This week things are booming.. Just watering every time soil is dry.

I was asked to show the whole plant 🌱 For the first 3 weeks I grew it in a 4 inch pot. When I discovered it was a female and it had really nice purple flowers , I transplanted it to a 1 gallon bag. It was intentionally meant to stay small and not branch out much. This is how I manage breeding large numbers. Structure is still easy to determine this way, I just watch which plants show prominent node growth compared to others. Both this girl and her purple male counterpart had great node growth. I select plants for structure. I watch how much effort each plant puts into its nodes. This plant has excellent structure. I intentionally stunted its growth due to my limited space and because I was dealing with large numbers of plants to find this one! I will continue to grow them small so I can explore all the seeds. I have a lower number of seeds than I had hoped for due to male freakshows being really pathetic pollinators and it being my first time working with male freakshows! I’ll be ready this time. I hope I find this exact massive bud pheno again!

i decidet to let the plant dry out before harvest to give her some stress. I also reduced the light intensity. The smell of the Pheno #1 is funkier and louder compared to the other but the smoke will have the final word. No fertilizer the last 2 weeks of flower.

With the majority of trichomes now turned milky with some turning Amber, i have decided to begin a 10 day flush using nothing but ph balanced water. Doing a shorter than normal flush as the plants with deficiencies don't have much nutes to use up.

Thc bomb is coming towards the end soon. Trichromes are starting to turn, but still early. The bud is still putting on weight so likely will feed this week and reassess thru the week. Experiencing a few minor sign from giving a low dose of nitrogen. That is ok the plant has a lot of stored energy. Plus it is close to done. Hello this is the end of week 3 and the beginning of week 4 of veg. These girls seem a little wilty, The soil is wet. I think the light might be a bit too strong for them. It's at 45% I'll turn it down 5% and see how they are tomorrow. They look good though. Nice green leaves. I'm topping them this week to get more tops going. And they get a tomato cage each too, to push the branches out and something to tie the big bud to. OK. Have Fun Out There. Chuck.

Beginning of week 5. Very happy with what is happening, no problems whatsoever. Buds are fattening up. Northern light is like on steroids and will become one massive bud, gorillas and dance world look more sativa dominant. Tons of trichomes, very sticky. Baby autogorilla is still shy so I topped her :) for the rest of the plants in veg I will create another journal.

Drying is over, now it goes into the jars. No Problem with mold while drying and growing.

Put the plants in a environment (-> tent) where I could control temp. and humidity better. Plants #2 and #3 moved from their 200ml pots into 8L fabrics on day 25. Could have waited a few days with that, since barely any roots where visible. Applied some Dynomyco and water with very low amount of Hesi TNT to all plants on day 25. At about this point my excitement grew, since growth was finally accelerating and a little smell proofed that this was at least the right kind of plant. Slowly introduced the GCxSolo at about 35cm distance on day 19 and increased its output from 25-100% over 2 weeks.

12/10/18 Day 54 Not long left now, started the flush 4 days ago but I feel as if I might have left it a little too late. Looking to harvest day 60, some of the trichomes are cloudy but the buds have swollen quite a bit and the calyxes are retracting more and more daily. Not too worried about the relatively short flush since I didn't really go overboard with the nutes but I'd like to get the colours to fade a little before chopping, even if this means pushing it to day 64-65.

Merry Christmas everyone from Sunshine and me! Thank you for following another update and I hope you and yours are enjoying yourselves! She is still filling out her bud sites and the buds have grown considerably so in my case she seems more of a late-bloomer, she is covered in trichomes and smells like exotic fruit. Removed some more leaves, she had some more humid areas that could go moldy. Started only giving plain water since a couple of days. The previous time with the final shot of perma tea. She is clearly ending her run and my guess is that the soil still has high nute level, coming days will start flushing with more water I don't know if I can give her days of darkness since shell probably go first. Bertha is the weakest of my six plants. Final LST done day 36. Day 37: More of the same. Bertha's days are numbered. Day 39: I've just about had enough. This plant has been utterly disappointing. Day 40: Almost pulled her yesterday. However until or unless I desperately need the space I've decided to let her trundle along. I think <10g is the potential yield at this point. However I've been surprised before. In my first grow I had bare sticks that yielded 60 and 70g dry so who knows? Day 41: Slight smell. Smells good... Bertha has a reprieve. Day 42: End of the week for tiny Bertha she's fully flowering for sure but not much is happening. I might drop down to weekly updates for this lady, I am less and less interested in her. Looking back on this grow, I predicted in week 1 (day 7) that she would be stunted, so I do not know why I have allowed myself any anxiety around this grow. The only reason that I had some encouragement was because Karen recovered so well, but I did not damage Karen's roots on day 7... really of all the various mistakes in this grow, that was the one that was most impactful. With that said, I do think I was sent a runty little seed. Anyway, I am calm about Bertha now... she will do what she will do. My only slight irritation is that she is in a 40l pot and she would probably be fine in a 10l pot. I have space for 3 more big pots... I have two Auto Purple OG Punch germinating (fingers crossed), and they will get a pot each and the final pot will contain some new F1 seeds from Royal Queen Seeds. So Bertha is safe, I am already growing more plants than I planned to and I have to stop somewhere or I will end up with plants coming out of my ears.
