One Forbiddin Runtz got chopped an hung to dry out an the rest are still flushing out through the rest of this week! Very nice looking fades coming along on the fan leafs from purple to green , so beautiful ! So happy with these genetics from @fastbuds_genetics! Day 106 Day 63 Flower 12/07/24 Friday 2nd week of flush and it's like the plant is holding out, like it wants to go on and on. I gave 3L de-chlorinated tap water today pH 6.0 Day 107 Day 64 Flower 13/07/24 Saturday Big flush again today 10L de-chlorinated tap water to pH 6.0 with 10ml flawless finish . Trichomes are flooding but she is still throwing out white pistils like crazy 😮‍💨 just ripen woman ♀️ 😅💚 Removed all lower fan leaves to help her suck every nute out of herself quicker, I think maybe this will work 😅✌️ Day 109 Day 66 Flower 15/07/24 Monday Watering off today, 3L de-chlorinated tap water ph 5.8. Noticed now sugar leaves and fans started depleting there green colour and are fading yellow, trichomes all cloudy, some amber's I'm finding but not many yet. Some clear still. Day 111 Day 68 Flower 17/07/24 Thursday Allowing soil to dry out now. May do a 24-48hr dark period I'll see how she is tomorrow.

Hallo Growmies, Welcome everyone to the third week of the trip to Japan. This week the adventures started and we still have a bumpy road ahead of us before we reach the final destination. After we changed the nutrient solution she definitely seemed more happier .💦 So decided to start with the trainings, on Day 25 topped her and right after started with LST. I expect her to recover quickly from the early stress and start growing strong in the next 2 weeks. 🌱 On day 27 took off 4 big fan leaves. Till day 29 we continued tying the branches and checked and corrected the PH daily. Let the branches up for 2 days to regenerate then we tied them again. PPFD is around 600. Will keep this until the end of the veg period. Everything is going well but there was something to worry about again. I started giving powder silicate to the mix and left a gap between the net pot and the water. In the second day checked the root and noticed that silicate deposited in clumps on the part of the root which is between the net pot and the water. Luckily could wash it off with a shower. Plants continued to stretch last week, I had to weave a couple branches through the top screen as well to keep them level with the canopy. Overall it’s going good, I did a defoliation again a few days ago to try and open up as many budding sites as possible to the light. I noticed some nutrient burn on my leaf tips at the end of last week so I diluted the reservoir water with 3 gal of fresh water. My HPS light is still turned down to 750w as the light output at the top of the canopy exceeds 75 000 lux directly under the light even turned down. I have a light mover moving my light though so it’s not always in one spot. This is only my second crop using this light mover though so I’m still adjusting its speed and pause time and doing some experimenting with it...lol smell is normal still, not strong but it’s noticeable when you open up the tent. I will be updating more pictures and videos throughout the week as well. Cheers 💨

So with the hydro I am running into it getting way to tall and some of the top kolas are burning the living soil and super soil are doing great solid buds on them and growing daily i missed a week because i was out of town but here we are really week 4 into flower after transitioning. Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.

Day 14 Veggie Still in propagation tent; the back two rooted nicely, looks like the air stone was pushed back so they got the most benefit. I still need to clean out the veg tent for transplant into hydroton and 2 month grow period. 🎼🎶 I was gonna clean out the grow tent, but then I got high...🎵 JK.... I’m lazy.

Day 28 flowering: Another enjoyable week using this little ray of sunshine.. The 2 plants under it are thriving and showing perfect health. The coverage is plenty enough for both plants in their 30L pots and at a height of approx 18 inches above them both, has enough depth penetration to reach the lower growth developing. The Northern lights has some nice stacking colas forming which will hopefully end with a stout but bud heavy girl. Her golf ball tops are a good sign for the 3rd week flowering too. She has plenty of mains to help this happen I think. My Grandaddys Mimosa is also doing brilliant now and has so much growth on her to build nice buds onto. She looks a little more productive than the Northern light too so should be an interesting race. The others moved out of the lights canopy are all going well too. Looking forward to the Gorilla cookies too. All in all another great weeks performance from the Xs1500. Onward and upward growmies Be well .

La técnica de 36 horas de oscuridad antes de cambiarlas a 12/12 floracion me ha funcionado bien, lo veran por ustedes mismos. La temperatura esta biner del cuarto, humedad, olor entre otros, aunque les baje un poco los ppm a dos plantas de ellas bantantes elevado y esto afectaba el crecimiento de las nenas (esto es lo que le pasaba a la semilla que simpre me dio problemas, su ppm estaba en 4800 😬😱. Al identificarlo lo corregi dandoles un baño profundo 😋, y ahora todas estan en un 1200 a 1400 😍. seguimos muy contentos, con buenas espectativas este 2021 y que siga la lluvia de bendiciones para mi, para ti, para tooodos. The filter is long overdue because I think this will be the first time in this room. --- Also swapped out the lung room’s carbon filter and changed the orientation from horizontal to vertical. --- Now the carbon filter is resting on the table with the exhaust fan point straight up. The slight downside is that exhaust vent is S-shaped which will reduced the efficiency of the fan, but that’s okay. --- As for the carbon filter, both units are refillable! Plan to refresh the old filter unit with new carbon before the next filter swap out (have a bag of fresh carbon pellets). --- Anyways! Now the tank is 24in higher than it was. Since the auto-watering system is gravity fed, this should raise the PSI slightly more. --- This also frees up some floor space under the table. --- While rearranging the Ecowitt WittFlow units, I discovered an issue with two of the units. --- Both the front left (Heady OG BX1 #1 mom) and back right (Gorilla Goat #1 mom) for the veg tent were malfunctioning. --- Shaka..
