Nächste Woche ist es dann endlich soweit und die DMO Grapefruit kommt unter die Schere ✂️. Ich habe die Pflanze nochmal Stark ausgedünnt und es zeigt sicher eine sehr stark ausgeprägte Blütenstruktur. Absolut im XL Bereich. Es lässt sich beobachten, dass die Blütenbildung im mittleren Bereich der Colas stark ausgebreitet hat und die Pflanze Richtung Spitze eher etwas dünner wird. Sie bildet die Blüten sehr vielseitig aus, von dünner kompakt bis hin zur breiten dichteren stellen. Ihr Geruch ist nun sehr stark ausgeprägt und eine Grapefruit Note zeichnet sich als markante Hauptnote ab. Bei diesem Typ nochmal etwas intensiver als bei der #2. Abgerundet wird dass ganze durch etwas skungige, Säure und etwas Zwiebel/Pfefferigel Noten. Auch eine leichte Süße Komponente kommt etwas hindurch. Pheno hunt is rolling along smoothly. Gave the plants their first feeding. Top dressed with coast of Maine lobster compost cut with Stonington blend to give a little aeration. 3:1 ratio coast of Maine plant food 5:2:4. Roughly 1 tbsp per pot. Mixed in with compost and soil and scratched into top 4 inches Watered in with a blend of Neptune harvest liquid fertilizer in ratio 1:2:1 (npk) watered down to 1tsp/gal in this order: Fish: Crab: Kelp The ZB is definitely a shorter stockier plant with short internodal spacing. Originated from very tiny seeds which might explain the smaller plant form at the start. Once it puts in some biomass it might pick up the speed. HP seems to like to stretch a little more. Growing like crazy Rainbow belts looking like the model freak of nature that it is. Near perfect. 18hrs post feed/ top dress and the plants are recovering beautifully. Liquid fertilizer is not ideal as it's expensive and you're paying a lot for water. But for my grow it's very necessary to lower solution pH into something acceptable. Next week I'm hoping to harvest some young plants in a nearby forest to create a brown sugar fermented plant juice in order to get away from the high nutrition of emulsions. Update day 19 Seems that ZB HATES having it's roots dry. Really needs to be watered almost daily to keep it happy. Strange

Another good week! Calcium deficiency is proving hard to defeat. No noticeable slowing of growth or anything negative. Buds are stacking on nicely and starting to frost up!

Gave her last feed yesterday, thinking tomorrow, maybe later tonight, i will start with a flush for 7-10 days going by trichomes some are still clear but i think most are cloudy and a couple ambers here and there.

After two years of cultivation we wanted to re-propose one of our favorite strains 🤩 The first time we debuted we did it with her and we hit the box office by winning the first place in the competition .... 🌱 Super Boof – Harvest Day 119 Harvest Day 119: Harvested a little earlier than planned because Bud Rot was starting to show She was a very nice, compact plant with some beautiful, dense buds and an amazing amount of frost. She really didn't like the couple of days with higher humidity towards the end of flowering. Oh well… 😅 Luckily, I didn't lose much to the Bud Rot and was able to harvest most of the plant in good condition. Now let's see how she performs after drying and curing! 🤞🌱

Good stretch this week, I haven’t lollipopped at all, not even in veg. It’s fairly leafy everywhere and I want to get in there and defoliate bottom 1/3 soon. A lot of dead leaves I imagine, just been so busy and been neglecting the grow. Funny, how when you first start out and you’re overly micro-managing and then as the months go by, it starts to become a chore. I ordered a light from China, a Meijiu (HLG)550 V3. HLG Canada didn’t want to give me a decent discount so, unfortunately had to ship my money outside the country. Saved 50% for a quality light though. Might take a bit to get here, been processing in Hong Kong for 4 days. So far the leaves are healthy but last run they started to turn deficient after the stretch. In my defence, with the last grow, I was just starting on the dry nutrient regimen and made mistakes. Hopefully it stays healthy throughout bloom cycle with new changes and knowledge. New reservoir this week as follows: Partial drain, most of it gone, but 100mL RO added and; 40 gram cal nit 30 jacks 30 mag sulph. 100mL mighty bloom enhancer 100mL head masta 300 mL h2o2 25 mL Fulvic 40mL Humic pH ended up high with addition of bloom enhancer, added pH down to 5.8. PPM 1360. Wednesday-Day 10 Added water and some nutes. PPM 1200 pH 6.0 Started a small section of lower 1/3 defoliation Day 11 Did some more defoliation, added a video to show progress. Day 12 Finished lollipop on right plant. Moved some branches around. Added 20 liters and 20g cal nit, 10g of both jacks and magnesium sulphate.

A memorable harvest. The buds are all very high quality and cleaning them was easy as the pruning I did did not produce any popcorn buds. The flavor is among the most intense I've ever tried and it's a plant that I would recommend to everyone.

Obvious indicas starting to bulk. sativas still stretching.. Started upping additives for resin and terpene production. Not sure if it's worth it on unknown strains, but giving it a go anyway.. I know what these seeds produce in soil, so should be able to compare end product.. Getting problems in the kratky..Changed over to using vitaponix (bought a sample pack) - and am getting what looks like root rot.. Ai is now telling me it could be a good time to lower my Canna a to 2.5mlpl and keep b at 4mlpl. to lower nitrogen intake. give that a go next week. Have combined week 4&5 pics.
