EC schrittweise auf 1.3 - 1.4 Die ersten 4 Tage im Video kaum Wachstum (war unterwegs)...Blumat war verstopft...Blätter sind unheimlich dünn geworden und die untersten großen verwelkt...ab Mitte der Woche 4 konnte ich eingreifen...danach bissl manuell LST (mit der Hand gebogen) betrieben und entlaubt...bissl später scrog Netz spannen und Pflanze schön in die Breite ziehen. Im Großen und Ganzen hat sich die Pflanze wieder schnell erholt und gedeiht weiter. Heute auf 12h umgestellt (bin schon ganz aufgeregt...SF1000 raus und SF2000 rein(füllt die gesamte Breite des Zeltes aus😬)...zunächst ca. 45 cm Abstand und 80% trotzdem Photonen schon ca. 40% mehr...in paar Tagen gehe ich auf 100%...habe auch Seitenlampen (Niello T8) bereits installiert aber noch nicht eingeschaltet...evtl. wird das zuviel aber ich experimentiere halt gern...3 Optionen...die Pflanze geht dann richtig ab...Sie geht ein...oder es beeinflusst nichts ausser Stromrechnung.

May 11: wildfire smoke rolled in this morning for the first time this year. Last year was horrible but hopefully this year won’t be as bad. Today was stay inside the house sort of bad smoke but it’s supposed to blow over soon. Hope. Plant looks good and happy in the final container. May 12: took out a couple of small cedars and I have a new sunniest spot in the yard, or at least for the next 12 weeks or so. Today’s sunlight is like what it will be like in early August (6 weeks to solstice). May 16: cool and rainy today but some sun at the end. She’s still doing great, and definitely better than most of my previous starts. I think I had the soil too wet before, or maybe the apple thing actually works. Either way she’s off to a good start and we’re on schedule with the May long weekend coming up. May 17: cool and rainy all day. Left plant in the mini-greenhouse all day.

Update Day 14 Flowering: Wow this girl has fought her way into my affections this week. Her stacking nodes are impressive and so not like her mothers growth. I can see how they will stack and grow quiet well now and am hopeful of her yield. For 2 weeks old , she is doing great and to say how long she was held back ect.. ,doing even better. Still no signs of any issues or deficiencies so all good. Lets see gow she copes this week with the heatwave.

This week she's exploded in growth I've done some LST I've used pipe cleaners to spread her out and pulled down some branches, the marshydro TSW-2000 is on 75% . living soils organic amendments are doing the job I've not used any liquid ferts or anything apart from a tiny bit of black strap molasses and happy with results so far

At the start of week 8 all 3 girls are showing preflowers! They have started stretching a good amount. I will apply nutrients on day 5 just before I leave for vacation. I added 5ml of Flying Skull Z7 to my reservoir. On day 3 of week 8 I added another 5 gal bucket reservoir for my Blumats, which will work through a siphon to essentially raise my reservoir volume to 10 gal for my upcoming vacation. I defoliated the centers of each plant to improve light penetration and airflow. On day 4 of week 8 I took clones from each Pheno. On day 5 of week 8 I applied weekly nutrients. I also filled up and adjusted the PH of my 2- 5 gal reservoirs in preparation for vacation tomorrow (I adjusted the PH to 5.5 in hopes that it will naturally drift up over the week I'm gone to no higher than 6.5). I wont have much updates until the 15th of April 😳🙏 (I will post pics from my security camera while I'm away)

Scratch what I said at the end of last week pests are still around just had some bug fly at me and bite/sting me on the neck now a got a welt on my neck smh, not sure what the heck it was it was some sort of black bug maybe a thrip but I honestly have no idea, did another neem oil drench on the medium only and tomorrow I'm going to use a hydrogen peroxide mixture again that way I can also use it on the tops and undersides of the leaves as well. Some of the roots started to become exposed on the top soil so I added more an inch or two coco to cover the exposed roots. Another successful week I guess the plants aren't dead so onto week 9, Week 4 of flower

Week 8 of flower... swelling up great... smelling beautifully... trichomes are getting cloudier. Will check again next Monday and see if she needs to go another week.

