30.4.25: This worked out very nicely 👌 I just found Ecothrives' new, Trace! I was looking for Cal-Mag with no NPK. I came across this, I'm genuinely so excited to get using this! Ecothrive has the best products, hands down. As fate would have it, the plants are looking pretty dry! I'm going to be watering with the Trace and Biosys. Let's see what happens 😁 6 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.1 contained: ♡ 3ml of Ecothrive Trace ♡ 1/4 Tsp (2.4ml) Ecothrive Biosys The plants received 3 litres of this feed each. PPM 475 PH 6.0. So after I watered, i decided to tie down a very large branch that had grown significantly taller than the rest of the canopy. It decided to bend instead. Luckily, it didn't snap. The outer membranes are all intact and unbroken. So I guess it needed a supercrop instead! 😅 I'm not worried at all, I just need to remember when I'm moving the pots around. Otherwise, it certainly will snap! 🤞 Let's see how we're looking in a few days after the first Ecothrive Trace application! 1.5.25: I mixed a foliar feed with my new Ecothrive Trace. I filled a 250ml spray bottle with dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0 with 4ml Ecothrive Trace. I used the entire bottle in 3 plants throughout the course of the day. The fan is very strong, so it didn't take long to dry. However, I did keep the lights dimmer to ensure no leaves were burnt. Additionally, I spent more time than I care to admit massaging the foliar spray into the leaves 😅 I also moved the LED lights up as Northern Lights is still stretching. Par was about 600-700. Which may be too much. I'll keep an eye on it. I also watered with 1.5 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0 to Northern Lights. I added 1/2 Tsp of Sea K(elp) by Greenleaf nutrients. PPM was 645. 2.5.25: I watered 1 litre today. With Greenleaf Nutrients Bud Explosion PK booster 1/2 Tsp dissolved in dechlorinated water PH'd to 5.9. Unless Northern Lights is a tidal wave 😅 So because the canopy is no longer uniform, the lighting is difficult to dial in. Which has never been my strong point. Her leaves are still very dark. I'm going to top dress with Ecothrive Life Cycle, but because of the darkness of leaves, I won't add the Ecothrive Charge. Which is mainly more vegetative growth needs. Which will contain more nitrogen, which we certainly don't need any more of at this stage. Plant top dressed with; ♡ 2 Tbs of Ecothrive Life Cycle ♡ 1 Cup Worm Castings ♡ 1 Cup Canna Coco ♡ 1.25 Cups Perlite I watered in with 2 ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 containing .25g of Ecothrive Biosys. This next week will just be monitoring of excess/ deficiency of nutrients and probably another foliar spray of the new Ecothrive Trace. I have removed a few fan leaves at the lower canopies. When I got into the room one day before I scheduled the harvest, her branch collapsed under the weight of the buds. Not surprising, the buds were massive and dense! This is one of the best problems to appear during a grow, could never be mad at a plant for lack of strength to support the massive buds. I decided to view it as a sign from the plant, that it's done, it had enough, so the harvest happened a day early. Her buds were too tall for my DIY Cooler and since the buds were so dense, it wasn't easy to get to the stem to cut it and since the buds were covered in trichomes, the gloves were super sticky. The genetics were pretty amazing to grow, super happy plant with amazing growth - thank you, @Exotic_Seed for the seeds! 🙏

Alle drei Damen wurden geerntet. (Hier zu Amnesia Haze) Am Ende haben die Blüten noch mal ordentlich zugelegt und wurden schön prall. Auch war die Blütenzeit kürzer als erwartet und die Trichome hatten sich nach 10 Wochen schön ausgebildet. Die Blüten sind schön Harzig und den Duft finde ich sehr angenehm.

