UPDATE - Saturday 13th It’s been ok. The reason I have stopped filling out the amount of water I’m giving them is because they don’t get watered daily. I water them once every three or four days depending on other things going on. With soil having a how much water per 24h is pointless because the whole point of soil is to dry out slowly and if you want a big plant you end up in a HUGE pot which takes like a week or more to dry out! The amount I water is the amount of water in the bottom of the reservoir + 1/3 more.

The girls are doing fine this week. They are packing on some weight and I'm starting to get a sweet, coffee smell from some of them. I'm noticing at least three different phenotypes, which was expected with F1 seeds. That said, all but one gave a good stretch, and each of them is showing great bud development.

WEEK 11 (Day 71-77) I harvested all my Dos-si-dos on Day 73. The plants remained very small and compact, which was partly intentional. The pot volume was set quite low, which I wasn't entirely happy with. Splitting the pots also turned out to be less practical, as the plants ended up too close together. Despite that, the harvest turned out quite respectable. Visually, I really like it the dark tone and the many trichomes make for a fantastic look. The aroma is also quite special. First and foremost, I find it has a strong, sweet note in its scent. As for the cultivation, the Dos-si-dos were very easy to care for and handled all training exceptionally well. Due to the short distance between the shoots, I might even recommend LST or just a single, simple topping. I fertilized almost exclusively organically, except that I added a bit of Plagron Green Sensation during the flowering phase. I continuously defoliated well to ensure good air circulation, which worked quite well. In the last two weeks, I kept the lights on for 24 hours straight to avoid fluctuations in temperature and humidity. By the end, I settled at a DLI of around 60—it was a bit more than desired but still worked fine. In the last week, I only watered with plain water and dimmed the lights a bit. Some of the tips developed a purplish hue. The buds appear very firm and voluminous, sparkling thanks to the dense, white layer of trichomes. I would absolutely grow this strain again since it has a truly great and robust growth pattern, though next time, I would choose larger pots. I'm now drying my harvest at around 60% RH and 21°C until the smaller stems become brittle, then I'll store them in my hygrometer jars for curing. I'm satisfied with the yield as well. Based on my calculations, I reached about 400g/m². A good result for such small bonsai-like plants. For small grow spaces, this strain is really perfect. I've never grown such small yet productive plants before, and I found it to be a great change of pace. A huge thank you to Zamnesia for the support—it was, as always, an honor.

Week 7 green space looking amazing

4 weeks in and all is looking stellar! The stacking on the BHB is stunning, while the Cheese is producing some respectable clusters and the OJ is defining up top and needs a bit of a clean underneath. All the others are producing from top to bottom so as long as light penetration is adequate, I'll let them go. BHB#1 has a most interesting aroma and I'm impatient to see her develop! Start of week 5, the smaller plants are taking forever to uptake the water I think that's really caused some stunting 🙁 anyways just gonna let them dry off and refill, see what happens. All of the big girls are looking nice and being fed daily. Clones have started showing some beautiful roots and I can't wait to run a full batch of clones in here. Yeah so it's 9/21 last night I checked all of the clones and 100% have fat white roots popping out the bottom of the Root riot cube so I guess it worked, I filled some one gal pots today and got them all transplanted. 9/24 all clones are looking good, LSD is thriving in the flower room, smells amazing and sticky as can be, seems like stretching is over.

I'm 4 days into flower. Topped all the plants nice and even. Then removed all bud sites below the top 4 on each branch. Leaving fan leaves intact. I allowed them to recover for 2 days. Then flipped the lights. Blue Gelato 41 has filled in 2/3 of the tent well. Big leaves are forming and they continue to reach.

Final painting and floor trim completed. Walls are white and bright. I started to construct the main flood table. It is made of 2x3's and a sheet of chipboard. I fastened some rails at the perimeters and used caulking to seal all gaps. I will coat the face of the chipboard with a polyurea flat roof coating to make it completely watertight. I have 1/4 : 12 slope on it right now so that it drains to the reservoir end. I stained the sides of the table grey to match the floor trim because ambiance matters Shelves are up to hold my nutes/test pens/genetics/nug/papers/etc... I brought in one of the 3 HLG 550 clone qb's to test for light as I have never seen them in action. WOW!!
