(11/25-12/01) Hope everyone enjoys the daily progressions of overhead and side profile (Organized Chaos) Unfortunately they have too much of a toll for me to keep up with with 3 sets of grows going now, so this was the last week I am doing them on this set. I will try to add a video and black back or cover pics by end of week every week. Week 3 Notes & Observations: As mentioned last week, Plant 1 remains the supreme plant now and is producing nice stretch in the node spacing but is still showing a different type of leaf shape than plant 2. No issues from the mainline topping and they seem to be going okay. I will be topping again this weekend for the second of 3 total topping sessions. This topping will be 2 tops off the ends of the last and will produce 4 main colas. **OOPS** was being a little too aggressive in my HST while trying to set the mainline on both plants today. P1 was just a little rip of the skin, I taped her up and suspect she will be fine. However, on P2, I nearly snapped the whole branch off. I taped it and crossed my fingers hoping it works out in a week or two, but have serious doubts it will be able to mend such a large break. We'll see because I am posting ALL of the grow, the good and the bad. VPD and PPFD: This week I will hold the humidity in the tent to about 70-75% and temps will be monitored for 70- 75F daytime and 66-71F overnight. Im not adjusting my lights and look to control them 350ppfd max. Meaning slight increase over last week but mostly just growth increase. Feed & Monitor: ***All feeds with nutes use either a whole ratio or combination of "Veg Mix" and "Bloom Mix"concentrates DILUTED in water until a total ppm of add-in is reached using a (Total Dissolved Solids) TDS Meter measured in PPM (parts per million). The "Veg Mix" concentrate will eventually be added in smaller ratios and "Bloom Mix" concentrate will eventually replace the "Veg Mix" concentrate entirely. The ppm and ratios of each feed will be listed when I feed. Veg mix recipe is on week 2. Bloom Mix recipe will be noted in this top message of the week that I make it.*** Day 28 (last feed was day 22) Tested and Calibrated my ph pens. Starting weight from each pot was 18 lbs and 8 oz, P1 weighed 15lbs 12oz and P2 was 15lbs 4oz before feed. Each plant got 1 gallon of de-chlorinated tap water with 300ppm Veg Mix concentrate added (recipe on week 2 and makes 1 gallon at about 3600 to 4000ppm concentrate to dilute each feed, i.e. I only fed 300ppm above the purified water ppm this feed) The ph on this feed was balanced to 6.0ph to combat the original higher runoff ph from the first runoff feed. After feed P1 weighed 22lbs 3oz (21lbs 2oz after last feed) and P2 weighed 21lbs 14oz (20lbs 14oz after last feed). I got about 5cups of runoff on P1 (9 cups last feed) and 5 cups on P2 (7 cups last feed) . Runoff for P1 ph was 6.45 with 1170ppm (6.45ph with 980ppm last feed) and P2 was 6.45 with 1230ppm (6.45 with 1130ppm last feed). Top soil tested at: P1 6.35,6.3,6.33,6.33 for an avg of 6.327 (6.497 avg after last feed) and P2 tested at 6.47,6.37,6.26,6.51 avg 6.402 (6.46avg after last feed) - next feed will be 6.3ph as Im liking where the ph is so I dont see any issues, but will continue to monitor this way. Day 34 (last feed was day 28) Tested and Calibrated my ph pens. 1st Starting weight from each pot was 18 lbs and 8 oz. Before feeding this time, P1 weighed 14lbs 14oz (15lbs 12oz before last feed) and P2 was 14lbs 7oz before feeding (15lbs 4oz before last feed). Each plant got 1.5 gallons of de-chlorinated tap water with 98ppm Veg Mix concentrate added to flush any salt builds in the soil (recipe on week 2 and makes 1 gallon at about 3600 to 4000ppm concentrate to dilute in each feed, i.e. I only fed 98ppm above the de-chlorinated tap water ppm this feed) Due to this soil showing a possible calcium deficit, I am starting a 1ml per gallon add-in to test on all plants using this soil, so I added 1.5ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) to each plant's feed then I ph balanced before feeding. The ph on this feed was balanced to 6.3ph. I used knitting needles to help both aerate the soil and create new water pathways for the roots. (a practice I may consider a new feeding standard) After feed, P1 weighed 21lbs 9oz (22lbs 3oz after last feed) and P2 weighed 21lbs 7oz (20lbs 14oz after last feed). I got about 11cups of runoff on P1 (5 cups last feed) and 11 cups on P2 (5 cups last feed). Higher runoff volume was expected with the feed volume increase for flush this round. Runoff for P1 ph was 6.65 with 838ppm (6.45 with 1170ppm last feed) and P2 was 6.60 with 879ppm (6.45 with 1230ppm last feed). Top soil tested at: P1 6.58,6.57,6.58,6.67 for an avg of 6.600 (6.327 avg after last feed) and P2 tested at 6.47,6.61,6.64,6.64 to avg 6.590 (6.402 avg after last feed) - next feed will be 6.0ph as I'm still liking where the ph is, but rather see it closer to 6.3 or 6.4 top and bottom. I dont see any issues with the feed's data other than the possible calcium deficit and I will continue to monitor runoff ppms as I expected this to be higher with more runoff. What a fun run this was ! These Ogreberrys finished up from 81 days to 102 days with nice hints of gassy , sour purple , sweetness and glistening with frost! These ladies will cure up for a month an will be ready to test out ! So much fun , I highly recommend this strain if your looking for some oooy gooohy resiny grape smelling nugs !

