceptible to light burn than the other pheno. I had a similar plant but in auto form that went from green to yellow over night. It is just the genes. It looks sick but that's how it actually grows, I've learnt to accept the fan leaves don't stay looking green and lush for long from this pheno. It is still producing goods non the less! Happy growing 🌱💚
