🌿🔍 Week 7: Trichome Wonderland and Final Push! 🌿🔍 Hey there! Here's your weekly update with all the exciting developments in my grow: 🌸 The Smell is Popping: Week 7 brings a delightful aroma to my grow space. The scents are becoming more pronounced and captivating. 🌬️👃 🌈 Colors Galore: The plants are showing off their vibrant colors as the flowers mature. You'll notice burpling on the leaves and the emergence of orange and red hairs on The Queen plant. LOVE IT ! 🌺🎨 💧 pH and TDS Levels: Throughout the entire flower stage, my pH has remained steady at 6.33. That's great! As for the TDS levels, they currently stand at 750ppm and 1150ppm, providing the necessary nutrients for your plants. ⚖️🌱 ⏳ Flowering Progress: The Queen is proving to be a quick finisher, with only 46 days of flowering under her belt. She's looking almost ready, and it's time to grab my handy DIY microscope to examine the trichomes closely. Keep an eye for the desired level of ripeness! 🔍🌿⌛ 🍪 Oreo Big Stuff: Although not as far along as The Queen, the Oreo Big Stuff will need an additional week of flowering before she reaches her peak. 🍪⚡ 🌿 Zweet Og: The Zweet Og requires a bit more patience. It looks like it will need at least two more weeks before it's ready for harvest. Keep monitoring her progress and let her mature fully. 🕒👀🌿 🧐 Drying Dilemma: Unfortunately, I currently am facing a problem with drying The Queen. She's positioned on the back left side of the grow tent with a scrog, making it challenging to remove her without disturbing the others. It's a tricky situation indeed! 😬🌿🏋️‍♂️ 🌱 Future Plans: Despite this dilemma, overall, I'm extremely happy with how things are going. No herms or other issues have arisen, which is fantastic news. I'm even planning to do another run with The Queen, as I already have six clones ready to be transitioned into flowering immediately after this run. Day 65 : officially 1st day of flush . Changed the reservoir with fresh water and 1.2g/5 gallons of Yucca extract and 5ml/gallon of Cleanex from Botanicare . Day 68- I did some defoliate. Few more days until harvest.

Hello Growmies! As we conclude our Epic Buzz journey, let's dive into the final harvest data under the exceptional conditions provided by the Trolmaster and the engaging platform of GD. This week marks the end of our cultivation cycle with a final wet weight of 1720 grams from a setup featuring the FC4800 light dimmed to 65% maximum, utilizing 108 watts over an area of approximately 0.48 square meters. Final Harvest Metrics: Yield Efficiency: Achieved an impressive yield efficiency of 15.92 wet grams per watt, underscoring the efficiency of our light setup. Area Yield: With a productivity of 3583.33 wet grams per square meter, our cultivation space was maximized for optimal output. Plant Yield: Each plant contributed significantly, averaging 573.33 grams, highlighting robust growth and development. Density: The garden hosted 6.25 plants per square meter, optimizing space without overcrowding. Energy Utilization: The grow utilized 225 watts per square meter, a testament to our strategic light management. A huge shoutout to Trolmaster for making such an amazing contest possible, and to GD for providing a platform that brings us all together. Adding Mephisto Sour Hound to my tent of autos. Really excited about growing some Mephisto Genetics, been hearing amazing things about Mehphisto (I also have a Alien vs Triangle going in a separate diary). This is a free seed I received with my order from Seedsman last fall (BTW Seedsman ROCKS!). This first seed failed to pop so I planted a second and that one popped in 4 days!. My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic, I’m starting 2-3 seeds at at time for the last couple of rounds. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water any plants via water bottles and watering spikes. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around week 3 I'll do a FIM pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope FIM/defoliation only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. Setup: 1- Grow Tent 24”x48”x72” 2- Viparspectra 300W LED’s (1-V300 & 1-R300) 1- Hanging 100w CFL (26w actual) 1- Carbon Filter w/ 190cfm Fan & 4” ducts 1- 6” clip-on fan 1- 700w electric heater - oil filled radiator (in front of air intake behind tent)

04.08. Girl Scout Cookies Day 101# The plants are progressing well, most of them went into preflower a few days ago, the others are slowly entering... I was too lazy to photograph and record each plant separately, so I took a picture and recorded everything together... this grass has grown too much, in some places it is half way up the plant and you can't see how big the plants actually are, these days I will mow it under them and around them and in the next update I will post individual pictures where everything will look nice...day before yesterday I watered them with clean water, the next watering also with clean water and then I will most likely switch to food for the flower, I will see from the situation. Three days ago it was the end of their fourteenth week, the pictures and videos are from day before yesterday. I found a broken GSC this morning... last night there were strong storms, it was the only one that broke, it broke exactly where the tree splits into two main branches, right in the middle... I tied it with laces and will monitor the situation in the coming days. Stay High and Keep Growing!!!

More Fantastic Grow News! They have been still doing great and developing the flowers and buds - I am VERY happy with how everything has been turning out! When opening the tent you are immediately hit with the subtle smell of maturing, ripening ganja - Each flower has a mixture of white hairs, orange hairs and an incredible amount of frosty leaves and trichomes. I notice that my Cherry Gorilla x Sol Sonic #2 is sprouting the red hairs faster than the rest - I hope she can hold off until the rest of the girls are completely finished! The Cal-Mag seems to be working - I am noticing dark, dark green leaf color right next to the biggest buds - I am guessing that this is the Cal-Mag doing its thing. I see that the leaves that were damaged from the deficiency are slowly turning back, however I feel as it is this far along, the plants are most likely focusing on the flowers rather than the leaves - which seems to be what I wanted. The dark color next to the buds give me hope it was a good remedy. When touching each of the flowers, you are left with a VERY sticky, leftover goo than stays on your fingers. Each flower smells extremely distinct - which is somewhat unexpected. This just goes to show you the power of phenotypes! These seeds came from the same dispensary bag, and each one seems to be just a little different. You can especially see what I am talking about from the Macro shots I took this week - look at the descriptions for the full breakdown. Wish me luck!