9.2.25: Purple Punch P1 and P2 are near the end. Trichomes are looking good. Starting to turn cloudy. I think another week or 2. P3 is a different story. She is pitifully small still. The buds are also not developing as fast as the other 2. Will keep checking the progress every few days (if I can get in the tent)! 9.2.25: The plants had a good watering, they're all still drinking a lot. Which is great, as that means growth, which, at this stage, we desperately need! I went ahead and gave all the plants a thorough watering each with: 2ltrs of dechlorinated water, PH'd to 6.5 with:- ♡ 4ml of Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster ♡ 4ml of Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids ♡ 4ml Seaweed extract liquid I don't know how this scrog net is going to work out. I think the squares are too big. It's elasticated, which I like. However, I'm extremely cautious with watering and moving the net. It's only a matter of time before I break more branches. It's such a hassle with it in there, honestly. I can't get in the tent properly to even check the weight of pots, as it's all weaved through, and again, I will snap branches. I did have a free net with the tent, which I think was smaller squares. I think I will use some other training next run. It's really not my kind of setup. I'm too interested in moving things and inspecting the plants constantly. The net is driving me up the wall. 😣 I'm considering removing it and trying something else, but it's also a bit too late for oldest plants. 9.2.25: Gave the plants another good soak. I used 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. It contained the following nutrients; ♡ 4ml of Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster ♡ 4ml of Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids ♡ 4ml Seaweed extract liquid ♡ 0.5g of Ecothrive Biosys. The plants are undergoing explosive growth at this stage, which I'm thrilled by! Purple Lemonade is turning purplish hues. Pink Mist has so many bud sites and is looking very healthy. Do-sì-dos is growing vigorously and looking promising, especially considering all my unfortunate mishaps! 😅 Watermelon also has considerable growth. However, my training has made a mess out of the structure. Which I consider another valuable take away. Bubble

This week is going good for the beach ball I noticed some nice growth coming in and started LST for the mini pot growth is not as vigorous will most like start feeding next week just to prolong it a little longer this is definitely a experience can’t wait for the next week!

Week 5, plants look good, bud sites developing nicely, smell is still weak but citrusy. Decided not to add cal-mag, gonna ride it out with it. Humidity dropped to 45%.

