Chop day is officially here! By the end of Week 16, I decided to pull the trigger. The trichomes were mostly cloudy with a few ambers popping up here and there. While I could have let her go another week, my personal schedule made this the perfect time to harvest. I also had a new toy in the garden today: a Vevor bowl trimmer. I used it for the small and medium-sized buds while hand-trimming the 'top shelf' colas. Honestly? I’m blown away. It’s not as surgical as a manual trim, but the time-saving is a total game-changer. The Stats: - Wet weight: 544g Next step: Into the Dryfermbags for about a week until the limited amount (due to German law) is ready for the jar. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this grow. No issues, no drama—this strain was an absolute breeze to grow and performed like a champ. Now, I just need to nail the drying and curing phase! P.S. Need some cleaning advice! Cleaning the Vevor trimmer (especially the grate) is a nightmare. I’ve been using ISO and a cloth, but it’s still a struggle to get all that resin off. If anyone has a pro-tip or a better method for cleaning these machines, please let me know in the comments!"

Continue to grow well, the smell of lime now is predominant with some sweet undertones of Critical. I checked her trichomes and I think she has 2-3 weeks ahead of harvest

Day 74 Harvest time! She didn't have the best start at life, lost a major limb/side stem early on (my fault, too aggressive with LST), and got a bit stunted from stress I think. Flushed twice (once was to get her out of being stunted, it worked). Probably could have left it another couple of days as some of the lower buds were still maturing, not many though, and i needed to get her out of there so I could turn the extractor fan down to bring the humidity up for the young plants. I'm really happy with the result, especially after the small disaster that was Zkittlez (which im pretty sure was actually CBD lemon as its not potent at all). Not a big yield, would have been a lot bigger had she not lost a limb. I'm not too worried though, quality over quantity right? im pretty certain this is the best stuff i've grown so far, 5th times the charm huh? Trichomes are about 80-90% milky and 10-20% amber, first plant i've actually let get amber, so yeah, finally grew something right lol. No nutes for about 2-3 weeks before chop, and yeah 2 flushes, so im hoping it'll have a nice taste. Oh, and i didn't water for 3-5 days before harvest, which could explain why she's so light (not a lot of water weight), visually looks similar to the harvest, size-wise, yet a good 60grams lighter, will be interesting to see what the dry weight is. I'm gonna throw out a guess of 38gms. Even though she has a great smell, its not very stinky while drying, nor was it in the tent. you have to touch the buds to get any scent, pretty handy tbh. Currently drying in my wardrobe with a fan blowing underneath (not touching the buds) for airflow. Happy! EDIT: not the best trim job, im not very well at the moment so just wanted to get it done. plenty of trim that im going to use to make pain relief balms/lotions

We are entering week 9 now! She’s an absolute beast! Smells is strong but very fresh and tasty. The upper buds seems to be ready to harvest but I think I will give the whole plant another week until chop, chop :)

12.5.25: I watered with some more Trace again. She's feeding well and needs watering more often again. I upped the dose of Trace as I've noticed that there are some purple hues coming back on the stems. 13.5.25: I have removed all fabric ties on the plant. I think we have stopped stretching, so the sooner, the better. I keep getting my watering can caught in them all, and it was only a matter of time before I ended up snapping more branches off 😅 The fewer things in my way, the better 🤫 15.5.25: I watered today as the pot had dried out almost. The plant was watered with dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.5 with the following nutrients per 6.5 litres; ♡ 7ml Trace by Ecothrive ♡ 1/2 Tsp Sea K(elp) by Greenleaf nutrients The plants received the amounts below. HULKBERRY: 1l FASTBUDS: 2l NORTHERN LIGHTS: 3.5l I am not giving any further nitrogen at this stage. They had a couple of doses in the past week or so. I'm sure they don't need any more. So, I'm just using the kelp as it's packed full of goodness and high in potassium. I also suspect an excess of phosphorus. So I'm also leaving that out for the time being. There are still some red stems on the plants. added the Ecothrive trace for the last few waterings. I'm hoping it will resolve without any further intervention. 16.5.25: I watered Northern Lights with 3ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with: ♡ 1/2 Tsp Sea K(elp) by Greenleaf nutrients ♡ 7ml Trace by Ecothrive Measurements per 6.5ltrs. PPM: 670 PH: 6.4 17.5.25: I watered again today with 2ltrs of the above PH'D to 6.2. Parameters remaining the same. The plant is increasingly thirsty, so the waterings have again needed to be increased. As we're reaching deep into flowering, this is par for the course. I'm mostly using coco, perlite worm castings. Etc. So it's very easy for my pots to dry out. I need to keep on top of it. As the pots dry out, the microbes are lost, and so keeping everything moist and healthy is imperative. That's why I add Ecothrive Biosys regularly to ensure I keep up with the microbial life in the soil biology. To avoid PH lockout. 18.5.25: I watered again, with the same parameters as yesterday. Before and after the defoil!! Slow flush with water only, cleaning them veg nutrients away! Net down to manage the stretch in next 3 weeks 🤞 first time using this tech, I usually just topt like a radical!!

Day 66 : This lady continues fattening, faster now. Also crystal production increased. The breeder suggests 70-75 days. For now all crystals are almost milky with some cloudy. So she need 1 week for sure, maybe a bit more. That gum smell is so attractive, you want to eat it. Reduced bio grow and removed Calcium. Edit 70 : I saw the first ambers, very little. So i watered for last time with juices Next watering will be flush to reduce the juices in the soil. So if initially has 1200-1300ppm i want to reduce it to 350-500ppm. After flush continue pure water until chop chop. This is my approach for all ladies always.

Essa planta demorou mais na Vega porque eu transplantei tarde devido ao grow de flora estar ocupado com outro ciclo. Dediquei um tempinho treinando e ajustando o Scrog, creio que agora não precise mais moldar os galhos, pra 1 armário 60x50cm tá apertado lol Subi um pouco a Quantum board para garantir que fique 35cm do topo central. Agora é só apreciar a floração.

So first of before you wonder why tape is falling off the trunk etc, all that is coming off. Little experiment im doing of Super HST, essentially snapped off 3 main nodes and taped them back together. I want to see if this makes a difference in overall weight, quality and any visual differences. The plan is to weigh all 3 total weight individually and compare to other branches of the same node/section of the plant to compare. Becoming a heavy drinker at about just under 1/2 gal per day. Re-calibrated my PH pen as noticed a few spots coming up and the solution was sitting closer to 5.6. More upgrades would be needed if I would opt for constantly running a DWC system as its proven challenging with limited length air lines etc to pull her out of the short tent to work on her stature. Supercropped numerous times to keep the canopy at a manageable 12” from the light. At 95 Watts it’ll be interesting to see what can be pulled from 5 Gal DWC keeping it simple 2 nutrients, Nova and Calmag ✌️

Hier ein paar Bilder vom Blüte Tag 21, vor und nach dem entlauben. Etwas gelollipoppt würde auch. Bei der FrostBanger mussten wir so gut wie nichts weg nehmen, die hat jetzt schon so dicke Buden und ist definitiv der süße Pheno, was uns freut, denn den genießen wir gerade auch aus dem letzten Run. Jetzt müssen sie sich vom Stress erholen und dürfen dann schöne volle buds ausbilden. Here are a few pictures from flowering day 21, before and after defoliation. A little bit of lollipopping was also done. With FrostBanger, we only had to remove a few leaves, it already has such thick buds and is definitely the sweet phenotype, which we're happy about, as we're currently enjoying that one from the last grow. Now they need to recover from the stress and then they can develop beautiful, full buds.
