Hey folks. Into week 5. Nothing much happening here, some lst, hst, topping and some more defoil. Broke a branch while applying lst and taped her back up. They have been consuming more water now so I increased it from 4L every 2-3 days to 6L for the larger gals.

Starting to really stink now the gorilla zkittles seems so fill out a lot earlyer than the purple berry kush will pics of each plant next feed. Also start the shooting powders next week witch will be 3weeks of shooting pwders then 2weeks flush cantbwaitbto see how these turn out as this is my 1st grown in around 8years

The plants are now putting all their energy into bud production, and it’s really starting to show!🌱 Both are developing bigger and bigger buds, and the smell is becoming more intense every day. #2 has an insanely large main bud, completely covered in trichomes. The aroma is very hazy, deep, and complex. it’s going to be interesting to see how it develops in the coming weeks. #1, on the other hand, continues to impress with its tropical, sweet, and pineapple-like scent, and its buds are also swelling up beautifully! Everything is going exactly as it should—excited to see how much more they’ll bulk up in the next weeks!💚

Veg Week 4 Day 28 to 34 - 4/24 to 4/30 A lot more to talk about this week. It's time to start the AutoPot resevoir feed, 2nd Topping, and Wire Training I waited until I saw 3 new nodes of growth (day 29) and then I topped those branches back to the first node leaving a stump for the new nodes to grab as they swell in growth. The branches are quite more stretched than I am used to, so a break is required on the Y branches as they thicken up. I tried not to break the skin and used knitting needles to smash the branches where I wanted them to bend. All went well. I then used ties to the soil to hold them down while they turn back up to the lights. By the end of the week I moved the wire ties to anchor on the main stem instead of the soil Feed this week was a reservoir feed of 200ppm total before add-ins. I used 200ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and then added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0). I then also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and ph balance this week was for 6.1 Feed plan next week will be a another ph decrease and nute increase. What up fam, weekly update on these gorgeous girls. They're showing preflowers now which I'm definitely happy as that means the stretch is almost over. I did add a 2nd scrog net its 6ft high. Now time to see them fatten up. Over all I couldn't be happier with how they've grown. Happy Growing.

End of Week 7 CO2 is definitely increasing growth rates but also changes the game with controlling your environment now that it has to be sealed in order to not waste CO2 unnecessarily. You change one thing and it adds many other variables to keep everything in check. I am learning everyday and that's why I grow. The trellis net is doing its job and the canopy is looking nice and even. I also added a soil top-up and top dress of some BioBloom and Mycorhizae so it can start breaking down before I flip to flower next week (Slow release dry organic amendments). And the ladies are using up nutrients in the soil much faster because of the added CO2 (another variable to take into consideration - faster growth = faster nutrient consumption) In detail: -Carefully removed trellis netting -Ammended each plant individually with my soil mixture and nutrients -Placed them back in the tent -Reinstalled trellis netting and trained the ladies to shape Pest Report: Thrips VS Ladybugs... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. I did not spray any insecticide this week and it really seems like the ladies are happy with my new method of bio-warfare and are wilting less and less often

Ok I finally see pistils coming in on this lil lady she is coming along slowly but surely hopefully she will fill up a little bit more over the next few weeks

Hope everyone had a great Christmas!!! We have had some crazy cold weather here the last 4 days and for the first time in 13 years had snow on Christmas day. So with the cold and snow came grow room issues. My grow space is outside and not attached to the house so maintaining a proper temperature and humidity has been a bit on the difficult side. Even with the lights running 24 hours, it's had a few drops down to 19c and the humidity has gone up to 68% a few times. Now luckly I'm still in veg and the humidity isn't a issue yet but the temperature has been making me worried. Going to put togther a heater with its own temperature switch increase it drops below 20c. Did some training over the last week with some LST and FIMing. With the LST every 3nd day I've been adjusting them and pulling the plants back a bit more and more. Since I don't think I'll be able to set up a SCRog net this go around (spent to much for Christmas and wont be able to affordthe PVC tubing) ive got to figure out something else and fast. Plants are getting big and it's going to get hard to bend then properly without braking stuff. Because I was showing some issues with 2 of my plants I started adding a bit of Revive to my res to see if they get better and they have. But because of the cold that's been hitting us my tank has had a hard time staying warm. Even with my 50w tank heater it's been fighting a up hill battle because the area outside the main room where the tank is, has been sitting around 14-17c. So with that the air pump I use to circulate the tank, it is pulling in cold air and thats been fighting the tank heater in getting it up to what I like it at. I tried using my water pump instead of the air pump for circulation and the res went up to 25.6c soooo I would much rather have 19c res then water that could kill my plants. So let's talk about the plants themselves. Both Special Queen plants are doing great but as you can see from the picture, one is doing absolutely amazing. Great growth (understatement) and has bounced back from training like a pro. The other plant is still doing really good when compared to all the other plants in the room but still could be a little bit better. Depending on what I'm going to do for supporting the plants this might be the last week of veg. Well see. Well that's all growmies. Happy growing everyone!!!

Ein schönes Wuchsbild verreint mit einer starken Indica Dominanz. Nach dem ausselektieren und dem anwachsen im neuen Topf, ging es letzte Woche noch an dass Toping der Pflanze. Dieser Genotyp entwickelt sich eher nahe liegend am Hauptstamm, was wir vom Wuchsverhalten aber eher nicht wünschen. Daher wird dieser Typ einfach für den Taste gegrowt. Wir sind mega gespannt, wie sich die Pflanzen weiter entwickeln. Nach der nächsten Woche Erholung wird noch ein Topping folgen. She has just transitioned to flower...she's a little slower than my Critical on the flowering so I was a little confused about wether she needed to be flipped to a 12/12 schedule. According to other growers, she is just fine on the 18/6. I did end up lollipopping her, just cuz she was so massive and plenty of budsites weren't getting close to enough light as the canopy I LSTed above. I can't wait to see her fatten up the next few weeks. As far as nutes go I am not gonna increase anything yet and stick to 3 tsp of all FoxFarm Trio Nutrients. It's been hot this last week, so temps were up a little more than should be. I just ordered a carbon filter, hoping to get more temp and stench control.

Welcome to week 6 of flower! Things are starting to shape up quite nicely and some of the plants are starting to get colourful! Its hard to capture on the current camera I'm using but my new one that's on its way should be much much better! Overall really excited to see what this week will bring! I will be checking some of the ladies trichomes to see how far along we are either this week or next week to give me an approximate harvest window! This is the start of week 8 of flower The girls are just about done now going to let them ripen for another week then going to snip a lower bud off to check under the microscope to see if they done The top colas are chunky with the lower buds around the size of golf balls, the left tree has solid buds and the right tree has less so solid buds. I can smell some amazing aroma emanating from the tent like a gassed up orange HAHAHA, When you agitate the plants they reek like skunk. Unfortunately ive been away for a few weeks so unable to get any pics while she was being looked after. But im back now! Here she is in week 5 of flower, with another week or so nutrients then a 2 week flush. So excited to try this for xmas🤩
