Well this is not going good. Very low humidity. High temperature.

1 week to go for nore mature plant, planned harvest on next saturday. Yesterday conducted a big flush for both plants as lots of nutrients got locked up in root system, Smaller plant has been defoliated a bit to let light get through all stems which are everywhere. Can't wait for final result.

The girls look happy so I'm happy. 😁 I think they're done stretching now.⬆️ Excited too see how these turn out. 🌺 Anyone have any experience with strain? 🤔

Cut the grow nutrient this week. This girl has been powering through as the lone survivor. Amazing trichome production for such an early stage. Should be another few weeks with this girl but shes already turning colors. 12/12 since September 5th, first buds September 14th.

Shes still hanging in there. Poor thing. I soooo regret not letting her veg longer. Shes green again!!! This is the best shes looked since transplanting. What a trooper she is! This is a very resilient plant

Alright folks. Here she is. Fastbuds Orange Sherbet. So she's doing really well this week. I got really busy the previous two weeks and forgot to take pictures. But here is the result. This beast of a little girl is strong. Her smell is coming through really nicely.

Two of the seedlings were showing some really marked chlorosis. A little odd, because all 4 buckets should be the same mix, but... I checked the EC of all the buckets and they were consistent. pH was a smidge high on those two, so I dropped it from about 5.8 to closer to 5.4/5.5. After a couple of days, I decided to just remix those two buckets. I didn't want to spend a lot of time trying to fiddle with a nutrient deficiency with autos. After a couple of days the meristem areas were coming in green again, so hopefully it's fixed! The other two plants looked fine. Edit: Immediately after writing this entry, I was like "Oooh, it's nute burn." so I dumped 1/2 of the reservoirs and replaced with filtered water to get the ppm down. pHed it to 5.5 again, and we'll see!

Strong smell and very frosty 🤩🍀✌️

This grow I am going to do it differently. I am going to do day tracking instead of date tracking. I am using using pre-grown ( two grows ago) Coco mix with nature suppers soil to experiment with reusing grow medium. The pots are 5 gallon air pots. I have never used these before so we will see. The 1st take on them that they are very messy compared to fabric pots. Once established, I will be using half strength Advanced Nutrients for Coco since these are autos. Day 1 - 3 Seeds soaked overnight and were put directly into the 5 gallon pots. I pre-soaked the Coco with 5ml/gallon Clonex and covered the seeds with a mason jar. Day 2 - Temp stayed around 78 all day with me going in and out of the tent looking for a sprout. Nothing yet. 😀 Kept the Coco moist under the jar. Day 3 - One seed has popped. I sure hope the others do, if not in the next 48 hours, I will plant more. Day 4 - Two seeds popped and one was up with the husk on and I accidentally pulled it out (dumb ass). I put in another seed. Day 5 - One of the 2 seeds that popped died. Not sure why but it looked like it would not shake off the seed casing. It was not reaching towards the light then found it laying on it's side. I planted another seed. Day 6 - The one that has popped seams to be doing well. Only time will tell. Day 7 - The replacement seed has popped. I hope all goes well.

End of course for this Persian Prince project! Unfortunately, he failed to cut short this flowering a few days in advance following the start of a pest attack. Our two beautiful ones would have certainly enjoyed crunching life with full roots for another week, but prudence forced us to cut a little prematurely. Never mind, our flowers have dried for 10 days and are now ready to begin their maturing period in a jar. Despite these conditions, which are very well known to them, our Persian Princes still present impressive characters: the buds are huge, covered with a thick layer of trichomes and very fragrant. In terms of flavors, cheesy dominates 🧀 the two phenos smell strongly of semi-roller/Emmental style hard cheese, definitely the dominant aroma, for one of our two plants it is the only aroma that I am capable of to raise. The other phenotype is more complex, on the salty-cheesy smell a fresher and tangy/lemony smell is superimposed, very pleasant and different from its sister and at the same time linked to it by its common dominant cheesy aroma. This week was pretty mellow. Not much done. Watered twice this week, with second watering made some compost tea I brewed up on Thursday. Plants seem very happy. Smell is getting a little stronger. Not sure I have smelled anything some grapey. Very strange doesn't even seem real...lol. Loving this grow!!!
