So fat banana finally got the chop. Started off well then had an influx of heat around mid flower, not a major problem as I dealt with it, just could have gone smoother. She flew through veg with no problems or complaints whatsoever. She was resilient and would grow her again. She smells so loud, covered in frost.. I have a few more pictures of the chop to upload but will do it in a little while. Such a unique scent from her, definitely tropical and banana peel type of aroma and taste(from test smoke). Been a pleasure to grow and can honestly say its some tasty smoke. Will do a proper smoke report after this batch has dried and then cured. Thanks for tuning in! Will be back -FlavoursUk

Beginning of week.. These girls are not looking too bad.. I believe the leaves are not spreading much of those issues anymore.. The medium is still spittin out acidic runoff tho.. The only thing I can think of is the roots from previous runs weren't completely removed.. The decomposing roots inside the medium may make the medium acidic af... But I still don't know 100%.. I read that in 1 forum but again.. Idk 100%.. *sigh.. I really hope I can complete this run with no major issues or hurting yields too much. Keeping my fingers crossed that this will somehow just fix itself lol.. Ugh.. But I am not giving up! I WILL fill this 2x4 tent with MASSIVE ETHOS COLAS! Gonna be topping soon.. As soon as the main stem is long enough to cut and still be able to leave some stem so that the top 2 branches don't spit. These 2 plants have very different branch sizes.. I believe its because of the light not being able to penetrate as much of the branches on the ETHOS Cookies due to the fan leaves being on such short stems. The Mandarin Cookies may take over more than half of the tent.. But that shouldn't be a major issue.. As long as both are getting great light penetration, I'll be happy.. Still not sure if I am gonna LST and ScrOG or just LST.. I really wanna ScrOG and try ir out. I just hope I do it right.. I think I may have it figured out.. Need a little more research! But the girls are doing good.. Temps are getting kinda high here and there.. But they don't seem to mind too much. I will be upping the FloraGro and keeping the Hydroguard in the mix, also.. If it can help with root issues in hydro, maybe it can help my issue too... It says it can turn decaying matter into food for the plants.. So I guess we shall see!... Later that night... So I fed late today and checked the runoff, as I always do.. It had been 3 days since I last watered/fed (flushed actually.. Then added 1L of nutes so she wouldn't be hungry)... *going in (each): - 3L @ 1000 PPM 6.4 pH *runoff: - Mandarin Cookies: 150 PPM 6.0 pH - ETHOS Cookies: 200 PPM 6.0 pH ... So the pH is possibly starting to balance back out! The runoff still did not contain this feeding or the last feeding when it comes to TDS in the runoff.. Unless these girls are drinking/eating it up like that! The roots at the drain holes are looking massive and healthy as can be! I can't imagine they are doing bad in there.. And they are growing quite well.. But I can't wait to get these girls going!!!.. Oh yeah.. I went ahead and topped them both.. Both have 6 nodes.. That is all.. Going to let these girls just start branching out and going to try and not mess with them much (if anything just tie some bramches down to help them all kinda even out.. A.k.a... LST lol) till it is time to lollipop and get ready for flower! Just feeding/watering and tucking leaves when I can so the new colas can start doing their magic! So excited!!! Next day... I found some Coca-Cola crates.. I'm gonna use them to raise the pot and saucers off the ground.. The saucer has been holding moisture underneath and creating a bit of a mildew-ey smell.. So now, I make sure I rinse the entire saucer.. Top and bottom.. With all the airflow in the tent, theybwill dry in 60 seconds no problem!.. But now the tops are 12 inches from the light.. The power is still at 25%.. And now the girls are getting around 300 - 350 μmols/m2/s or whatever it is lol.. Mid week.. Went ahead and fed her again today. I added the Kushie Kush (bloom booster) because it contains the most Potassium.. That is what most of these marks on the leaves are from, I believe.. The runoff pH came out at 5.8 and 5.7 today.. *sigh... I really need this to clear up.. Hmm.. Maybe FloraKleen??? I guess that's all I have left to try.. Flushing multiple gallons every day for 3 or 4 days wasn't enough.. It helped.. But damn, I think I need to pull out ths big guns to clear this up.. Gonna see what happens next watering (2 or 3 days) and see what the runoff is then.. May set it to go in at 6.5 or something.. Idk... Ugh.. I really wanna just try hydro lol.. I bet one plant in a 5 gallon bucket would do awesome in this tent with a ScrOG! Hmmmmm.. Lol... End of week.. Went ahead and lollipopped a little. Both plants.. Also tied some of the longer branches down some.. Once the higher up branches are a little longer, I can then get them all tied down and begin figuring out if I should ScroG.. All depends how this ETHOS Cookies does in the next week or so.. On to the next!...

