I guess I first have to extend a big thank you to James and the folks at RQS. The genetics of their “Northern Light” did not disappoint and this was a no fuss grow across all categories. This will be the only time you hear me refer to Northern Lights in the singular. It’s kinda like calling a “pickerel” a “walleye” - you just don’t do that up here😉. She took well to training, showed no signs of lockout or deficiency, and we were at the top limits of botanicare’s recommended feeding schedule the whole time. I’d call this typical NL - the scent wasn’t overly powerful, she grew somewhat squat and while I’m actually very surprised at the final weigh (thought it would be much less), the whole grow was typical of the strain in my experience. Possibly her biggest limiting factor was simply space constraints. The photos pretty obviously demonstrate that she got really crowded out by the neighbouring kush and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if she’d have done a little better with some more room. That said, what isn’t “typical” are the effects. RQS touts this as a cup winner and I can see why. Had the opportunity to sample a little and WHOA! She Hits with a lasting, cerebral and euphoric effect that starts as a light, happy high. Not a crippling or dulling effect at all. Just everything you’d expect from a well rounded strain in general. Perfect. I almost wanna describe it as a classic sativa but I’ve been smoking nothing but a pure indica for so many months now that anything different is gonna feel that way 😂. Thank Christ for some new stash diversity: 1:! Many, many thanks to all those who cared to comment, suggest or converse on this one. It’s been a pleasure hearing from everyone and I did what I could to keep ‘er interesting : 1:. 01/03/22 Watered plants 2L of nutrient water each , assessed plants to determine what LST I'm doing, looks like these plants have potential to be monsters. Let's hope I don't fuck it up now. 01/01/22 Topped and defoliation was done, didn't water that day even though they needed it I wanted to give them a day or two from the stress they went through, watching to make sure they didn't wilt. Its paying of not listening to my ocd mind thinking I need to do something everyday, I didn't even want to top them, but they where looking very kushy type of plant. And I have trellis going in later two tiers. 01/08/22 Did a full water threw tested run off , it's sitting 800ppm above what I'm feeding, next watering straight 6.0ph water. Lights at 💯%

Day 9 above soil: The Dreamgirls have been slow and steady this week but at least steady.lol They are the smallest of the strains in general size and there is a noticeable difference. They are not concerning me at all just a lot smaller at this stage. All the factors are identical within the crop so I am sure they will take off soon enough. They had a small feed today too so hopefully will start fattening out

Day day 21, Gave her on day 20 her first Bio tabs compost tea combined with Bio tabs Orgatrex and some Bio tabs Bactrex and BAC funky funghi for that extra 🌺 power. To be continued Growmies 🌱

So I have spider mites. I screwed up so much i think this is going 15 weeks. Lost coast to the rescue! time to finish these buggers off

Victory over the moth larvae. Removed them with pipe cleaners. Still spraying Monterey BT. No new larvae holes. Reinforced several plants with velcro tape. The flowers are becoming heavy. The scent is overpowering. Sugar Cane is extraordinarily heavy and the flowers have not yet begun to swell. Gorilla Glue 4 is heavy and the branches have started to bend outward from the weight. All three were reinforced. Garlic Z is not a large plant and the buds are behind all the rest in progress but the flowers are close and compact.

Bio Tabs NL. vs. Weedefix (Stuttgart/ Germany) Hier im Weedefix Grow haben wir nun nach 29 Tagen des Einpflanzens eine Höhe von 45 cm Erreicht. Im Wachtum lässt sich vermutlich beobachten, dass die Weedefix Komponenten etwas mehr performen, da die Pflanze insgesamt etwas buschiger und schneller im Wuchs ist. Das nur Mal zum jetzt feststellen. Dadurch dass mir bei der anderen Pflanze ein Seitentrieb abgebrochen ist, habe ich der Fairness wegen bei dieser Pflanze den Trieb an der gleichen Stelle ebenfalls abgeschnittenen. Diese Woche, habe ich mit Wasser und 5ml Wachstum (Ferment mit Melasse und Hefeextrakten) gegossen. Und es zeichnet sich bereits ein stärker werdendes Aroma ab. Week 1 flower and the 4x8 tent is already full 😱 1xplant in Coco coir 15gallons pot 1xplant in HPpromix 15 gallons pot 3x in coco peak 7gallon with Autopot system 2x Aelius led 300gh 1x 600w hps vivosun 4x8 grow tent vivosun

- Humidity has been high in Berlin again but I managed to control it way better with the arrival of dehumidifier but still can not manage to bring it to lower 50%s. - VPD fluctuated this week between 1,0 and 1.55 kPa, averaging at 1,25 kPa. - Tent temperature fluctuated around 23 at night and 28 Celsius at day time, averaging at 26.3. Higher than last week… - Humidity did not fluctuate as it used to but still way higher than ideal range, averaging at 63.4. - This week, Medium Ph got back to normal of 6.3. I am now giving standard 6.4 Ph Water. - Both plants keep frosting day on day. - Stickiness and smell keep getting stronger. - So far, both seem to like their environment despite the high humidity and temperature.

Added Exhale c02 and top dressed in each pot with 1 tablespoon per gallon of growing medium my pots are 3.6. I added 3 tablespoons. It is my hopes that with adding the slow release dry amendments and once the c02 bag sarts growing my plants will finally grow. They are short but have 4 nodes at day 21. What is an exhale c02 bag? “The ExHale bag is a patented strain of mycelium that produces an abundance of CO2 without fruiting. This means that when our bag is activated, the mycelium grows, eating the substrate it comes with, giving off heaps of CO2 straight into your garden, and it does all this for 6 months - guaranteed!” At day 25 I am not impressed with the size of these girls? Hope they hit a growth spurt soon? Their internodes are stacked very nicely. At day 28 growth is very slow. Practically none existent since my top dressing at day 23. 2 plants have received a very minimal nutrient burn. As I do not have a soil ph tester? I will be watering with a ph of 6.0 rather than 6.5, hopefully that helps. ONWARD!