Hey! Welcome to week 8! Karen is mid way through her flowering stretch. Please check back to last week as I update daily so the week is now complete. I count about 20 colas now. Day 51: Have reconfigured the tent, see video. Karen is now 36cm and still stretching. Karen has more light now. Smell is still there hits you when you open the tent. Fertigated 2l. Day 52: Height: 39cm. Karen's scent is heavenly. I have reconfigured again and installed some upgrades. Better reflector. Much bigger carbon filter. Increased airflow. Better config. More efficient pot layout. Karen is lovely. I am grateful to her and for her, so I wrote her a little poem, I hope she liked it. "Karen! Oh Karen! The phoenix of flowers, Three lowly weeks she struggled in vain, Shadowed and starved for five hundred hours, He slowly wept to witness her pain. Karen! Oh Karen! I P-H'd your showers, and in the fourth week you started to gain, Hallowed and hard you survived as you cowered, I thought you meek, I was wrong once again. Karen! Oh Karen! Forgave me my howlers. She set a pace, a pace she maintained, Now shes a girl at the peak of her powers, And so I'm a geek, with buds on the brain." Day 53: Approx 48h into a simulated dry spell. Alright I think it is time for Karen to get her first MAJOR defoliation. I will update shortly with photos and info. I will also be doing some gentle LST to separate the colas a bit. Day 53.5: Defoliation and LST. Finally got chance to photograph that bunda. Enjoy! Day 53.75: Bit of a fail. Messed up the timer and the lights ended up being off for about 3 or 4 hours. Because I was cooling the room (open window) to keep temperature in the tent down, without any light the temperatures absolutely plummeted as it is sub-zero outside. By the time I realised and turned the lights on, the temp in the main tent had dropped to 14 degrees celsius. Whoops! How is that for mistreating your girl? Defoliated about 80% of her leaves, 4 nodes, significant LST, then stuck her in the cold and dark for 1/6 of a day. Not to mention she is now almost 3 days into a "dry spell". There do not seem to be ill effects, and Karen has already begun to respond to the LST; all the colas that had been changed in angle are now upright again. The dry spell I keep mentioning, there is a method behind my madness, I have spotted one or two small flies and I think they may be fungus gnats. I am starting to suspect that the 2nd seedling in the Purple OG Punch Auto grow was actually beheaded by fungus gnat larvae. So I am drying out the mediums as much as I dare. I am closely monitoring the plants, so far the only one I have had to break the drought for is Enigma; all the girls in big pots haven't even noticed it's dry yet. How far am I going to push it? Well I will judge it on a plant by plant basis, but quite honestly I am hoping to see physical signs of thirst before I breakdrought. Of all the plants the two I think will respond most strongly to this will be Karen and Bertha, because of where they are. Karen here is actually probably 4 weeks into flowering rather than two, so about now is a good time to give her a little hydration stress. I do not think I will push it past 5 days, as RH is 34%. By now all the plants will be compensating for the lack of moisture and the high temperatures and low humidity. They will be taking more and more moisture out of the coco, and as the coco dries further and further down, those plants that have space will start desperately growing roots to find moisture. Mark my words, 24 hours after I end this drought, every plant in the tent will throw out crazy growth. Day 54: Ended drought and fertigated 6l, no run off, I will re-fertigate tomorrow. Karen is still stretching her height post LST is now 37cm. The two tallest colas seem to have stopped but the other colas are still stretching. Day 55: Alright so it has been 5 hours since lights on, and Karen is looking in good shape, all her drooping leaves have perked back up and she has added quite a bit of foliar growth. The colas are all still rising, except perhaps the two tallest. This girl is absolutely loaded with pistils, I'm starting to see trichomes on the sugar leaves, but trich production hasn't started in earnest yet. She has a least 20 colas, and 6 of them are thicker/taller than the primary cola at her tip. Every one of her nodes has reinforced itself with a bulbous growth and these cola branches are swelling rapidly. I am increasingly of the opinion that, all being well, this girl is going to surprise us all with her yield. My first grow, which was just mucking about really, I got 60-70g of the two main plants, and they were just bare sticks with 2 colas. Although her height is less than theirs was, 2/3 of their height was bare stick... whereas every mm of her is befoliaged and living. So in terms of the height of the actual cola I think they were about comparable in usable space on a per cola basis. The main difference being that Karen has 20+ colas whereas they had 2 primary and 2 lower. I know that it is probably unrealistic to expect more than 70g from a single auto grown indoors. Nevertheless my gut tells me this baby could achieve at least 100g, perhaps as much as 150g. The next few weeks will determine that, but given where we were in week 3 I will be grateful for any yield of quality bud. I have dropped the lights down to 18/6 from 'tonight' onwards. I really have no idea how long we have left for Karen. According the the "brochure" she flowers for 7-8 weeks, with a total crop time of 9 weeks. The problem is I don't know what a total crop time is? Does that mean from seed to finish? If so Karen is clearly not going to be anywhere near that timescale.I am going to go ahead an assume that, for my plant anyway, the first 4 weeks were veg weeks. I think it is fair to count week 5 and 6 as flowering because pistils were popping out very early in week 5 if not before. So that makes this week four of flowering. I am going to assume 8 weeks rather than 7, so I think we have another 4 full weeks give or take a week. On that basis I am expect harvest week to be around week 12 or so. I am not fixed on this though, I am determined not to harvest this girl early. Day 55: Photos taken 00:00 9/3/23 Strong 24h of veg growth as predicted. Day 56: Existing leaves continue to swell. Stretch appears to be slowing. I've taken so many media this week that I cannot scroll down far enough to select a recent thumbnail. Probably Karen's biggest week in terms of changes. She is looking like she is going to impress. Height 39cm.