🌱 Week 3 | Purple Haze Photo | Folder 6A | Building the Foundation Every phenotype tells its own story, and this Purple Haze is beginning to reveal exactly the kind of structure I was hoping to see. Looking back at the photographs from the beginning of the week and comparing them to where she stands today, the progress has been remarkable. The increase in leaf size, stem thickness, and lateral branch development shows that the plant has settled comfortably into her environment and is now entering a period of rapid vegetative growth. This diary is part of my Project Blue series, where every plant receives its own individual journal. Although they all share the same environment, nutrition, and cultivation method, documenting each phenotype separately allows me to observe the subtle differences that make every plant unique. Two seeds from the same pack can behave very differently, and that’s exactly what makes growing from seed so fascinating. Like every plant in this project, Purple Haze is being grown using the 12/12 From Seed method. Instead of giving the traditional vegetative light schedule, the plants receive a flowering photoperiod from the moment they emerge. This technique keeps the plants compact while still allowing them enough time to develop a strong structure before flowering naturally takes over. It’s an approach I enjoy because it produces efficient, manageable plants while still allowing each phenotype to express its personality. Throughout the week the environment remained extremely stable, providing the consistency young plants need to thrive. Environmental Conditions • Day temperature: 27°C • Night temperature: 25°C • Relative Humidity: 55% • Root Zone Temperature: 21°C • Nutrient Solution Temperature: 20°C • pH: 6.0 • EC: 1.3 • CO₂: approximately 666 ppm • Light Schedule: 12/12 • Average PPFD: 600–700 Maintaining these parameters allows the plants to dedicate their energy to healthy growth rather than constantly adapting to environmental fluctuations. Feeding Schedule This week the nutrition remained focused on root establishment and balanced vegetative growth using the Plagron Terra line: • Terra Grow — 1.8 ml/L • Power Roots — 1 ml/L • Pure Zym — 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L The goal isn’t to push maximum growth as quickly as possible but to encourage strong, healthy development while building a vigorous root system capable of supporting heavy flowering later in the cycle. A Beautiful Structural Evolution The difference between the first photographs of the week and the last ones is immediately noticeable. The stem has thickened considerably, becoming sturdy enough to support future flower production without any assistance. Internodal spacing remains tight, creating a compact plant with multiple future flowering sites already beginning to establish themselves. The leaves are broad, flat and richly coloured, showing no signs of nutrient deficiencies or environmental stress. New growth emerges with a healthy lighter green before maturing into the darker foliage characteristic of vigorous vegetative development. Perhaps the most exciting change is the development of the secondary branches. Each node is now pushing strong lateral shoots, giving the plant a naturally symmetrical structure that should translate into an even canopy during flowering. Why I’m Using Leaf Tucking Instead of Defoliation One of the techniques I’ve been using throughout the week is leaf tucking. Rather than removing healthy fan leaves, I simply tuck them underneath neighboring branches to expose the developing shoots hidden beneath the canopy. This offers several advantages: * More light reaches the lower branches. * Airflow improves naturally. * The plant keeps all of its solar panels, allowing maximum photosynthesis. * No recovery time is required because nothing is removed. Young plants need every healthy leaf they can keep. Fan leaves are the engines that drive growth, so whenever possible I prefer repositioning them instead of cutting them away. Defoliation can always come later if it becomes necessary, but at this stage gentle canopy management is more than enough. Looking Ahead Purple Haze is quickly becoming one of the strongest structured plants in the room. She has responded beautifully to the stable environment, balanced nutrition and simple canopy management. Every day she’s producing more side branches, larger leaves and a noticeably thicker main stem. If she continues at this pace over the coming weeks, she should enter flowering with an excellent framework capable of producing an even canopy and plenty of well-positioned bud sites. Sometimes the best training isn’t about bending, topping or cutting—it’s simply about giving the plant everything it needs and then getting out of its way. A huge thank you to Plagron, Zamnesia, GrowDiaries, and everyone following this Project Blue adventure. Mr. Baggy made his usual inspection this week and left with a big smile. According to him, Purple Haze has officially entered her “future forest” phase, and judging by the way she’s growing, it’s hard to disagree. Growers Love 🌱🛍️

