~ DUTCH PASSION / SUPER SATIVA SEED CLUB FAST FLOWER 'TESTER' A and 'TESTER' B ~ Well cannafam, here we go again on another growing adventure together! This diary will be special to me for two reasons, one because I have the opportunity to cultivate some new and exciting strains from two of the TOP breeders in the industry! The second reason this will be special to me is that I will be growing these two strains in a brand new greenhouse that I put up! I'm super stoked to see how these two ladies turn out in this new setup. On to the strains: 'Tester' Strain A info: Hybrid (I/S) | 6-7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Sweet, Candy 'Tester' Strain B info: Indica-Dominant (90%) | 7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Peppery, Sweet I hope that you enjoy this run as much as I will... It's going to be fun and interesting for sure! ~GROW WHAT YOU LOVE, LOVE WHAT YOU GROW!~ ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: These beauties will be growing in a brand spanking new 10x14' greenhouse that I have equipped with automatic window openers, a complement of Hurricane fans and a de-humidifier/heater to help keep the environment as dialed in as possible. I started both tester in glasses of tap water, where they soaked for 24hrs. After soaking, they were placed directly into whole eggshells with just their tops removed to make a natural seed starting pot that I filled with a 70/30 blend of Coco/Perlite which was pre-moistened with well water ph'd to 6.2, then placed under a 50w full spectrum LED on a 24hr light schedule. Once, they both have their second set of leaves emerged, I plan on starting to put them in the greenhouse for 2-3 hour a day for a few days to help them acclimate and 'harden off' in the greenhouse. I'll be starting both off in 1qt pots, then transplanting them into to gradually larger pots until they're around 6 weeks old, then they will go into their final pots which are 25g fabric pots. I mix my initial medium using 3 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics 4-4-4 along with 1 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics Glacial Rock Dust for the trace minerals it provides, 1 tbsp/g of Down To Earth Kelp Meal, 1 tbsp/g of Trichoderma/Mycorrhizae, and 1 cup/g of Wiggle Worm Castings. I hand mix my amendments to ensure an even distribution throughout the medium. I'll be watering with well water ph'd to 6.2-6.8 and providing bi-weekly compost tea's throughout the run. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/1- Week Three of veg is here for the pair of 'Testers' from SSSC/Dutch Passion Seeds. Both 'Testers' continue to do exceptionally well despite temp's in the greenhouse reaching just over 90℉ at the peak of the day. Both continue to show great vigor, color and are both constantly 'praying'! 5/3- Watering both continues every 2-3 days depending on what the plants want. Both girls are looking like champs! 5/5- Today I watered both with 8oz. of well water, to which I added 1 tsp. of Uncle Willies Worm Tea Concentrate. 5/6- Well fam, the Third week of veg is in the rear view mirror for these two beautiful 'Testers' from SSSC and Dutch Passion. Unfortunately, I have to go out of state for 7-10 days because of a family emergency, so I won't have pic's for next week. I will have a family member looking after the plants in the greenhouse to make sure all survive until I return! Hey yall, It's been a minute, I have been super busy out of town again. All is good though, the flowers are fattening up. Still not a fan of Beaver Seeds. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BEAVER SEEDS, just to be clear. They don't respond, like super sativa club, lol. I email and contact their website, zero response. So pick a breeder you can trust and has open communication. Otherwise they are greedy and most likely have shitty genetics. I popped two feminized seeds, one was a runt from the start, she died when my Temps hit 90 Fahrenheit, which is absolutely 💯 bullshit. I use potassium silicate, frass, aloe and everything that should help with heat stress, so this one is on the breeder. Anyways, they hardly have many trichomes, despite my shit being dialed to the max, PPFD. VPD, water only soil with dry amendments and weekly compost tea applications. That always dumps trichomes for me. Genetics are 90 percent of the game, we can control up to 10 percent as the growers. Well you can see what I mean. Week 6 of flowering now, so yeah I missed a couple weeks, but you know how it is. Life is nuts and you have to work to pay those electric bills. I already popped new seeds from a much better breeder, I literally cannot wait to chop these girls to pieces, and making RSO out of the entire run, I ain't even smoking this shit. Lol. Sorry I didn't throw up any tutorials this week, but check previous weeks for detailed recipes. I did add fermented Banana peels, overly ripe ones to help push flowering maturity. Also added fermented kiwi, overly ripe again to push end of flowering. Also added Willow water, and a ton of fermented aloe and some frass I got from a buddy. So the real breeders don't make shit up, they work their strains and stress test their genes to ensure there is no bullshit, get in touch with your breeder. Dia 134 y semana 6 de floración,ultimo dia de vida de las plantas. Este año ha sido un poco raro las plantas han crecido como monstruos tuvieron un crecimiento espectacular un tallo muy grande y junto con sus ramas flexibles y muy resistentes. Pero al llegar el engorde de floración no se porque les falto el empujon final para hinchar el cogollo, tiene muy buena pinta , mucha resina y muy fuerte buen olor pero me esperaba mas en la fase final. Cortamos ya que tambien habian orugas y no terminaba de eliminarlas por completo, la semana que viene era entera de lluvias así que decidi cortar un poco mas temprano para poder prevenir cualquier mal mayor, hay mucha gente que le gusta cortar antes de tiempo ya que el efecto es muy diferente, este año probaremos que tal.

