Hi all. Hope we are all well amd healthy. This was the last weeks veg period for the FFT crew. The poorly girls are not going to break any records for returns in the grow but thankfully the 2 that are in soil are more than making up for the miniture FFT#8. she is the right colour at least . Her size really is small which is down to the root rot issues that hit the tank hard. FFT#9 is a different game all together and is getting very big. I expect the stretch to help flatten and widen her out to give a nice sized canopy. Inner growth is getting nice and plentiful too so should be a good yielder. FFT#10 is really looking Indica leaning now with the colour of deep green all the way through. Her leaves are nice and broad for those lumens that need to be grabbed too. I would love to know what these strains are and have a few of the FFT i would vertainly purchase and grow. I think most of us testing them have a very positive experience in general Well done Fastbuds. Lets see these ladies with some stretch on next week. I will use this week to get them as lateral and flat as possible and rhen use atretch week 2 to build the bud spikes. Plan is to defoliate at around day 18/19 as they are fast flowering so should be showing some flowers forming by then. Thet are alsondue sone ecothrive charge , bio-sys and life cycle to boost them for their flowering start.

This week we dropped 4 testers in a mix of Posidesine(Oregon's Only) and water for 24hr. All 4 seeds went into paper towel that was placed in clkne dome with a temp of 86.5 and humidity of 99%. Pot prep as follows for all 4 seeds 3gal using Fox Farms Light Warrior Natural Seed Starter× Roots Organic Formula 707 by Aurora Innovations×Wiggleworm Soil Builder(wormcastings 3cups) DOWN TO EARTH dry amendments as follows BIOLIVE 9TBSPS AZOMITE 3TBSPS KELP MEAL 3 TBSPS ALFALFA MEAL 5TBSPS OYSTERSHELL 5TBSPS HUMIC ACID 1TBSPS All 4 seeds germinated and where potted on 11-3-19 All 4 broke soil on 11-5-19 and were watered with Recharge and Athenas Aminas Day 1 was recorded on 11-6-19 Day 2 was recorded on 11-7-19 and all plants were watered with Cytoplus, Azos, Mykos, and Mammoth P Day 4 was recorded on 11-9-19 and this strain #09 Pheno #1 was watered with Athenas Aminas

What a long day, but I appear to have made it. I picked Gnomo specifically for its short size and fast flower time. She did not disappoint! Transplanted and she handled it very well. At transition, have her a bit too much microbes. But she quickly recovered, which I assumed she would. The transition top dress would be her only top dress. I got to boost her a few times, but then she was done. POOF! 😂😂 The slight burn made her a little rocky looking. But she turned out awesome buds! Very frosty looking and stacked! I believe my plants are finally getting acclimated to the medium and recovering from transplant shock. New growth is looking much healthier. Just as a preventative measure, I picked up some Botanicare Hydroguard to use in an attempt to supplement the roots and bring the pH of the soil down to where I want it. Personally, the pH remains just a tad too high for my liking this week. I would like it more in the range of 5.7-6.5 but I'll give it a week or so to see the reaction to the Hydroguard. I've continued with more LST on all but the Glookies #2. On this plant I simply did a topping. It was a risk, considering the plants isn't vibrantly healthy, but I need to maintain it's height. I also did a second topping to the American Pie #1. As can be observed from the photos, not all of the plants were shaped the same way. I got creative with the fabric pots and I decided to LST a few plants a little bit differently just to see which technique/style I liked the most. So far, I am digging the way the Jelly Bananen #1/#2 and American Pie #2 are shaping up. They are going to have a beautiful, wide canopy when they head into flower. I'm considering transplanting into 5 gallon fabric pots within the next week or two so I can flip them to flower two weeks later. My intuition is telling me this has been a pretty lengthy vegetative stage, thus far. I'm expecting all of my plants to double in size during the flowering stage, which should be anywhere between 65-70 days long. I made sure to select strains with similar flowering times (60-70 days). ZodaZa - Umami Seed Co. Day 90 🚿 She was twice this week watered with 3L of RO tap water, with defined nutrients, mixed in order and then pHd to 6.3. I've increased her BioHeaven and Acti-Vera nutrients to help boost her metabolism 💪🏻 ✂️ She has been working hard on bulking her flower again this week! No work required on her this week, as her internodal spacing and low leaf count has made her super easy to manage! 🙌🏻 🌸 Her flower has grown well but still requires bulking! But you can see her other worldly appearance starting to show, with shades of dark green contrasted with the white pistils and dark purple on her sugar leaves - she really is spectacular!! Her aroma is also present, with notes of grapes and candy 👌🏻

Day 14. Second dose of nutes. Day 17. Trimmed leaf and bent plant over LST. Day 18. Side branches coming in nicely. Day 19. HST side branches.

Week 4 - 01/22 to 01/28 2021 Pictures from Days 25 + 26 TRANSPLANTED! Might have waited too long but hopefully the transplant and LST stress might slow the plant down since i think it's already flipping to flower like the other @SweetSeeds Dark Devil Auto and the Purple Lemonade from @FastBuds. I think the Red Poison might have been the first one I noticed to flip but at least this one will be quick. More and more reasons to go back to a photoperiod grow after this for more control/really test out the new lights 🙌 Ended up more 50/50 ratio of Destiny Organic's Dark Matter Living Soil + ProMixHP since I had to make the Destiny last. Apparently they went out of business just after I decided it was my favourite/new soil :( Would rather stay away from Ocean Floor since I haven't had the best experiences with it (bugs/rust fungus etc) Feel free to drop some recommendations other than Fox Farms below 👍 The Red Poison Auto is going strong other wise, keeping the LST basic to see if I can still get the screen in the tent but it wouldn't be practical at this point. I raised the @ViparSpectraLED P1500 another eight inches after transplant and started basic LST. I really wanted to get these four under a ScrOG but if 3/4 are already flipping and the LSD is still runty I might have to wait it out again. Just like the Dark Devil in my other Sweet Seeds diary, there is a solid smell on the fingers after adjusting it/when the fan hit it just right 😍 I have the @MarsHydroLED TSL2000 set up and ready to go once the girls settle into their new pots. Have the new surge protector/heavy duty power cords/power tool grade timers as mentioned in Week 3. Some of it shown in the pictures.
