Hey-O ! The girls are doing great, lots of frost development and thickening up. Big fat colas and nugs on these ones. Pretty sure the Mai cola is a solid OZ on its own 🤤 smelling very dank, and feeling greasy to the touch. All I have had to do this week is fill the humidifier and admire them as they grow 😎 not too much longer, hoping they finish around the same time as my other strain . Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️🌱

Everything's still going pretty good. With my previous grow I had some problem with overwatering (classic noob mistake), so as you can see on the video I'm giving them small amounts at a time once every 4/5 days. Made a photo of the light that I'm using. Flowering mode is turned off so power consumption is around 120 watts.

She's now kept fully indoors, producing more buds hopefully. I removed nearly all seeds developing in the popcorn buds, avoiding damage to the colas as much as possible. Tested the little charas built up on my tweezers, pretty dang potent I have to say. Temperature and humidity is a bit high and I can't do much about that for the time being, she's doing fine regardless. She used to have more of a freshly brewed coffee smell to her in the past 2 weeks, now that has turned into the smell of an entire pastry shop with an italian espresso machine running. I've removed a tiny branch with some popcorn buds that wasn't going to grow into anything substantial anyway, it dried until now and I gave it a try. VERY potent already, tingling body sensations straight away, clear headed and gently uplifting high just a touch towards the indica side, but otherwise very balanced.

I started germination of this Gold Bar Kush bean on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cube with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plug was just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made hole. Than I sowed my bean into the hole. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the hole in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plug into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see a sprout. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plug planted into a 1 gallon pot. Plus get this lady situated into her new home. Cant wait! Some background information on my first run with GBK. It's a VERY robust variety packing hella branches, hella quick. Prime candidate for continues ongoing lst work. To maintain a clean,uncongested even canopy. She can become a jungle quick if left untamed. Shes very easy going in the nutrient department. Not hard to keep this one happy. Packs on lots of weight everywhere towards end of flower. Branches most definitely need some support or they will come crashing down. The flavor and aroma from this variety sre majestic. The intense indica effects are heavenly. Not hard to guess why it's back in the grow room for round 2.

My plant grew great I over don’t my veg and auto room with having way to many plants she was kinda left in the corner most of her growing life I am very happy with what she did to say I never had to do a lot basically thanks rqs for the chance .. all my other autos using rqs have a lot more space so they can actually breath

Scrog

A week full of adversities, lots of mold on the main buds. I increased ventilation and air exchange, but unfortunately it wasn't enough. I lost the biggest top of Baker's #1 due to mold, and to prevent the harvest and reduce plant transpiration (since I couldn't lower the humidity), I decided to remove some buds from most of the plants at the end of week 7. I left the most promising ones and those where I didn't see mold. I left the tent open every day and night to reduce humidity, but I still had problems with some moldy buds at the end of week 8. But it's all good, everything has been a learning experience so far. I've made good friends and continue to learn more each day. I have some clones that are revegetating and maybe I'll bring a new project. Thank you to everyone who dedicated some of their time to this diary. This thing is insane! Rapidly growing everyday. I need to keep it under control for another for about 30 more days before I can fit it in my other tent.

Hello Diary, It's the end of the first week of vegetation on my little farm. I'm a little late in updating the diary, but I'll try to change that in the future. Vegetation officially starts when the plants get at least 4 leaves, in the case of White Widow it's the same as with her roommates. It's the same case for all three plants, 9 days from when I planted the seeds in the ground, or 5 days from when the plants sprouted. As you can see from the photos, White Widow is making great progress from day one. Although initially one leaf was trapped by the seed coat, which can be seen in the photos, one is more developed than the other. You can see a drastic difference every day, I put photos on the 1st day of vegetation and the 7th day of vegetation and the difference is obvious in those seven days. White Widow - Day 1. - 2.5 cm White Widow - Day 7. - 6 cm Conditions on the farm are not ideal. The summer heat is still unbearable, affecting the temperature in the apartment. When I add Migro Aray 4 to that, the temperature sometimes reaches 32 degrees. I don't see for now that it has a bad effect on the plants, but I would like it if the temperature were lower. The lights are now set at 35 cm from the plants and are dimmed at 40% of their power. The regime is 18/6 from the first day of vegetation. Watering is every three days. I prepare about 4 liters of water, add 1 ml/L Calcium and Magnesium supplement and this week I started adding Bio Grow Fertilizer, a new product from RQS. After all, I lower the pH to 6.0. and with that amount I water all three plants on the farm. Here's a quick recap of the week. 25/07/2024 - Day 1. The official start of the vegetation. After photographing the plants, I watered them. I still put the seed booster in there, also a new product from the RQS organic fertilizer collection. 28/07/2024 - Day 4. Watering. I prepared 4 liters of water again, added Calcium and magnesium supplement, Bio Grow Fertilizer and finally lowered the pH. with Lemon Kick. 31/07/2024 - Day 7. End of the first week of vegetation. "Regardless of experience, all growers aim to achieve the same results"... I read that in a grow magazine recently. At first I thought yeah a big huge yield, right? Well ya, and no. The best quality? Of course but I think there is more. Always learning something new. Doing just a bit better than the last time. It's been a good week and I hope the progress continues. I'm guessing an 10-11 week flower...keep on rockin.

Premise was to see how "optimal" i can get my first ever Grow. After some Research i came up with the idea to build an Aeroponic System myself using Water Buckets and Venturi Injektors to provider proper aeration. Sadly Seedlings had to wait in EazyCubes cause some parts and Nutrients didnt arrive on time. System was fully operationable on Day 16. Atami Nutrients are inside the System since Day 24, Calmag has been added Day 28. Before that, some Tri-part Nutrient. Planning on switching to Plagron in the Long run, as well as adding Co2, a water chiller and a ~700W LED. Stats: - 5 30L Buckets, 4 Plants and 1 Reservoir - Recirculation happens through 90mm PVC pipes - 16000 l/h pump going through 4x 1" Venturi Injektors pulling around 700 liters of Air per hour - 1mx1mx2m Growtent - 250W The Jackson Nemesis LED Happy about any Questions and Suggestions!