Bonjour à tous les padawans et maîtres jedis stretch 15 centimètres (Stretch explanations more) EXPOSURE TO LIGHT One of the main culprits in abnormal stretching of cannabis plants is the lack of light. Plants that are too far from an adequate light source will respond by accelerating stem growth in order to get closer to the lamp themselves. Especially when there are many other plants. A lack of lighting can easily cause overcrowding in a growing chamber, reducing the steady progression of your crop and the distance ratio between your bulbs and your plants. To address this problem, be sure to provide enough light to your plants to prevent stem growth. At the same time, you should not position your lights too close to your plants either since this would also result in an over-stretching of the stems and in some cases, the loss of your crop. In addition to the distance between the light source and the plant, the type of light you will use also affects the size of the stretching of your crop. The orange and red lights encourage stretching and result in thinner, larger stems. And conversely, blue light stimulates a growth of thicker stems and a smaller size. When a species is ready to enter the vegetative phase and undergo its most drastic stretching period, metal halide lamps can be used to deter far too long stems. THE HEAT Heat is another essential element that can determine the stretch size of your plants during vegetation. Temperatures above 27 degrees push the stems to lengthen more and more and will propel the potential of sativas to push as high as possible. Heat lamps that are positioned too close to plants create an intolerable environment that will grow large, soft plants that will potentially wobble until they fall and lose flowers in its fall. OTHER CAUSES OF STRETCHING There are multiple variables that can lead to the stretching of plants beyond what could normally be expected of the plant. Environmental stressors resulting from transplantation (when a plant passes from one pot to another) can cause the plant to return to shock. This will eventually trigger a reaction causing a stretch. Cannabis plants that are not grown in decent conditions or do not receive enough nutrients will respond in a variety of ways and this includes stretching. Crops that are not spaced far enough apart are likely to stretch to sting the light to other plants. Due to extreme proximity, the plants will fight among themselves to reach the light, forcing them to expand as much as possible throughout the crop. HOW TO CONTROL STRETCHING DURING FLOWERING Stretching during flowering, you guessed it, takes place when you move your plants from the vegetation stage to the flowering stage. This is a completely normal reaction, as your plants are preparing to bear the weight of their heads. Stretching of a plant at the beginning of flowering varies widely; some plants can double in height while others grow only a few centimetres. There are, however, two main variables that can give you at least an idea of how your plants are stretching during flowering, and how much. Here are these two variables: Variety: Genetics has the greatest impact on the size of your plant. In general, sativa varieties stretch more than indicas and tend to develop long, slender stems. Light: Some lights, such as HPS, are more likely to encourage stretching. In addition, great distances between your canopy and your lights will cause the plants to stretch as they try to get closer to the light source. Stretching during flowering usually lasts the first two weeks of the phase. To minimize stretching, keep your lights between 10 (for CFL) and 30 centimetres (for HID) of your canopy. Finally, choose indica varieties if you have a smaller growing space. HOW TO AVOID STRETCHING In many cases, you can expect your cannabis plants to stretch during the flowering phase. Keeping that in mind helps to make a plan in case your species ends up growing much more than you could have imagined. If the information is available, get information on the standard size of your species and compare it to the size of your growing space taking into account the necessary distances between the bulbs and the plants. TRAFFIC While outdoor crop operations benefit from natural air to naturally limit stretching, indoor crops must assume the maintenance of air circulation within a confined space. Basic ventilation is enough to help the cannabis stems strengthen and become thicker rather than too high. In this way, the plants continue to grow vigorously without reaching heights and at the same time, your tolerance ceiling. MANUAL INTERVENTION For growers who want to get their hands dirty, there are physical procedures that can be done to reduce stretching. Similar to the natural effect that the wind has on cannabis plants, manually bending the leaves and stems will cause tiny cracks in the plant's tissues that will cause the plant to focus on regenerating its wounds instead of its vertical growth. THE TOPPING Topping is a form of manual intervention on cannabis to influence its performance, shape or size. In essence, topping is a process in which a new node is cut, growing from the plant to reduce its size and create a "v"-shaped notch that will eventually form two heads. Topping may be an effective measure to combat stretching, but it is important not to do so when the flowering phase begins. In most cases, an abnormal stretch of cannabis plants will not completely destroy your crop. In fact, stretching can indeed help increase your performance. For growers with a growing operation large enough to contain tall plants, stretching can increase the total yield of a species with more vertical space for head formation. In both cases, stretching can easily be planned in advance and there are multiple solutions to help you with this problem which is all too common. 2018-04-10 Day 1 I gave the girls water and nutrients yesterday so nothing to drink today. Turned them 90 degrees today, to give my girls as much lightexposure as possible. The flowers get bigger and bigger for each day, Overall the ladies look really good, the colors are very nice, they look healthy. I am a little surprised over the difference in size between nr1 and nr2, nr 2 is 21 cm taller than nr 1, and the flowerproduction is awesome. Not that nr1 doesn't look great - she certainly does - but still.... Nr1 is huge, she decides how much all other girls needs to be risen to get their canopys at the same height as hers. 👊.
