Had to check weather constantly to move the babies in the shelter in case of storm, since I don't want water causing moisture in the buds. I'm using stupid diary info (lamp distance growing outdoor, nutrient = none, ...) because of how GD algorithm work. Sorry for this. )

15/08/24 (FD 22): Started to give my girls some more bio bloom to boost Phosphate & flower development, for now they seem to handle the extra nutes with no problem what so ever! Also the stretch seems to be done and they reached 1m in height. I wonder how tall they would have gotten if I wouldn't have topped them in week 3? There is one really weird mutation in the big girls which results in a flat stem with a bend and stunted top...I am really curious to see flower development on this one! I hope they will reach their maturity in 6 weeks so I can harvest before October when it will get humid & rainy! Stay tuned

This week, Tart Pops got a serious upgrade — moved into a big 50L pot and loving the legroom! Roots were wrapping tight around the old pot, so it was time to stretch out and settle in. Gave her a solid flush to clear out any leftover salts before the big shift. She’s heading straight into flower mode in the tent after this — lights, camera, pistils! Expecting explosive growth in the next 7–10 days as she settles into the new digs and switches gears. Let the bloom begin! Week 16 I added new tie-down and tried to fill the tent as much as possible. The Aroma is amazing coming from the tent with super sweet berry tones. Trichomes are all still clear and no stunt in growth has been detected. I've gone back to a 90 degree rotation daily and a hybrid watering schedule with 1L from top and 1L subirrigated alternating days to keep nutrients in play hoping to prolong flushing the plant over the next 2-3 weeks instead of over a single week. Pests have not re-emerged since the spray but nonetheless less ill be spraying again partway through the week. The buds are mainly all golf ball sized now with the colas starting to fill out nicely. I cannot wait to try these mouth watering buds. Day 6 As the week progressed we saw a filling of the branches, the internodal spacing was almost perfect for this plant which is nice considering all things. As seen on the video, the trichomes are mainly clear on a lot of the outer buds but the more centralized buds are appearing cloudy. Regardless going for a 85/15 cloudy/amber trichome ratio. So 3-4 weeks more possibly, observation will be crucial.

Due to problems with autoflower genetics and refusing to flower. I am pleased with final result. I knew my yield would take a hit by using 3 gallon pots. Just was not planning for these plants to take damn 100 days. Roots were coming thru bottom of bags. Not good. But happy results and beautiful purple nugs. See what the cure does. Edit/ update: with few days of curing smell and taste have dramatically improved. There is basically no woody taste or smell, just grapey and sour with a hint of spicy. I change my strain score to 9/10. Due to not being able to update after 1 hr of original post. The only reason I give a 9 is because of Flowering problem. Update: week of curing smooth as butter and fruity and flowery flavor mellow draw with a little kick no harshness at all. Pleseant take.

Here's the weekly rundown: Automated Watering: This is cool! I've set up an automated watering system that I can control through a Telegram bot. Hello, technology! 🤖💧 Defoliation: Last week, we did some defoliation, trimming off the unnecessary leaves. This helped the plant focus more on flowering. Sometimes less is more, right? Final Week! Amazing grow! In the process of flushing. I have runoff ppm around 200. Still need to flush more and get runoff ppm under 100 then will chop. Probably 4 more days.

Day15 - Day17: I had some difficulties to get the humidity right. It was either too high or fluctuating too much. I ended up getting a timer for the plug and running the humidifier 15mins every hour. To help with air flow, I have the main duct fan running 4 times a day for an hour. To ensure that there's airflow around the plant, I have a fan in the light as well as a smaller clip-on fan that runs during light hours. I'm not sure how the camera moved on day17... I only watered it mid-day. Day18: The timer on the humidifier and Duct Fan is now keeping the humidity in a good space. VPD now under control Day19: The Vivosun controller perfectly adapted the lighting schedule to an hour earlier, to ensure 6hrs of darkness. UInfortunately the RPi kept it's 04:00 schedule (makes sense). So I captured an hour of darkness. Adapted everything. Will have 18hrs again from Day20 onwards. Day20: In the next days I'll lift the camera higher for a better view of what's happening up top. My mesh-netting-dingsbums will arrive and I'll use this as a platform for the pi+camera. Day21: I'm not sure if I like this angle. I'll only keep it like this until she goes into veg-mode. It at least shows the new nodes growing from different perspective

This week is about bud growth... Nitrogen has stop being used... Just removing dead fan leaves and letting the plant do its thing

Now I have the lights at 100%, and the canopy at about 4’ tall. Water on the weekends mostly, get about 5 days between waterings. Daily checkups on the tent for temps and humidity. Girls are looking happy all around, forming beautiful buds stacked up the stocks. Glad I’ve got more seeds of this strain to play with in the future too after this haul. 🤙