Milky Way F1 grew so nice, this run was pretty automatic! Plant 2 grew big, and she had the least amount of problems in the cycle. LST worked well on her, even though I got there late.

31 Aug. I start the third week of my autoflower. The plant is growing well, but I noticed small yellow spots on the leaf tips, which seem like a mild calcium deficiency. This is probably due to the fact that so far I have been giving water with a slightly low pH, around 6, while the ideal range would be 6.5–7. At the beginning, to lower the ppm of the tap water (which was around 211 ppm), I mixed it with demineralized water. This brought the ppm down to about 109–140, making it harder for the plant to absorb the available calcium. Additionally, the soil I am using, Biobizz Light Mix, is lightly fertilized but does not contain enough calcium to correct this small initial deficiency. For this week, I will not add any fertilizers. I simply want to raise the pH to 6.5 and use water with higher ppm, so the plant can better absorb the nutrients already present in the soil. The lamp is positioned about 35–36 cm from the plant and so far there are no burn issues. Temperatures range between 25 and 30 °C depending on the day, while humidity in the room stays between 40–60%. The humidifier is always on because I keep the window open, but the dehumidifier is not being used, as it is not necessary at the moment. I also have a new oscillating fan arriving to replace the current fixed one, and I’m waiting for a regulable extractor (90–145 m³/h), which will allow me to control the air perfectly during winter if needed. This week my main goals are: Increase the water ppm without overdoing it Adjust the pH to 6.5 Keep observing the plant without adding any fertilizers Everything else seems fine and growth is regular. With these corrections, I expect the new leaves to grow healthy and free of spots. ==UPDATE 31/08== To control the calcium deficiency, I will administer an eggshell solution until I reach 300 ppm (I will boil some eggshells and administer the solution in tap water). ==Update 4 Sept== By mistake, I adjusted the pH twice, once to 7 and once to 8, and obviously the plant immediately showed symptoms of incorrect pH. At the next watering, I'll give Biobizz Grow with a little Biobizz Bloom since the plant has entered pre-flowering. I'll adjust everything to a pH of 6-7 and a ppm of 450-500.

Great growth from all the girls this week. Stretched massively. I have done a major defoliation to let more light to bud sights. 95% flowers are in light now. I will do another Small defoliation next week. Dry amended top soil with bat guano, worm castings and bio life. Should be enough to bring them into mid flower. I had a slight fungus knat issue but got some nematodes and they are starting to clear along with sticky traps. I have also taken cuttings from a few of the girls to cross a few of the stronger strains and create my own strain. First time I will be doing this so excited to see how it turns out.

Allerdings bleibt die Blütenausbildung etwas hinter der Skywalker OG, was sich dann wohl in einer längeren Blütezeit zeigen wird. Daher gehe ich davon aus, dass der Stretch allmählich abgeschlossen ist. In der folgenden Woche bekommt die Pflanze nun einen Kompostee von Biotabs NL. 💚

Girls are doing well with the LST. Kosher cake was topped last week and now has what looks like 8 heads. 3rd of June have given the girls living soil veg.
