Week 5: A little yellowing on the leaves this week. We believe we have a Mag deficiency. Will adjust when watering. Did a flush due to this as well with Cal/Mag in the water. Defoliation: We took a lot more off this week due to the growth spurt. LST: using paper clips for LST and it is working amazingly. They have really adjusted well to it. Height (inches): GSC1 21.5; GSC2 15.5; GSC3 15; Delight 17 7.19.22: The back left GSC grew 3 inches overnight - crazy!!! Raised the light to accommodate it and placed the other girls on a box to be at her level.

OK So had some non plant related as well as plant related issues this week. Been hectic with personal life, and still finding my groove with the girls .. I decided against any sort of training .... get it you can maximaxe and all but m all about letting them do their thing with some love and help, i feel like the hst and defoliation is just not for me at present time. If i get into commercial i definately see the advantages... All seeds came from AMAZING NORTH ATLANTIC SEED COMPANY .... ZERO issues ordering , shipping and popped 7 for 7 seeds even with some pretty disasterious goofs , see week 1 1. Struggled with Lighting - Definatly had the California Lightworks Solar Extreme TOO CLOSE .. now keeping a good 24 inches and will adjust soon with flowering 2. Struggled with PH - My well water is great .. low PPM and 7.0 ph . BUT i use ph down it seems each day with the top off water to bring the girls down from 6.5 - 6.8 to a nice 5.9-6.0 Eariier not too bad as the girls were not drinking so much ... which leads me to next 3. THEY ARE DRINKING BOY ... Holy cow this week they became drinkers liike i did not expect. I run my lights 2 pm to 8 am and turn off until 2 pm each day .... I top off in the morning before i put them to sleep , the bigger girls ... 4 of the glue gelatos autos are drinking almost half gallon each per day atm . While my lil girls <caramel cream autos > are much shorter and i have one gelato glue auto on the smaller side . They do not drink nearly as much maybe a quart . 4. I goofed on the BLOOM, I did not expect bloom so early i was planning on this week to start them .... but nope showed signs of sulfur deficiency , caught it early and changed the feeding to bloom cycle and WOW they took the hell off ... Have TREMENDOUS growth in past week sinced changed cycle ... Again im following FAST BUDS auto feeding chart for expert for general hydro to the T and adding HYDROGUARD 5. I have one caramel cream auto with mag deficiency signs on some bpottom fan leaves but i believe i got that fixed when i did the water change, not sure why just her , unless i goofed on the bucket mix. Which brings me to next statement ... IM INVESTING IN A GDAM 13 GALLON x 8 bucket plus RES kit for next grow ... Doing and maintaining 7 buckets is a royal pain in the ass . I honestly only expected 4 plants out of the 7 . AND expected fully i would kill something along the way I am visually impaired and BRain Tumor Dude .. so i gots some issues sometimes . .. but if you check out the videos i post in a bit here you can see, WTF i am doing ok i feel like . Great looking plants from my amateur opinion , always room for improvement as i am super critial of everything i do OCD/ADHD glorious combo BUT YES a better setup is needed for ease of use .. I bought my complete setup at PA HYDROPONICS , meaning my BUCKETS with fittings and hydroton . 200 bucks could not find better price anywhere he does a great fallponics custom build with 3 inch pvc that i have seen in action and tis a thing of beauty for us home growers. Plus i can add a small chiller to the mix to keep that temp a tad bit lower. IT about an 800 dollar upgrade BUT for the rest of my setup it belongs : vivosun 4x9 tent Ac Infinity T8 x 2 <one for vent one for blower , also have a great merv 13 filter box from ac infinity so as not to such in yuck from basement. 2 california solar extreme 550 So i figure adding an 8 bucket fallponics to fill the tent would look so much better tahn my 5 gallons and the constant checking each one and filling etc .... Having the res would be nice I also see the cons of it as if you goof you goof on all not just one .... But i m fairly certain i will upgrade. ***************** So right now it looks like nice buds are starting to form on all 7, the Glue Gleatos are much taller and full than the caramel creams ... I am tracking water being added and at this rate will need another change over in a day or two if drinking 1/2 gal a day and about 3 gallons <12 liters> labout inch from bottom of net pot. Rule of thumb being water change to replace nutes when you replace a volume equal to the total volume ... which is about every 6 days , last water change being 8/7 I will post some more when i inspect the ladies when i turn on the lights at 2 pm First time grower in setu

Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. The Nutrients I will start with just adding 6.4 PH water, although this soil should buffer ph itself and regulate, after 4 weeks, I'll slowly be adding: - Biobizz Grow - Plagron Alga Grow - Biobizz CalMag - Biobizz Flower - Plagron Alga Flower - Biobizz Topmax - Melasses The Tea Some of you might remember the permaculture tea from my previous grow, I have a short video in my harvest page showing how we make it), it will star again in this grow. - (Rain)water - Comfrey (whole plants) - Dandelion leaves - Roots and leaves from the earlier grow - Minor periwinkle (Finca minor) is a plant we have in our garden, it contains an alkaloid that is associated with increased brain function but also is a light toxin for wee beasties and other unwanted guests like gnats (who hate it). - When flowering I add some wood ash to this mix Thank you for checking in on one of my grows again! Day 25. Slowly, but they are starting to grow. Weather is perfect, mostly showers, warm, no too intence sun, so i believe they should kick in. Girls got BioBizz Leaf Coat shower. Everytime i go to my spot this year i meet this fellow ;))) Happy Growing !!!

Ultimately I want to go full organic but time is life's richest commodity, so it will probably be a few seasons before I get their. Also I don't have a drying setup which is a problem for this next run which is in week-1 rn (I go week one staring veg in my calendar). For drying / curing, I'm looking at fitting out a second hand wine fridge as I cant spend heavy on the Cure Puck or any of those auto fridge setups. Who knows maybe they come down in price. It was poured once with about 200 ml because it is still under the hood with very high humidity that is enough :-). Next week the hood will be opened bit by bit so that it can get used to the surroundings :-). Otherwise the tent was cleaned and the humidifier refilled every day this week. Week 7 for Fuel D.OG by seedsman One of my favourites of this season... so much so I've decided to flower her indoors instead of putting her outdoors as planned. She will probably get 2/3 more weeks of veg before going into flower anyway. Shes being fed a heavy watering every 2 days. She's also got 26 tops ATM, don't think ill be topping again unless i have space to do so. Will still be pulling her apart more just letting these tops grow up a little & when i transplant her to 25L ill pull her sideways. Have a new LED light coming in this week to handle the temps of the summer better. No more yellowish looking photos 😂

This past week has been a blast! After getting these ladies nutrition straightened out, they are thriving!💚🌱💚 I gave defoliated wayyy more than what I see other growers traditionally doing. After the "3rd and final haircut" I defoliated two more times 😅 Thank you the GD community for the support and resources along the way 🙏 My only concern now is the tent actually becoming too crowded.😆. Starting to ease up on the feed now going into week 7 of flower. The buds are really starting to bulk up in size and the smell is still increasing into a sweeter aroma as they develop further. More defoliation again this week, unfortunately I needed to remove a few too many underdeveloped buds from one of the smaller plants to help improve airflow and help prevent damp developing around the denser areas of the plant. I plan to add another fan this week to help increase air circulation in general. Keeping a close eye on the trichome development now as they finish up. ✌️

Day 78 Day 28 flower 19/07/24 Friday Started the week with a good watering as she had a double feed end of last week. She took 4L de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 and no run off, added another 1L and see run off forming on all sides. She is a happy, strong 💪 plant !! The buds development is nice on this strain! I like to see the calyxes stacked like this, I'll get some macros tomorrow. Smelling like lemon sherbet it's insane 🤯 or a old school sweety shop. Day 79 Day 29 flower 20/07/24 Saturday Nothing to report. Day 80 Day 30 Flower 21/07/24 Sunday Big feed again, de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 added nutrients. Seeing her stack now 🤩 Smells getting stronger daily 🙌 💚 Added a short video. Day 81 Day 31 Flower 22/07/24 Monday De-chlorinated tap water only today pH 5.9 and watered in 5L had a little run off. She is getting so thirsty it's awesome! She is starting to stack them calyxes. Update on pictures and video 📸🤩 Day 82 Day 32 Flower 23/07/24 Tuesday FEED again today , De-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Full 5L had about 300ml run off. She is so thirsty !! 5L a day now. But it's showing, calyxes are stacking beautifully, the trichomes production is nice and starting to have a magical effect with flash 📸 🤩 Day 83 Day 33 Flower 24/07/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Did 4L and started to see run off so left at that. Day 84 Day 34 Flower 25/07/24 Thursday END OF WEEK She really has packed on weight this week, thirst and hunger is hard to keep up 😅 Smells phenomenal, looks insane. Pic+Vid update
