Plant has been getting straight pH balanced water this last week and minimal nutes. It is showing some slight nute burn so I let off a bit and raised the light canopy about 6”. I discovered that what I thought was a calcium or potassium deficiency was actually a rookie grower error by me. I have an RO system that I use to water all my strains in the grow room including this one, but when adding nutes to the water, it takes too long so I had been filling them up with well water. When I had originally tested the well water, I must had used a faulty testing agent as after testing it this last week, I was showing a pH of 7.5 vs. my RO of 6.2. Thus, every time I was adding nutes (multiple times a week) I was significantly fluctuating the pH between regular feedings and nutrient additions. To make matters worse, when I originally thought it was nute burn, I flushed each plant with well water and likely caused additional stress. Anyway, I have since learned that the well water needs to be treated, I only utilize RO water the last few days and plan to do so over this next week. Also, I have turned off the CO2 system as I was starting to see signs of heat stress on a couple of the strains (not this one). The literature I have reviewed suggested that these strains might be able to handle heat closer to 90F but it was also causing issues with high humidity so when I added a dehumidifier, it pushed the day temp to between 90-92F and the overnight temps were not getting low enough (maybe 85F or so). Maybe I could leave out the dehumidifier, but I was getting rH of 70% and didn’t want to risk any bud rot or mildew growth. So for now, I have turned off the CO2 and am getting high temps of 81F with 60% humidity and overnight temps of 74F and 50% humidity. The Future #1 has shown the least signs of stress and is fattening up its buds very nicely. Over the next few weeks I will start monitoring the trichomes for a nice milky color for harvesting.

USB FANS -- Small usb fans at the end of ducting are effective intake air filters. HOWEVER the fans are cumbersome the wires are a pan in the as. design 2 part clip gravity 4 inch wire. twists thru fan . ONE tlong up the tube for balance other to CLIP on to duct. 3am clips are good new designs emerging. fasting all night so I can work and get new ideas. fans are a go, we have a new design using clips, no external wires. the load bearing usb wire is safe, not load bearing to the connections just the cable, its perfect.. This one got a late transplant it's only been in the new pot for 2 or 3 days, the other one is still in a solo cup I might put it in a 1 gallon bag as a back up but I'm tryin to keep it to 1 of each strain other than the gelato and lemon ak. They got moved into the 4x4 with the jimmy rigged 180w quantum board light built from ceiling tile grid. The tnb co2 is newish but I gotta get the heat up and bring in a more powerful light to take full advantage.

Flattened canopy a little by bending and gently cropping stems over several days. Dropped hours of light to 16 and switched to a spectrum more suited to flowers. Saturday I switched to 12, I forgot for a second this strain is 100% Sativa, I thought she wouldn't stretch much because the PPFD was high. Never noticed such an obvious change in temperament from a plant overnight, it has been a sleepy, lazy leaf veg cycle for the most part, there are no signs of flowers yet ofc, but just the way she exploded into a more satellite disciplined formation, ITS TIME, so it begins, no turning back now....... my poor electricity bill.

Smallest ones from the actual Grow. No fertilizer till they are bigger. Want to test the Strain. I will keep them small. Maximum 4 weeks of vegetation. Then 12/12 with topping and Lst. If i like the result i do them bigger next time.

Well watering @ 6.0 every two days, Put 75% power of the light @ 37cm ~ 15 inch. My dog eat half of a leaf while i was doin PH 😂 First leafs looks weird//sick 🤔 Maybe my "problem" is the low humidity around 50%, probably too slight. Let's go and let's improve 😁

Ginger nut cookies and Aussie Music Videos update 20th Feb 2020 On Monday just past, I started to leave this plant out at night thus reducing light hours to the same as a regular outdoors Plant. This should induce flowering as all my other Photoperiod dependent strains are now in Flowering mode. Thru the use of Topping and LST training I have managed to create lots of potential bud sites for this plant to develop into lovely sticky and stinky Buds. Later on today I will do some more LST & As soon as I see pistils developing I will begin to add P+K to the soil by using Guano , Mollasses , Liquid potash, comfrey teas ,Compost teas and Worm castings. The smell of the stems is increasing in strength and has a blend of Red diesel stink mixed with cookies dankness. 😛 Now for the Weekly Music Videos yes I say videos because there will be three 🙏 Last week I chose The Divinyls but this week I thought I would do something different and ask the People what they wanted to hear. 22/5 just given them 20l fresh water per tray which is done (2 times a week). Feed schedule 📅 changed 2.4ml per ltr (bloom) 1.8ml per ltr (micro) 0.8ml per ltr (grow) 10ml per 20 ltr tray. (Flowerbomb) Had a problem with (smaller plants) tray. Which was too with pump luckly i have a spare so have changed them over. I have kept this tray on a pre Flower schedule now they have a better pump i believe they will pick up speed. So far so good fingers crossed 🤞 😊

Week 3 (27-11 to 3-12) What's good everyone? We started this week off topping the lady and removing the 2 bottom shoots. The next day Santa came early 😁 Got 2 new clip fans and the AC5 Power strip from Spider Farmer. The power strip has 5 outlets you can control in the app, they can be turned on based on a time cycle, humidity or temps. It comes with a sensor that monitors light, temperature, and humidity. And a soil sensor that monitors soil moisture (VWC), temperature, and electrical conductivity (EC). It also has a light adapter to connect 2 lights, that can be controlled in the app aswell. The app shows the current VPD, i try to keep this around 1.0. In the middle of this week we increased the light intensity from 30% to 35%. LUX: 13.000/13.500 to LUX: 15.000/15.500 This week's growing conditions were 17.9°C to 22.4°C with a humidity of 55.5% to 67.6% and watered 2 times with 0.5L. See you next week!

This week was good, stopped feeding nutes, ro water only, the buds are so solid, nice and thick. Didn’t think this was going to be so big, the 16”x16” fits the growbed perfect, it the plant is a little cramped, a 24”x24” would be perfect, as the branches would be able to droop more and allow more light to some lower growth. However after this I’m using these tents to do smaller scrog plants, which are photos. And I’ll do the auto-flowers in a more open environment.
