Week 5 Veg Report: SCROG Netting, Massive Leafs & Precise Data Mastery! 🌱 Girls Growing Stronger Than Ever! 🌱 This week has been truly epic in the grow room—so much so that it’s time to bring in the SCROG net! With the canopy expanding and the younger ones still working to catch up, the SCROG net will help me achieve that perfect, even canopy. A well-placed SCROG not only ensures better light penetration but also gives the smaller plants a chance to spread out and thrive alongside their bigger sisters. Now, let’s dive deep into the SCROG method. The Screen of Green (SCROG) technique is a grower’s secret weapon for maximizing space, light efficiency, and yields. The concept is simple but powerful—train the plants to grow horizontally along the net, forcing them to expose multiple budding sites instead of just a single cola. This way, the canopy spreads evenly, improving light distribution and air circulation throughout the tent. As the plants grow, I’ll gently weave their branches through the screen, ensuring they fill every square inch of space. The end goal? A sea of buds all basking in equal light! 💪 Huge Leafs Everywhere! 🌿 One thing that’s really catching my eye this week is the size of the leaves—they’re HUGE! Honestly, they’re so big I couldn’t resist a little fun, so I made myself some fashion accessories: leaf earrings and a cap from the Super Sativa Seed Club Green Papaya! 😂 And, of course, I captured the moment. But seriously, large leaves at this stage are a great sign of healthy, robust plants. These “solar panels” are hard at work soaking up all the light, driving photosynthesis, and fueling growth. So, what does it mean when your plants are showing off big, luscious leaves? It’s a clear indication that they’re happy, healthy, and thriving in their environment—big leaves mean lots of energy being produced and stored for future bud growth. Exactly what we want! 💧 Precision Feeding with Aptus Nutrients 💧 This week, I took a deep dive into my Aptus nutrient lineup and shared a video explaining how each product affects the water’s pH and TDS. Using the AMP-3 Precision Meter, I’m getting real-time water readings and keeping everything dialed in perfectly. Let’s break it down: • pH: 5.83 • TDS in solution: 445 ppm • Water temperature: 25.2°C The Aptus products are incredible for balancing nutrients without throwing off the pH or TDS too much. I’m fine-tuning my feedings based on these readings to make sure the girls are getting exactly what they need. The precision I’m able to achieve with the AMP-3 is mind-blowing—I get immediate feedback on pH, temperature, and EC, allowing me to make real-time adjustments and ensure the perfect environment for nutrient uptake. 📊 Environmental Mastery Thanks to TrolMaster 📊 Speaking of control—let’s talk about the TrolMaster system! Between the DSH-2U Humidity Station and all the other sensors, I’ve created the perfect environment for my plants. Here’s where we’re at this week: • Temperature: 26.2°C • RH: 70.6% • CO2 levels: 775 ppm • VPD: 1.0 kPa • PPFD: 423 Thanks to TrolMaster, I can monitor and adjust these metrics in real time, and the best part? I can do it all through the TM+ Pro app, even while I’m lounging in my green papaya leaf hat! 😆 Whether I’m checking the CO2 levels, adjusting the lights, or fine-tuning the humidity, it’s all in my hands with just a tap of my phone. Talk about convenience! 🌱 P.S. – Inline Sensors: Heavy-Duty Precision 🌱 Now, let’s talk about the heavy-duty players in this game—the (PCT-2) Heavy Duty Inline EC/Temp Sensor and the (PPH-2) Heavy Duty Inline pH Sensor. These bad boys are connected directly to the AMP-3 Precision Meter, and they’ve been absolutely crucial in giving me the most accurate readings on my water and nutrient solution. The PCT-2 keeps me informed about the electrical conductivity and temperature of my solution, which is key for monitoring how well my plants are absorbing nutrients. Too high or too low, and we’re asking for trouble, but this sensor ensures I’m always in that perfect range. The PPH-2, on the other hand, is all about maintaining the perfect pH balance. A fluctuating pH can mean nutrient lockout or deficiencies, but thanks to this sensor, I get a constant read on my pH levels, so the plants are always in their sweet spot for optimal nutrient absorption. Together, these inline sensors allow me to run a super-tight ship—every drop of water and nutrient is dialed in to perfection, keeping the plants happy and healthy! Shout Outs! Had my fair share of issues this week with the lsd25 auto. growth has almost completely stopped. I had to move her to her own 1.2m x1.2m tent as she outgrew the 1m x 1m closet. Shes been in a constant droop. Leaf tips curled down. Growth slowed right down. brown spots and yellow lower leaves. Made alot of changes so hopefully she perks back up now. Shes a beast!