Buds starting to put on a little extra weight was having doubts with this strain as i stressed her out quite abit but she's pulling through should have a decent yield overall. Has developed a strong ZKITTLEZ smell.

This time it was this girl's turn with a great smell. A very good strain, easy to grow, fast, and without many demands. Besides the controlled environment, it has a sweet citrus scent that makes you want to eat it instead of smoke it, lol. The buds were a good size, very resinous, and sticky. I really liked the result and intend to grow it again ✌️💪🌿🍁

Jun 10: Getting droopy. Watered less than half gallon of Ph 6.7 water. Jun 12: That watering really gave a growth spurt! Gonna bump the humidity up to a max of 81% til we get further into veg. Jun 13: Plant is tall enough to tie some good looking limbs down and also the main stem to the side. Jun 15: Buckets are getting lighter, but the soil is moist, meaning my humidity was too high. That lead to some mold and algae that I will treat with spray Neem oil. Smells terrible, but should do the trick. Lowering humidity to 65% for a bit, then will probably get closer to 75% over the next few days.

Welcome back to growfessor theatre! Week 4F begins in the 4x4. Heavy defoliation performed on the Mandarin dreams and Do-si-dos, Green Crack and LSD got a light defoliation. LSD had the most yellowing, she seems to be the hungriest for nutrients. Not much else to report, the ladies are happy, healthy and bud is developing nicely! Day 8 - Tuesday 23/10,18 , I have added the nutrients into the Reservoir , she is making roots like you wouldn’t believe , over a foot long and branches , I will post a pic later , as I want the light off , talking of lights , the cycle is now 20/4 that’s 20 hrs of sun to 4 hrs of darkness , colour is good , leaves are quite fat . KEEP AN EYE ON PH AND EC DAILY !!! Lux @ 15,000 EC = +0.7 or 350 ppm Ph = 6.3 Day 9 - Wednesday , I checked the ph and a EC this morning , both were fine , put in about 50 ml of water , leaves getting fatter , roots are getting more dense and intricate Day 10 - Thursday , I tested the ph and EC , all was good, took a root shot for you Day 11 - Friday , tested ph and EC , all good , water level ok , ive noticed that it has actually turned around, can you see that? the leaves have turned..... from 10 to 4 to 6 oclock...!!! or am i losing it? lol..... Day 12 - Saturday , tested EC and ph , no water needed or nutes, leaves are green and getting bigger , look how compact the plants are , there is no stretching ,I have put more pebbles in to stop light leaks to the roots . Day 13 - Sunday - Checked EC and ph nothing needed Day 14 - Monday - Checked EC and ph , nothing needed , water level ok IMPORTANT 👁️ To prolong the lives of EC tester and ph tester ( digital ones ) ALWAYS WASH THEM OFF WITH CLEAN WATER AFTER EACH TEST 💯 you need to check the roots , in these pots if there is 2 in a system , they will become entangled and matted if you don’t lift them , EVERYDAY . Please note the pots are 14 cm in diameter

And the first week of flower begins! I started this week off by defoliating any and all large fan leaves blocking lower nodes. Also did a little supercropping on BL to get her to spread just a bit more. I raised the light up to 45cm and this will be the final height. They've been drinking really fast by this point. Definitely going to be very diligent with waterings/feedings until harvest. Cheers all! This is my most painless grow to date, praying for a nice and smooth wrap-up to this cycle as well.