April 26, 2024 Day 71 This week we focus on watering and nutrients. A secondary focus will be on a changing environment and light intensity changes. Both ladies had their reservoirs cleaned out and have fresh nutrients. It's also the start of late flower, so things will be changing with the nutrient dosage. I'll most likely keep the nutrients the same for this week, but I may start to drop the dosage a little for each watering until the flush period starts. So depending on how they look, I may change the dosage for this week's last watering. I'll be bringing it down 25%. So 8 ml goes down to 6 ml and 4 ml goes down to 3 ml. I'll change this for the next 2 weeks until it's just plain water for 2 waterings and then Flawless Finish. It should play out quite well. The lighting will also be changing a bit this week. I'll be dropping the DLI to 43 mol/m²/d mid week and will then lower it to 40 mol/m²/d beginning next week. I'll then drop it to 36 mol/m²/d the week after and finally 32 mol/m²/d for the final week. The environment will also be dropped from 77° to 75° during the day and from 68° to 65° at night. The humidity is solid at 47% and I think that's the best I can do for the rest of the grow. Both plants look great. They have tons of orange pistils and tons of trichomes. I'll be taking trichome pics every few days. One for each plant. I feel like it'll be a better comparison than daily pics. For the trichomes anyway. Anyway, they both still have time to swell their buds more. I'm not expecting big buds from these two. Medium sized maybe, but definitely not big. They just don't look like they will get that big. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.2° RH: 47.7% VPD: 1.49 kPa April 27, 2024 Almost all of the pistils are orange now on both plants, but the buds are still swelling. Interesting. I'll be taking trichome pics today at some point. I was going to yesterday, but got distracted with video games. Whoops. There's tons of trichomes. They are definitely frosty and continuing to get frostier. Nothing much to do today. Each plant got an inspection and passed with flying colors. There were some loose tie downs as well. Mostly from the crowding in the tent. So those got removed. Tropicana Cookies is looking super good now with her buds being everywhere and them swelling up finally. She could stand to get a few leaves taken off, but I'd rather just leave it alone now. No sense in undue stress. Tropicana C also looks great. She has to be the biggest of the two. Not the tallest, but definitely the most girthy. Lots of buds and also starting to finally swell up. I'd also like to mention the colors coming from both plants where the buds are nearly done. Lots of purple hues. You can't really see them from the small sugar leaves and frost covering it. But it's there. The lighting as I said will stay the same for the first half of this week. Then I'll drop it. However, I may leave it to next week. We shall see. The environment is looking pretty good. The temp is a bit high currently at 77.8°. the humidity is still at 47%, but I managed to get it down to 44% for most of yesterday afternoon. The DLI is a bit high today at 1.66 kPa. Nothing a small adjustment won't fix. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.5° RH: 45.7% VPD: 1.55 kPa April 28, 2024 Not a lot going on today. I'll be refilling the reservoirs later this afternoon. That's about it. I have a bit of a concern. Both ladies have really small buds, and I think they may have stopped swelling. I'm wondering if I have nutrient lockout or something. They are showing signs of stress. So I've already started dropping the nutrients down by cutting Overdrive in half as it seemed to have been the original cause of the nutrient burn. And the next watering will have all nutrients cut in half. Next week I'll drop it to 25% and leave it til flush, which may be next week anyway. We shall see. Other than that, both plants are covered in trichomes. They smell wonderful as well. Like orange and some other light citrus and gas. Smells super good as well as sweet. There is also a hint of cookies. The DLI will be dropped to 40 mol/m²/d tomorrow. I'm assuming it will only be a 10% drop on power, so I shouldn't lose much penetration. The environment is off today. It's warm and super humid with bouts of rain. So naturally, the tent environment is all wonky. The temp is at 75.5° with the humidity way up at 60%. I turned the AC on and now it's just a matter of tweaking and waiting. I may have to crank it and sacrifice some temp for lower humidity. It should be fine that way, but the humidity is definitely too high. Update: I ended up adding about a half gallon of plain water to both reservoirs. Just Incase I have nutrient lockout or something. They should go through that by tomorrow afternoon. Maybe late evening. