Day 71: Beautiful big frosty extremely smelly buds! They keep stacking and throwing put new white pistils. Trichs are clear and cloudy. I got the smell under control with a new filter, but when I open the tent it is like a smack in the face (but in a good way). I gave her 2L of water with nutrients. More leaves are slowly fading purple too. Day 73: 2L of water with nutes Day 75: I am leaving for a week to travel to a funeral. Death puts so many things in perspective. I asked my girl to give the plant 2L of plain water 3 days from now and then I'll water again when I get back. Today I gave her 2L of water with nutrients and pulled off a couple yellow leaves. The fore ast calls for rain, so I raised the light and will leave it on 24hrs to keep the humidity from rising too much. Anyway, now I have 2 fans circulating air in the tent, so there is a lot of airflow. The buds continue to grow as you can see in the pics. The smell is strong!

She seems to be doing a lot better since the foliar spray last week. Leaves are a dark green now and the stalks are more malleable due to the silica. Did another Silica foliar spray this week as well. 12 gal of water and it is supposed to rain on them today. Fingers crossed!

From website seed stocker they said this BCN need 75 days to harvest. So, at the end of week 11(77days) is very nearly to harvest day. Next trichrome check found almost 75-80% already cloudy. I thing if no any problem should be ready in next 1-2 week.

The Frostbanger is progressing well and has become extremely frosty over the past week. Buds are stacking nicely and continue to develop in a healthy and uniform way. Unfortunately, the pest issue is still present, although the plant remains vigorous despite the damage. If everything continues as expected, I estimate around two weeks remaining until harvest.

Day 5 since time change to 12/12. Hey everyone ☺️. Finally the time has come :-) The lady moved into the flower tent on January 6th, 2021 😁. The day before, of course, a cutting was taken 👍. In the flowering tent, the distance between the plant and the lamp is 40 cm so that she can get used to the strength of the lamp. After 3-5 days I go down to 30 cm. This week it was watered twice with 1 l per plant. GHSC enhancers were added to one wash :-). Flower fertilizer will only be added in 12-16 days as soon as the first blossoms are there :-). Otherwise the tent was completely cleaned and the humidifier refilled. For the next few days I have filled fresh osmosis water in canisters again :-). Next week I will remove the bottom shoots so that the energy doesn't end up going into small popcorn buds 😉. There is nothing more to report this week and I wish you all a lot of fun with the update 😀. All in all i ended up with almost 2.5ozs of some super nice rock hard buds and another oz of some larfy smaller buds i made into cannaoil with coconut oil!! I will grow her again for sure but next time i will start it in my big tent and let her stretch her arms and legs out and see if i can get a monster!!!

Die Chocholate Mint wird wohl die beste Pflanze des grows, weniger Thripsbefall, minziger Duft und echt schöne Buds!

Week 6 (Day 42) - This week was a lot more manageable with temps as it has cooled off. I also was able to pick up a portable AC unit that has dehumidifier built in. I Macgyver’d a bunch of ductwork so I can run a hose to my tent, Amazing 🤩. I have been able to run consistent at 74 degrees with lights on, and 68-69 degrees with lights off, and humidity between 43-50 % Lots of new growth this week at the bottom canopy, both bud and leaf. Kinda gives me a better idea of timeline with this strain, I think it’s going to go 10-11 weeks from what I see online. Trichomes are still clear, but the hairs are turning nice colours, and I think I se me a touch of pink starting…👀 Buds continued to thicken, again, not huge by any means, but the ones that were small are fattening up, and there are so many of them 🤗 I think I’m going to feed nutrients this week, Monday is the start of week 7, and assess the situation then to determine when to start straight water feeds to begin the flush…
