In week 9 my 'Fruity Terp' ladies have grown substantially and filled out the space in my HOMEBOX growtent. Therefore its time to do a round of defoliation. I take out my plants one by one and cut off the lowest branches on the stem (the ones not grown tall enough to get good light) and also the biggest fan-leaves (the ones shading the lower part of the canopy). The defoliation will increase the airflow thru my plants, which will in turn help to avoid mold from a build-up of humidity between the leaves. The light can now also penetrate deeper into the canopy now and therefore lower buds will also get more light and can grow bigger. The SANlight EVO4-120 LEDs are doing a GREAT job, my babies love their spectrum and intensity and grow like hell. The nutrients from BIO NOVA work EXCELLENT, all plants have a nice healthy green color. Since we are further in flowering now, I also add PK 13-14 from BIO NOVA following their 'SOIL-CULTIVATION' schedule.

Day 69 of flowering and still looking for the elusive Amber trichromes, they are 90% cloudy no amber 10% clear I will patiently wait I want to experience the more indica feel with these last few choice buds. Update Oct 19th 2017. Seen my first amber trich today, as I'm getting older I can't see through my loupe to view resin glands, so my wife showed me how too view them through pictures. All I can say is wow! She was able to zoom right in on them to get a good look. Maybe I will have to get a computer to show these fantastic shots I will uploaded ASAP YOU HAVE got to see them gorgeous girls see ya soon peace and love my brothers.

So the soil plants have reached the flushing stage. Hit the with the last dose of kleanse two days ago and then a big bath of straight ph water this evening. Will flush them for about another week. The plan is to cut the four soil plants down next weekend. The trichromes are all cloudy and starting to get some Amber’s. The buds especially the tops are all dense and sticky. All four plants even tho being same strain have very unique characteristics. But all have the same sticky gas smell. The frost production is pretty amazing with the cyco I was a little nervous about the bud density at first but they really packed weight in the last few weeks. The hydro plant is about a week behind but man is it big AF! It’s got as much bud as two of the soil plants easily! The roots have been kinda out of control but it will be fine with how late it is. The hydro buds already have more density I. The buds compared to where the soil plants were at this stage but so that is exciting. I have a good feeding of the flowering nutes in the res now. This girl is gonna have some gourgous colas bud sights everywhere colas starting to swell and stack she just got a big defoliation to expose all the bud sights and she was getting to bushy so she definitely needed it still getting recharge and bloom city another couple weeks of that and then I'll be getting ready for late flower then give her a carboload to increase them sugars upped her calmag cause I noticed in the 5 gallon pots they use more calmag in the middle of flowering keeping the pH at 6.2 this plagron green sensation is getting added in to the mix trichomes starting to get thick she is sticky and starting to get a little smell to her under canopy lighting is rocking and you can see it on the lower branches nice thick stalk so here's to another week of growing lfg

Lady Tartare is getting soooooo pretty. She has put on the most beautiful purple colours in both leaves and buds. Her buds have also gotten way more firm this last week and she starts smelling real good, she has e very fruity scent , very lemony. I hope she keeps this up for a lol while longer 💪💪💪

Update Sunday... hey guys uploaded a security cam footage of the blizt storm in the GTA.... ladies survived somehow... also did top dressing at 30tbs per 15 gal of 444 and 284 gaia green organic amendments. 70/30 ratio. Watered them in with dechlorniated, pH 6.2 and 60mL of molassas to 5 gals of water. Defoilated and did some maint pruning on growth under the main canopy. God bless. Hey folks, Well I got good new and some bad news. Last weekend, these ladies got thrashed by a thunderstorm.. break some branches along the way. Had enough time to splint the bent stems and they bounced back. Note that due to the storm, the pots got watered down pretty heavy... but to my surprise I let the ride out from Monday to Friday... and regretted that. I should of watered the ladies on Wednesday or Thursday, but found out the pots where extremely dry (also probable that the fabric pots are drying the medium out allot faster). The plants started to droop Friday afternoon. Also did a little lst but didn't want to over stress the plant that still recovering from the major storm. Iv watered each pot about 8L of molasas water @ 5mL/L and see how the soil and plant respond. Im going to check on them more frequently and prevent under-watering. So another week and some more thickening and ripening. The smell is like blueberry on one and the others are sweet as well. Slightly different smell to each. Watering when dry still at pH 6-6.6 and monitoring overall plant trichomes. At this point it's autopilot to the end. No more feeding with slow release and will slowly flush the remaining food out next few weeks. I like my trichomes to have some amber, not too much but mostly cloudy with some amber. Seems like most will be dense, except one plant I've called corona virus. It has smaller buds but are really resinous and smelly. Cheers and happy growing!

Hello. This is the last week for these plants. I don't know if I'll start harvest in the first 2 tents or in here first. Flip a coin I guess.... Turned down the lights to 60% yesterday. Getting ready for harvest the plants are getting a break from the intense lights. The plants are looking a bit more yellow as they pull what they need from the fanleaves as they mature before harvest. I'll show pre harvest pics next week. OK. Be Great... Chuck.

Flower has officially begun. This was the first full week under 12/12, and the stretch is already underway. The canopy had been trained flat before the flip and that structure is really starting to pay off now. Instead of a few dominant tops, the whole bed is pushing upward evenly and filling in with multiple strong leaders. During the week I made a few minor training adjustments to keep the canopy level and open up light penetration. The goal is an even field of colas rather than a few tall plants fighting for the light. I also turned on the AutoPot system for these plants this week. The difference was noticeable almost immediately, and they have started drinking much faster. Nutrient-wise I transitioned away from veg inputs and began using pre-bloom / transitional supplements to support the shift into flowering. Some older leaves still show slight yellowing along the margins, but the new growth is vigorous and healthy and the plants appear to be handling the transition well. I also captured a time-lapse during the week, which showed the canopy rising steadily and the plants tracking the light cycle with strong daily leaf movement. The stretch is officially underway and the bed is filling in nicely. Excited to see how these tops develop over the next couple weeks.