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.6° RH: 52.8% VPD: 1.39 kPa April 29, 2024 No watering today. The plants are both still going through the half gallon of plain water from yesterday. Let's hope it clears up the nutrient burn. They look great with their trichome coverage. The only thing I'm pretty disappointed about is the size of the buds for both plants. I wonder what I did wrong. I'm guessing the introduction to Overdrive was about 2 weeks too early. Removing the Big Bud was also a major mistake I think. It should have stayed in the mix for 2 more weeks. Lesson learned, make adjustments to any feeding schedule to match the plants growth stage. Maybe I'll ask that question. The lighting was changed today. I dropped the power level down to 70% to get a DLI of 40 mol/m²/d. It's not perfect as the plants do not have level canopies, so some of the spots go all the way up to 45 mol/m²/d still. It's not a bad thing I think. The DLI was a bit high for those tops anyway. The environment is still wonky. The temp is fine at 76° to 77°. A bit high from what I want, but not out of range. I'd still like it down to 75° or 74°. The humidity is what's out of whack at 60% and it doesn't seem to want to drop. I have a heater on to clear out the room humidity and a dehumidifier in the tent working it's hardest. Which isn't very hard. I believe the fans are going on it. It may be time for another one. Something the same size but more powerful. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.2° RH: 59.8% VPD: 1.15 kPa April 30, 2024 Watering day. Both ladies got their full gallon of nutrients. I'm going to cut it when it drains down some with plain water. Both plants look good even though they have small buds. They are everywhere and seem pretty dense. So it's just a matter of time. Maybe another 2 weeks. Maybe less. Hopefully less. The nutrient burn was an issue, but now I think it's good. I dropped the Overdrive significantly, but I think I can plainly say, I have ruined my yield for these two plants. Lesson learned. Plain water at the first signs of stress. The scent is super strong now and smells like oranges and candy. Or something like that. All I know is that it smells great. The lighting is pretty good. No reaching yet, so it's definitely not too low. I may just leave it here for the rest of the grow. I read that lights don't need to be dimmed for autoflowers. It could be right. I've never dimmed the lights before. We shall see I guess. The environment is still wonky with the humidity being high still at 57%. I can control the temp pretty easily, but the humidity will not budge. I'll keep trying. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.5° RH: 57.0% VPD: 1.26 kPa May 1, 2024 Nothing to do today with these two. No watering needed, no light changes, nothing. I pulled them out, tooky pictures and checked them over. No issues pest or fungus or anything. The only issue I have is the nutrient burn. Some of the leaves are getting yellow spots on them and frankly I have no idea what to do here. Keep the nutrients the same? Cut the nutrients down some over the next week or 2? Go with plain water? Not too sure. I still see many stresses. And I think that is the cause of my tiny buds. It seems that I did take the Big Bud out too early and added the Overdrive way too soon. Oops. Lesson learned with this run. I don't think it's a matter of an over abundance of nutrients, but the wrong ones at the wrong time when the plants weren't ready for it. I'm guessing that's what has happened here. Both ladies smell fantastic. Super sweet and strong. Crisp, and not pungent. Refreshing even. Tropicana Cookies has some pretty hard buds and lots of them. Of course, larger buds are preferred, but as long as these come out fire, I'll be happy. Her branches also seem to be holding up nicely. Tropicana C on the other hand has weaker branches and the tallest top is starting to lean pretty heavily. A great sign for bud density. Both plants have phenomenal trichome production. It's getting better everyday. Tons of clear with a mix of cloudy and amber, definitely not ready yet, but soon I think. Very soon. Maybe another week and a half? Maybe 2. As I said before, I didn't change the lighting at all. It's current DLI is 40 mol/m²/d through most of the central canopy. The outside of the canopy is roughly 38 mol/m²/d. So it's all good now. The environment is still wonky with the humidity being at 59%. It's maddening. The room is 49% and the temp is fine at 75°. I'll sacrifice up to 77° if I can get the humidity around 50%. Not ideal for this stage in life, but it will have to do of I can even get it there. I do have a large dehumidifier, but it doesn't work right. When the compressor shuts off, it blows are that humid air right back into the room. I need a new one. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.2° RH: 56.1% VPD: 1.27 kPa May 2, 2024 Not a lot going on today. No watering, no trimming, nothing. I did change the light last night to 80% power. Tropicana Cookies looks great! She has purple coming out all over her buds. No fade yet though. I can assume that will be coming through in the next week or so. Her tops buds are getting slightly fatter and heavier than before. I hope it will continue to do so over the next 2 weeks. Tropicana C is slightly behind. She doesn't have nearly as many orange pistils and the purple is just starting to come through. However, she has tons of trichomes covering everything top to bottom. Her buds are about the same size as her sister, so they may end up swelling bigger than Tropicana Cookies when all is said and done. We shall see. As I said earlier in today's post, I changed the light power from 70% back up to 80%. I think I dropped it too early and need to adjust it accordingly. I'll drop it again in a week or so. Maybe less. Now the DLI is at 43 mol/m²/d inside and 40 mol/m²/d on the outside. The environment is still off, but not as much. The humidity continues to be high, but only at 55% verses the 60% it's been stuck at for the last few days. The temp is fine at 74.5°, but I think I can increase that a bit and hopefully drop the humidity down in turn. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.7° RH: 55.2% VPD: 1.24 kPa

Harvested plants #5 and #9 at day 70. The rest of them still have a week or 2 to go. #8 is the size of a 24 oz beer can. She's freaking thicc #2 is throwing out monster sized buds. Plant #9 that I harvested, looks very similar to all of the sour d pics online. She smells like something died. Week 19 and it happens to be a rainy week with on and off cloud coverage which was actually beneficial to my plant but the humidity has been up due to the fact I also use a swamp cooler and if it's gonna be this humid for another couple days then I'm worried about mold developing on the buds so i think I'll break out the AC to get rid of some of that moisture in the air and maybe alternate between the two. The AC hasn't been used once the whole grow cycle so far but living in AZ we get random storms from the monsoon season not to mention tons of dust, high winds, flash flooding which could be used to flush my plant because it needs it now if rain builds up around and gets under the green house, j/k lol. I've been thinking about buying lady bugs to get rid of all the white flies, any experience anybody, would that work? After writing the above, I could hear the wind picking up outside and remembered that a storm was coming so I ran outside to prepare and it punched it's way through Phoenix with extremely high velocity hurricane type wind, gusting up to whatever it takes to bring large trees down or make a wooden shed door fly off with a wall of dust to the sky and then finally finishing with heavy rain. I was outside the entire storm from beginning to end, well at least until the wind died down and it was just light showers by then. Even with having my greenhouse tied down I had to hold onto it for dear life or it would have taken off like in the wizard of OZ. Honest to god I was almost pulled off the ground or several times more onto my greenhouse when the tsunami type wind would hit, pounding me and the greenhouse from behind having to pull down while leaning back with all my weight and strength.The whole time I'm screaming for my brother who was inside to come out and hold the greenhouse so I could tie it down better because it was just coming apart trying trying to fly away or be ripped apart as storm hit us I was holding on for Amy's Green Drop's dear life. It was pretty insane and wish I had video of me doing it but just have a video a friend sent of his backyard getting hit so you can imagine that wind hitting my greenhouse. The after math was bad 😭 the wall of the greenhouse was getting hit so hard by the wind making it press inward towards plant it snapped off in the middle one of the lower branches making the two buds on the end half hanging there from a 90 degree angle from branch so I knew there was no way to support it back in place enough to heal itself so I clipped it off and started drying it. One other next to it got bent up pretty bad so I'm trying to LST it back to place. The storm also killed my swamp cooler somehow, I guess it's because it has a lot of electronic components on top that was soaked from the wind the rain came from the side, I know, you'd think a swamp cooler could get wet. Now I'm stuck using only my A/C and a humidifier to control moisture and temp and I'm worried it's gonna be pretty hard only using AC in such a small greenhouse as it takes time to find the right ratio of intake and outtake air but can only open greenhouse to mix in so much hot dry air, so starting it was getting down into the high 60's, and I have to figure something out because I can't let it get that cold in there for the last few weeks. I'm almost ready to call it quits If I can't find an equilibrium with AC and humidifier, and if there are anymore storms on the way. Next time I'm getting a bigger sturdier greenhouse that goes into the ground and has hard clear walls and roof, other than the recent storm and excessive sunlight finding the right shading it's been very beneficial doing the indoor/outdoor combo grow and would recommend it as you can live in any weathered extreme hot/cold climate and still grow outside,
