End of Week 14 (7th week of flower) Cruise control still on. Smooth sailing till the end. Because this is a fully organic grow there is no need for a leaching flush, all I'm doing is giving the ladies PH correct water from now until harvest to naturally deplete the soil from nutrients and flush out the soil slowly this will help bring out some colours as the ladies use up the remaining nutrients stored in their leaves as they reach the end of their life cycle. I have been keeping a cooler average temperature - and also keeping the relative humidity lower. Pest Report: None

01/04/2022- Hello and welcome all been away on some family matter. So today was the last day this girl got watered and will also be the last day she got light as well, she will be cut down Friday morning. The smell has gotten a lot more stronger since flush was started last week Wednesday. Will update before I chop her down.

Hello This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of veg. Getting her top, bigger, branches spread out, under the bottom rung of the cage. And I'll bring the smaller bottom branches up through the middle. It will work out good. The plant is doing good, but the leaves are so big, I might have to remove some so the light can get in to the smaller ones. I'm watering with 3/4 strength nutrient now. Don't need her getting too big. OK. Be Great. Chuck.

7.14.25. Harvest was 7.13. Glad this grow is over time to finish up! Wet bud was 20.5 pretty much my smallest harvest ever! Bud looks decent is sticky and smells pungent a lot like gorilla glue. Will starting next grow in month or 2! Thanks for checking out grow!

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Wednesday, January 27 Fed plants yesterday(26JAN) 3/4ga each plant. 2tsp/ga ratio of Bud Candy pH’d @6.3’s. Have a compost tea brewing that I will feed them tomorrow. Compost tea is comprised of 1 Cup of worm castings and a 1/4 Cup of bone meal powder. Bone meal powder is a great source of calcium and phosphorus to help in the flowering stage. I also added 1.5tsp of Great White Myco root powder to 3ga of compost tea. This morning I noticed little white hairs growing out of pistils all over the plants! Finally, signs of early flowering since switching to a 12/12 light schedule this past Saturday. Plants have shown a sizable amount of stretch in the past couple weeks so I’ve projected at about 6-8 weeks from now for a harvest? I’ll keep y’all posted on the days ahead and as always, stay safe and happy growing💚✌️🌱 Thursday January 28 Fed plants about 3/4 ga each of compost tea @6.3pH. Gorilla Auto - From seed to harvest Startling growth, they got very tall quickly. When I thought the vegetative state was about to end, they grew even taller. Beginning its flowering, I chose to research methods to optimize and circumvent its size as the dimensions of my set are not those indicated for a plant that has shown itself to be very fast to develop. After some research: I followed some techniques to essentially “get light evenly across the plant” Following nutrient feeding dosages recomended by manufacturers and get no trouble at all, it will grow undoubtedly to be a majestic plant to be harvested. I got the idea that if you have more light the expected results will undoubtedly be even better than what I got with the 100w One of the characteristics that I noticed that in just 3 weeks of growth we already smell the intense plant. With regard to the buds I picked and in my case undoubtedly the ones that got the most light I can describe that they were superb in appearance and smoking very tasty, the lower though smaller ones came out with a very close quality too. Undoubtedly, this plant is what we expect when we start planting, so much to see the growth and development over the weeks, at the time of its harvest feel that the results obtained are completely above expectations. : 0) Its aroma is very good and balanced, the trip even better! ; 0) Thank you all for your support & my special thanks to RQS for the motivation you gave me!