Hi growers, Week two of flowering is here and everything is still going great. The plants are starting to focus more on bud development. One little surprise this week, one of the plants turned out to be a male. I’m pretty sure I just mixed up the labels on the pots 😄 But honestly, I don’t mind at all. He looks really strong and healthy, so I’ll definitely keep him around for some future breeding projects, even though that wasn’t the original plan. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Druhý týden květu je tady a zatím vše pokračuje skvěle. Rostliny se začínají víc soustředit na tvorbu květů. Máme tu ale malé překvapení, z jedné rostliny se nakonec vyklubal samec. Myslím, že jsem jen popletl označení květináčů 😄 Upřímně mi to ale vůbec nevadí. Vypadá opravdu silně a zdravě, takže si ho určitě nechám na nějaké budoucí křížení, i když to původně nebylo v plánu. The two Red Hot cookies were by far the fastest strains in this run. And also simply beautiful. Bag appeal: 10/10 Yield: 8/10 Pheno #1 47 gram dry Taste:? High: ? Once I did a smoke test. I will add the missing information! Pheno number #2 has significantly more yield than Pheno #1. Pheno #2 smells like bubble gum, I've never had that smell with a strain before. If I had room for a mother tent, pheno#2 would have gotten a spot there. I'm looking forward to the next harvests !:)

The plant kept stretching during this week. I'm a little bit worried as I don't see the flowers touching each other to form nice colas, but she's healthy so I can't complain, it's my first grow after all. Just hoping in fatter buds and not many popcorns. She's drinking a lot of water in these days and the EC was higher when checking it before the daily refill. Don't know why she's eating less, but I lowered it to 1.6 again. I give her what she wants. Keeping an eye on her development and trying to figure out when to add the P-K booster. No particular problems this week, everything is going ok. I gave her another (hopefully not too heavy) defoliation at day 59 so i guess I'm not going to touch her again till harvest.

Day 32 flower update Emerald Harvest nutes everything looks great...they're fattening up this week...they're all 60-70 day flower times as recommended by the breeders

Day 43 since seed touched soil. Hard week past. Those long not drinking days when cycle was taking 8 days to dry out made damage, i still see magnesium, but now added some rusty spots and i cant understand is it calcium or my spraying of Leaf Coat and burn. No spray this week, will check if new will appear. Because of troubles i postponed flip and top up till next watering. It should be in 4-5 days. Done huge clearing, few more new ties added, reajusted old. 4 liters of 6.3 phed dechlorinated water went in after training. AK grows very nice, branches thick, will have solid size colas, can see now. Was damaged least, but beeing picky you can see some ;)) Planning to create scrog this week too. Mars Hydro TSL2000 is on 70% output, thinking to increase it with flip to 75. Light is working fine , really covers all space , great affordable light for colder climate. Day 45. Girls recovered from training very nice ! In few days flip . Day 47. Girls got top up. Put first level of scrog. Flipped to 12/12, tent is rammed ;) light output on 75%, 4 liters of 6.3 phed water went in. Top up was dosed, mixed well and laid on top, then i rough and mix top lair of soil with top up and only then i water. All pots are 30 litres ( grams and ml , have in mind ) : Ecothrive - Biosys - 5 ml / pot Ecotrive - Charge - 120 ml / pot Ecothrive - Life Cycle - 60 g. / pot Ecothrive - Bio Blend - 200 ml / pot. Think this will be my standart top up, i run out of Great White, have for one top up, will do it in 2-3 waterings seperately from all. Planning to repeat same top up at begining of week 4 of flower. Girls look better without spraying, most prob burn from too intense light, despite me giving 30-60 min of reduced to minimum after spraying. From now on - only when lights off. Day 17 17/07/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag 5ml -5L. Very humid week, noticed a green turning colour on top of soils where the humidity has been far to high. I have installed door netting and recently left open all day and night now so they can condition over night in colder temps. All are doing well, one overdose slightly behind and looking ABIT swifted. But she'll come around 💪💚 Day 19 19/07/24 Friday Lite Feed today, 250ml each pot small run off. Seeing excellent start to these babies. Let's get it 👌💚 Day 21 21/07/24 Sunday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag 5ml to 5L. Watering in 1L each day from now. Updated video
