I'm very happy to say that I had 100% germination rate across the board👏 All my ladies started to come up on April 24th, including an extra! In the few years that I've been growing, I've probably started around 50+ seedlings, but having 2 seedlings come out of 1 seed is new for me. I'm curious to know if anyone else has come across this. Regardless, it's pretty cool and I'm happy. My only concern is how viable the 2nd seedling will be. I feel like I need to wait until she's stronger before I try extricating her from her twin, since she's a few days behind in this very sensitive stage. But at the same time I don't want to wait too long because their root systems will only become more intertwined. We'll just have to see. Once these babies began getting upright on April 25 I put them under 3 Litever 24v grow light strips. On April 27th they were hitting the roof of the humidity dome so I took them off the heat mat and put them in a south facing window for the morning and put them under the lights in the afternoon. The next day on 4/28 it was absolutely gorgeous out, 60F clear and sunny so I put them in the south flower bed in front of my house and they drank in the sun. The 29th was overcast and chilly so they stayed in the house under the lights. Same thing today. No nutes this week, as the potting soil still has a little more to give, but they'll be getting some Nitrogen soon. See y'all next week👋

Week 14 (4/18/22 - 4/24/22)

Day 36: "Hey everyone! Just a quick update: I removed a few more leaves here and there and did one last round of LST (low stress training). 🌿 The plants are looking great, and I'm going to let them recover now before sending them into the flowering stage. I'm really excited to see them start blooming in 2-3 weeks! Also, a quick update on our temperature issue: today, the temperature stayed below 26.8°C, which is great news! However, we still need to find a solution to keep the humidity levels up. Our 360 m³/h exhaust system isn't able to maintain the required humidity level. I've calculated that we need a humidifier that can evaporate 1800ml/h to maintain 60-70% humidity, which would help manage the temperature better. Does anyone have tips for a good humidifier or other methods to control the humidity and temperature? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Day 37: Hey everyone! Tomorrow, we're planning to buy some Cal-Mag because we suspect the yellowing leaves might be due to a calcium-magnesium deficiency. We're also going to get a pH test kit to make sure everything is balanced properly. Do you think this is a good idea? Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Day 38: Hey everyone! Quick update: it turns out the yellowing leaves were due to a nitrogen deficiency. We increased the fertilizer dosage today, so the plants should start looking better in 4 to 5 days. 🌿 Thanks for all the support and suggestions Day 39: Hey everyone! Another quick update: after increasing the fertilizer yesterday to address the nitrogen deficiency, it should take about 4 to 5 days for the yellow leaves to turn green again. 🌿 We're already seeing improvements! The plants have grown significantly and are developing a dense canopy once more. It's great to see them bouncing back so quickly! Day 41: "Hey everyone! Quick update: we've removed the bands we were using for LST (low stress training) and are now letting the plants grow freely. 🌿 We plan to keep them in the vegetative phase for about one more week before transitioning them to the flowering phase. Excited to see how they continue to develop!"

