She Is A Slow Grower....

7/20 Went over this morning to plants soaking wet and heavy rain. Went back around 4pm and plants actually look really good. The rain has stopped for a bit and the girls looked great. Apart from some septoria leaves I needed to defoliate on the first plant I treated. I also noticed a few others on other plants so it's spreading albeit slowly. I treated the three in the middle with their second dose of Plant Doctor at 3tsp/1gal. One gallon administered to each plant via root drench. I think I may treat the other plant showing signs with a diy Dr. Zymes using citric acid as the active ingredient. That way I Gould start treatment right away without having to rely fully on plant doctor. Plus it would kill any pests. Ive seen damage but the birds do a number on them. I dont want to spray my plants with a bunch of chemicals if I don't have too. I shouldve replaced the pallets and cleaned the cage better. I think I did a good job sanitizing as I have no wpm. Just this septoria I probably got when the lady mowing the lawn cut all tjis fucking grass and blew it in my pen, throwing bird seed and I'm sure tons of disease into my grow bags. I literally had to harvest a bunch if fucking sunflowers. It looked like my plants had been mulched. Just with small disease carrying shrubs. At some point some of this stuff has to be on purpose. You CAN'T be that stupid. A couple kushes in the back look hungry. I think I may need to up my feed. I've written to much. I'll keep this updated. Thanks if you made it this far. 7/21 I guess it rained last night. Oh well. It was blue skies for hours before dark. It must've rained late/early morning. I'm sure the app of plant doctor will be fine. Like I said I'm considering using citric acid as a foliar spray to help with the septoria and clean up any pests. I don't have enough pests to warrant spraying. I just don't want to put all my eggs in the plant doctor basket. Today is overcast and windy. The wind has really assisted in spreading this virus. I remove anything I see infected immediately and since these plants are reveges they have plenty of leaves. Plants are really stretching. I know I talk about the septoria a lot but realistically if someone looked through my garden they'd have a hard time spotting it. I don't want to exaggerate the problem but I don't like dealing with ANY fungus or molds.

grow room adjustments this week. plants are now more spread out under a total of 5 600w HPS lights. 3 fastbuds plants have an additional 45w LED light. by week 3/4 they will occupy my whole grow space and an additional 3 600w HPS lights will be added. Plants are looking healthy and 10 or so have been topped for the first time on day 8. dinafem cookies are looking very good in structure. will upload pics every day until harvest! thanks for looking. UPDATE day 12 veg, they are looking beautiful better than i expected. there are 36 in 15litre pots now and i cant wait to make my final grow room upgrage next week and for my room to be looking like a forest! im hoping for 2-3kg off these girls and only time will tell. i will keep doing daily updates until harvest

Day 14 Veg: A great start to the week once they settled into their new pots. hopefully i havent stunted their progress. The mutant Banana Mash is now trying to normalise a little more with new growth. Still fairly twisted but on the mend. The other 3 are more typical of new plants with their growth . I have topped one and fimmed another with one being left natural at this point. They are on their 5th node mainly ( except mutant!) and I am hoping to open their frames right up to get light to all new growth equally. I don't think they will grow too tall by design and I don't want to limit their growth in any way so i will gently manage them as they grow. The Purple Monkey are doing brilliantly so far with plenty of vigorous growth among them. I am holding the 5th nodes down on two of them and have fimmed one. These are in bigger 60L pots so should use the space to its best I think. I also have 2 plants that came from the recent harvest. One of the ladies must have had a pollen sack hid away that managed to seed a few of the exotic girls amd visited some possible viable hybrids. 2 of these are now in the grow alongside. I will be watching them like a hawk and any sign of a testicle will result in a slaughtering of the LGBGTQ sympathiser instantly . lol We do male or female only unlike the human race !!. heehee ( bit of a political hot potato!). I gave them an actual megacrop feed today to boost the available elements for the speedy growth coming. The L.o.s is still active and providing enough nutrition but I am trying to avoid the drop once the stretch period gets busy and saps the available food from it. This seems to have been happening most crops since beginning using it to avoid the leaves losing their solent green colour too fast like starvation can cause. I also added a touch of calmag to counter the L.e.d leeching that often occurs in flowering. So there we have it Growmies. A good week with the beginning of l.s.t and some promising growth. Another issue that I have managed to resolve is the R.h. We are getting warm dry air now so the room is getting silly hot and very dry at around 40% . This is great for the flowering times but has been an issue for veg in the past. not wanting to invest in a humidifier that is costly and expensive to run , I had resulted to using towels in buckets to attempt to raise it this does work in a totally sealed tent , in my leaky d.i.y "tailored " one , this has been hard to maintain. The solution came in the form of a vicks vaporiser that I bought from fleabay. It works perfectly to bring up the rh to around 70% on its lowest setting. The tank is enough to hold a days supply of water and shuts off with the lights. simple but effective fix to a common problem we face indoors. Be safe and well. Until next time. Week 4 for Kalini Asia by zamnesia seeds, Shes doing pretty good considering her age.. Ill be topping her again fairly soon just giving her some growing space.

Sorry again for the poor media content. The project was coming to an end and I was starting with another one, my first hydro grow. Pollen was kept fertile and used after with great results too. Sadly I don't think I have the notes where I counted how many seeds came from this plant, but well see, I'll keep digging.

Throughout the week I top dressed each with 3 tbsp of dry fert and more super soil. Giving em cal mag water also just because my other set of plants want it as well. Bit of discoloration throughout the canopy, since these girls only got 3-4 weeks left I'm not worried. Might try a different combo of dry ferts with a higher P/K for flowering since they went through veg no prob. Got another cycle of Mephisto illuminautos on week 1 so I'll post those for my next grow. Think the Gelato will be ready to be pulled in 1-2 weeks and the NL/LSD in 3-4. peace

This past week brought intense sunlight and scorching heat, but no changes were made to the technique – I still rely entirely on nature’s rhythm. No additives, no boosters – just clean tap water and occasional Plagron Bat Guano top-dressings every 10 days. 🌿 Growth & Structure After recovering from the strong winds and heavy rain earlier this month, the plant has bounced back stronger than ever. The main cola is stretching tall and proud, and the side branches are developing nicely with consistent flower formation. 🔎 Health Observation The leaves remain lush green with no signs of deficiency or stress. The overall structure is symmetrical, with good internodal spacing and healthy development. Some light purple tint appears in the petioles – likely a natural trait under current temperature fluctuations. 💡 Minimalist Approach This grow has been intentionally simple – an experiment to see how far genetics and nature alone can take a plant. The result so far is impressive, especially for a FastBuds autoflower grown without any synthetic nutrients or intensive care. 🌸 Flowering Stage The plant is now in full flowering mode. Start of week 4 8/23/25

It was a good week, with some good growth. The ladies have settled in and are a starting to reach up. I’ve been keeping the environment steady at about 78 degrees, and 60-62% humidity. It goes down to about 70 degrees at night. I’ve been watering sparingly still, about 1 cup of water every third day. Near the end of the week they were getting 2 cups and have lasted more than two days without showing they are needing again. I decreased the light schedule to 18 hours, and they seem to be benefiting from the dark cycle, or less DLI. LST will start next week! Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️
