Hi Growmies. I hope we are all well and in the green?. Even though still a little quiet on here at the moment , I hope my video can help someone to try training their plants and watch the results as we progress. It may seem long but I did all 4 girls and wanted to show the hardiness of these amazing species of plants. They have all really settled in over the past week and the reporting did not slow them down too much bit seems. seeing how much the Brice banner had ballonwd along with the Jealousy #1 was an unexpected surprise. Both ladies have enough nodes to really get to work with now . they didn't bat an eyelid at the topping and just of the new growing shoots. The "pop and twist" with thumb and forefinger is a great way of keeping the branches where you ideally want them to stay. it will help create a nodule that will be both string and very good as a distribution point for the uptaken nutes from the soil. The limbs will thicken too and help create the shape that I need before flipping to flowering. The two smaller girls have come back with a brilliant green cour thanks to the mega crop and its magical powers. lol Both are wnow close to their host training points and hopefully will have caught up by the next diary entry. I want to get their tips to the pots edges before that point so that I can create the upward spikes of the chosen flowering limbs. keeping the lower sprouting growth on each limb will.allow all the energy to go into creating hopeful merristems. We want them all to think they are the main stem to get an even boost of available nutrition without feeding lower potential popcorn growth which can be an issue with l.e.d and penetration. The idea is to create a canopy of main buds if we can fool the plant enough. fingers crossed and I hope you can join me on this journey.

Just a little defoliation this week, not much else. The main cola is getting nice and big and it’s very dense. The rest of the coals are not very big but this plant has got little buds growing all over the place. I think this plant still has a couple of weeks to go but will have to wait and see, the pistils are still pretty white. This is my first time growing so i don’t have anything to compare this small size to, might be genetics or it might be that I stunted this early on by not watering from the bottom or wrong water ph or what have you.

White Widow is looking amazing!!! I continue to be impressed by Seedsman strains. Huge bushy leaves, nice green color and she grew a ton this week. Overloading with Recharge is giving me AMAZING results. I'm going to continue giving 1 tbs/gallon, the plants love it (and so do I) 👍

The harvest of the first medusa F1 hybrid at day 93 after germination. The trichomes were starting to turn amber. I probably could have let her ripen for a bit longer. I am amazed how fat she has gotten, the weight of the flower is too heavy for the branches. Way to go RQS for breeding such a fast growing autoflower. She is already in the drying tent for 5 days now at a temperature of 19 °C with a humidity of around 55-60%. I want a nice and slow drying process to preserve the terpenes and cannabinoïds. This will take about 2 weeks in my opinion, when the branches start to give a clean snapping sound when bending. I will make a harvest blog once the flowers are dried and I have weighed the buds for the yield. This lady only received some LST and a little defoliation throughout the entire grow. I also dont flush the plant at the end since this myth was debunked by a scientific article. A flush is only needed if you overfed the plant. Dr bruce bugbee also confirmed this. The dry tent smells of hay/grass, which is logical because the plant still has a lot of chlorophyll inside. Untill the harvest blog! Check my other Medusa F1's for the progress of the experiment. Hey guys :-) . Today the plant was sprayed again with neem oil. There weren't any more trips to be seen after the second application, but to be on the safe side, you did it again today get a cure. That's why the beautiful dark shimmer on the leaves :-). The ladies are developing well and have 1 week before I change the time to flowering. Normally I would let it get bigger and train because the tent only has 80x80 and 180 watts are available, so I will switch it over soon enough. This week it was poured twice with 0.8 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). Otherwise everything was cleaned and, as always, everything was checked.