Week 2 has gone just as well as I'd like it too! I had an accident during the week where I had dropped a sticky bug trap on one of my girls, this led to me accidentally ripping off a fan leaf and a half, but she seems to have come out of it just fine! (Thankfully). I have been feeding 1/3 strength nutes the past few feeds, stepping it up from 1/4. I will be watering until I see runoff from now on to prevent nutrients from building up in the coco. Update(day 15, 4/12/20) Today I purchased a new oscillating fan, co2 bags and a new hygrometer that hooks up to my phone and shows me stats. The girls have been putting in a lot of work over the past 24 hours. I also had a Purple Punch photo seed sprout today which I may be turning into a mother plant. I will be starting a diary for this girl too. Update (Day 16 5/12/20) Second purple punch photo popped today, going to keep 1 inside and give the other to my mom to take care of. The girls got their first 1/4 dose of calmag today fed at 6ph due to all the nutrients settling there.( I do have ph +/- but I'm going to try run this whole grow at 5.8-6.2. Update (Day 17 6/12/20) Plants seem happy today. Fan leaves producing a the pre-existing nodes are starting to shoot out quite rapidly. Unfortunately, my streets power went out today for ~90 minutes, I opened the tent, windows and doors to get any light in I could, thankfully the power came back on shortly after. I fed the girls today with very little run-off(I'm trying to perfect the amount of water they need). Update (Day 18 7/12/20) The girls have jumped up over night! I wont be feeding today as I'd like the coco to dry out quite a bit more. Update (Day 19 8/12/20 Gave the girls a small feed today with very little run-off Everything seems to be going well so far, I'm very thankful! Update (day 20 9/12/20) Everything is going pretty well today. I will not be feeding as the increased humidity has kept the coco more moist than usual. Will be feeding full strength nutes tomorrow! Day 63 Today marks day 63 of flowering and the plants are really showing their final form. The buds have packed on a lot of weight over the past week, and the colas are looking dense, swollen and sticky to the touch. The pistils have mostly changed color now, with a good portion curling in and turning orange and amber, which gives the flowers that mature, finished look. When I check the trichomes under the loupe I can see that the majority are cloudy, with just a few still clear and the first signs of amber starting to show. This is a good sign that the harvest window is opening soon, though I’ll probably let them go a few more days to really finish and develop that extra potency and flavor. The smell is very intense at this point. Every time I open the tent I’m hit with a strong wave of aroma that’s a mix of sweet, earthy and slightly fruity notes, depending on which plant I’m leaning into. It’s sticky enough now that just brushing against a bud leaves resin on my fingers. The leaves are starting to fade naturally as the plant finishes up, showing yellows and some purples, which also makes the buds stand out even more. I’ve stopped feeding nutrients and have been giving only plain, pH-balanced water to let the medium flush out. Runoff is looking clean and the plants seem to be using up the last of their stored energy. Temperatures and humidity are steady, and the airflow in the tent is keeping everything fresh with no signs of mold or rot, which is always something I watch carefully this late in flower. Overall the garden looks amazing and I feel like I’m right on track for harvest. The next week will be about patience and daily trichome checks until I see the balance of cloudy and amber that I’m aiming for. It feels like the long wait is finally paying off, and the excitement is building to finally chop, dry, and cure these beautiful buds

I went away on vacation to Utah for a week so I wasn't able to update my grow journal at all unfortunately . She really exploded while I was gone she's roughly 14"tall x 17"wide. She is starting to give off a nice dank smell I had the carbon filter off but I switch it back on. The tents humidity will drop back to 35-40RH% because of this. I also switched the bloom lights back on so the temp is also going to rise up higher than 75F during the day. My guess is at night the tent hits a low of 62F but averages around 65F. The co2 bag has some awesome growth and Its Cleary producing co2 because this lady is praying towards her lights ! I 100% recommend using c02 bag for sure even though most places online will say its useless. DAY 40- Added tomato cage to help support it ! it is two feet exactly as of today! *New time lapse* 2/10/20- Took 2 cuttings for clones, she is a cool plant and id like to keep her genetics alive for breeding projects this summer =) lollipoped the bottoms a bit and defoliated the lower fan leaves as well. Temp is back to 80F and 38RH% 2/11/20- Did absolutely nothing but admire this beauty today ;) 2/12/20- Watered with Recharge (double the strength), Cal Mag, and Mammoth P at 6.5 Ph 2/13/20-NFTG mis flower feed

Buds start swallen and trichomes start cloudy but not yet amber.. Will let her to get amber 10% trichomes , and then start to flushing straight 2 weeks with ph-ed tap water 5.5. Hopefully by next week can start the flushing and finish this run. Cant wait🤞!!

Harvested at day 76, after 72h of darkness. Very good yield! 3.3 pounds of dry buds + 1 pound of trim The 2 keepers yielded 366 and 342g of premium quality smoke. Very uplifting and energizing high :) Love it!