EC: 0.4 Watering: Both 1000 ml. EC: 1.4 Defoliated both plants and attached some shoots to the rack. 20-3 Temps: 18.2 to 22.8 degrees Humidity: 59% to 69% 21-3 Temps: 18.5 to 23.4 degrees Humidity: 57% to 67% Watering: Both 1000 ml. 22-3 Temps: 19.4 to 24.1 degrees Humidity: 55% to 67% Watering: Both 1000 ml. Set the strength of the light to 50% 23-3 Temps: 19.8 to 24.8 degrees Humidity: 58% to 67% Watering: Both 1000 ml. As you can see, instead of removing the leaves, i tucked down all the leaves to open up the canopy. I will see if i like this method as its the first time i try this. I also attached some more shoots to the rack, its looking nicely spread out now :)

What can I say. She stinks so good and looks even better in the flesh. Taking heavy feeds and lots of water. She is putting on weight now and the bids appear to be joining up. Cant wait to try this.

Honestly— grow diaries screwed up big time here. I have two weeks of this diary completely missing after their update. I delete the pics so I can’t re update the lost weeks they deleted. This is week 8 and I chopped up this tester. Came out beautifully! Love the color. The density is on point, and the terps are pine cleaner. Harvest update next week. Big yield here!!!

14/08/2023 Nothing special to mention at the beginning of this week, except my new heat/humidity detector, which is actually an old device I found. I came across it because my little one doesn't seem very reliable anymore(As you can see on a picture it say 69% while the other big one say 45%). Still no nutriments, just water with pH-. And I think I won't make any more changes until the final weeks, when I'll probably trim a maximum of leaves. 17/08/2023 I redid the LST for number 3, without knowing what I was doing, and I'm not sure if I did it right, but I'm pretty happy with the result. The canopy of #3 looks really good, even though the overall canopy is quite uneven. However, doing the LST on all 4 plants intimidated me way too much. So I changed the position of each plant so that they wouldn't encroach too much on each other; I only have a space of 60cmx60cm.

It's seems that Athena finally stopped her stretch and hoping that Xena will follow her sister very soon. Buds are gaining weight and size rapidly. Lots of nice colours and tonnes of trichomes on those buds already. Week 10 Dec 18-24 Dec 18-19 Mainly observation. Xena is still stretching like crazy. both girls are developing beautifully. Dec 20 First watering for this week. 7.5 ltr beetwen both. Runoffs PH's Athena 6.2 Xena 6.3. Dec 21 Due to lack of light at lower parts of conopy decided for another selective defoliation, lowered a bit tallest branches with colas dangerously close to light by tieing them to netting. Couple cm will make a huge difference here. Could not clear well at the back wall of the cabinet due to limited access.I'm very happy with final result. Dec 22-23 Joyful observation of my 🍌💜👊girls development 🧑‍🌾 Dec 24 All is looking great. It's seems that stretch is finally stopped. Girls looking healthy and happy. Ganja Farmer seeds Ak 2.0 XL auto Day 32 from sprout ViparSpectra XS2000 dialed in at 75% Watering every other day to every 2 days LST has worked well thus far with this strain. I am happy with how she is filling out and cant wait to see how much larger she gets. I am posting photos and the timeline from earlier this week. 🌸 Flowering Week 3 – Overall Overview General Structure The plants are now fully established in early flowering. Stretching is slowing down but still visible on some taller phenotypes. Bud sites are clearly forming along the main branches and secondary nodes. The canopy is uneven, with some plants significantly taller and more stretched than others. Plant Health Noticeable yellowing on older fan leaves, especially mid-to-lower canopy. Some plants appear lighter green overall, suggesting higher nutrient demand during transition. A few individuals show drooping and weaker structure compared to the healthier, darker green plants in front. Lower interior growth is still relatively dense. Bud Development Early bud stacking has started. Pistils are clearly visible across tops. Flower clusters are forming but not yet bulking. Structure suggests entry into mid-flower soon. Environmental Adjustments Temperature was reduced by approximately 1°C. Old yellow leaves were selectively removed to improve airflow and light penetration. Canopy airflow appears improved, though density remains moderate. Current Focus Monitor nutrient balance as plants transition into higher phosphorus and potassium demand. Prevent excessive leaf loss too early. Prepare for full mid-flower bulk phase in Week 4–5. Maintain controlled humidity to avoid moisture buildup as buds stack
