If any plant in my tent showed me its displeasure for my kindergarten growing skills it was this plant . I'm beggining to whip her back into shape now but I'm sure I took a week off her life . She never really stopped growing but never looked that healthy after week 3 but began budding regardless .

After top dressing and working the amendments in by hand I replaced the straw coating over the soil and watered them in with 5g of straight well water via garden hose as usual. There goes another week for the Wedding Cheesecake FF and it won't be long before she begins to show signs of pre-flowering! Week 8: the last week of veg for Gigi! During these days I've started watering normally again with ph'd water and some additive. This week was really flat: nothing bad or good happened, I think it's time to put her 12/12 and start the flowering session. I'll defoliate the next week, she need some chill before the light change. I'm troubleshooting with my reflex and pc right now, this old stuff doesn't work. 😑 However I've managed to do something. Making some beats and growing right now and I'm feeling good after work😁

Having a lux meter has improved my grows so much. Knowing your DLI and where the hottest/coldest parts off your plants (ppfd wise) is just really the next step in adding that thing to your grow(s) that sets your next crop from your last. As I'm a long way from where I want to be. My next crop will focus on 2-3 plants. Doing 35 really is its too much work. Timing and moving plants around as there all at different stages. Like autos in pre fower will only take about 35-40dli before showing stress (drooping for ages after lights out or near the end of lights on) but, really you only see it about 20m after lights out. So its kinda of a ritual for me to check my girls after I put them to bed. Also doing 3-4 swaps and plant moves in and out of my dark room, or moving from the 70cm2 into my 1m2 (having a same spectrum of very close is a must if you're going to reg change lights/tents. As for this strain. She's really happy. Bit of wind burn you can see my 360degree ball fan is to powerful on its lowest setting. I'm thinking of putting something to break the wind on her. I did remove the 1st true leafs/nodes much later than I did with my 2 Fastbuds (that stalled for a wk) but they're back strong. And no early flip. Really only thing I can think of is the DLI and not stressing them day in day out with lights out has improved all my plants. (Lux meter id suggest any grower who wants to push their limits) Maintenance 1st True leafs/nodes removed to help energy move to the next more important sets. Very little to no feed. I'm keeping her going with Fish force and Royal mix soil. This week I'll be adding Xpert Nutrients. I have already said everything, in principle, I advise everyone to grow this variety, I got an amazing tree half purple with giant cones and a large harvest, I am delighted!

So am 15.05. hab ich nun das Licht umgestellt. Eigentlich wollte ich den Pflanzen noch mehr Zeit in den Töpfen geben aber die Zeit wird knapp zu meinem Sommerurlaub daher muss das ihnen reichen. In den nächsten zwei Wochen wachsen haben sie ja auch noch Zeit weiter zu wurzeln. Würde mich aber mal intressieren ob die Wurzeln in der Blüte irgendwann das Wachstum einstellen? Diese Woche haben die Pflanzen endlich mal etwas nach Dünger gerufen, dem Wunsch kam ich natürlich gerne nach. Versuch meinen VPD immer so auf 1,2 zu halten, denke das ist ein guter Kompromiss zwischen den Wachstumsstadien. Generell bin ich sehr zufrieden wie mein erster Homegrow so verläuft und das die Pflanzen so gesund sind. Macht aufjedenfall mortz den Spaß und hab auch schon sehr viel dazu gelernt.

11/17 stopped all nutrients and started flushing the medium until harvest. Watering the same schedule and amount, just plain well water ph between 7.3 to 7.6 The trichomes on this plant are crazy, sugar leaves, fan leaves and even the stem is covered in trichomes. Not much defoliation needed as leaves were pretty minimal throughout the grow.

Week 10 6/9-15 Lemon ladies love the outside. Both are showing yellowing leaves so everyone is getting nutrients with feedings. 6/13 heavy defoliation and limb removal for lemon cake since she's now in flower. Repositioned the scrog after defoliation so the thicker limbs are in the mesh. Drizzle, got light defoliation mostly yellowing fans. Before and after pics and vids. I saw a Japanese beetle on my Lemon Cake and some small holes in the leaves so I added 1/2 tsp neem to the feed solution 6/12. Also started using fish & kelp. I'm still watering 1 gal per plant when I feed. With the heat and humidity, I water daily.

smooth sailing with the new ph meter and the ladies are loving it. I am very pleased with how the flowers are coming on and they havent even reached the flowering stage yet! I will be starting the bulking nute in about 1-2 weeks and then well really see what these ladies are gonne do!!! Only things I really did this week is a little defoil here and there, feed and refresh the co2, I like when things are easy lol 😁

D53 - It's been a few days since my last entry, but I had the opportunity to spend a long weekend in Amsterdam, and who can say no to that? It's a mission to hook up the automatic drip irrigation for only a few days of travel, so I watered the girls thoroughly before leaving. Sure, they were thirsty when I came back but weren't drooping. The trichomes still show a bunch of clear, so chop day is still a bit off. The girls STINK! Or rather, they smell amazing but smell A LOT. It's that bad that I'm replacing the old carbon filter tomorrow. I was initially planning on replacing the filter after this grow, but my girlfriend starts to grumble a bit, so I better get to it... D56 - We're at the end of the eighth week of flower, and it is all a waiting game. I still see many clear trichomes, so that it will be another week or two before the chop. I'm a bit concerned, though, as we have had a lot of rain lately, and the general humidity is relatively high. This increases the humidity in the tent as well, and it is currently in the low 60s even though I have a small dehumidifier running. That is high this late in flower, and I'm worried about botrytis.
