So today is the day i switch my plants to flowering lights schedule and flowering nutes, started with 1/4 the recommended dosage and will gradually up them, only boosters i left at recommended values. Ppm is 800. Next will be 1000, then 1200 and maybe 1400. I plan to flush on days 16, 28, 35 and 42 of flowering, leave them to dry for 4-5 days so roots will oxygenize and help to stack more dense buds, and then add nutes. I plan to do the final flush for last 2 weeks with flawless finish. You can see some before and after training photos and videos from today, defoliated some leaves and LST-ing branches, spreading them out last time so light can reach smaller branches, after all she got some more stretching to do and its why i left sensi grow with more Nitrogen. I spent a lot of time training them now, hopefully it will pay out with massive buds :) Stay tuned and bye bye, as always i am opened to every grower here, i will help and share advices with everyone, i love to exchange opinions in order to come to your own conclusion, people who talked to me so far already know that..

Last week I think. Nice amount of cloudy trichomes next week should show enough Amber to please me. Waiting game now. At least plant 1 is now smokeable. Starting to focus on the next now and letting these do their thing.

Starting a second seed of this Wedding Cake strain from Lifted, a rec grower. The first seed has some interesting mutations going on that I did not see in any of the four plants last year. Hopefully this one comes out strong and uniform. If it does, I鈥檒l likely clone it and hit the clone with some colloidal silver to reload. I have 9 seeds left, but it would be nice to have some extras. I really scored with these seeds. I put a few photos of a plant from the same seed stock. As you can see, the plant is very robust. I also found it very durable, pest and weather resistant. It also provides high yields. The research I鈥檝e done says that Lifted鈥檚 Wedding Cake strain comes from a clone of the Seed Junky strain, which I believe to be the original strain. Whether the seeds I found in my rec store purchase are from cross pollination, genetics or stress, I鈥檓 not sure. However, given that I popped 4 seeds last year and had four females, I feel pretty confident that the seeds are from stress or genetics. So they would be feminized. No topping, just some serious LST. This year, I plan to top the stronger of the two and FIM the other.

Day 16 : trichomes are starting to really show on newer leaves Day 18 : starting to smell really good & stretch is continuing. Cultivar might stretch more then average. Day 20 : Still stretching, nodal spacing is ok.

8 weeks / 56 days today. Growth has slowed down a lot this week luckily. Smell is getting really hard to contain now. Sticky orange buds still nowhere near as big as purple skunk but definitely a bit fatter than last week. Purple skunk buds are getting a lot fatter. Both are really sticky to the touch, looking a bit frosty close up and can see plenty of trichomes. Little bit of leaf burn but not a lot I can do because of the space issue so just tucking the branches and leaves as best I can and moving the lights around a bit to minimise it. Watering between 1 and 1.5 litres every other day and they are soaking it all up. Increased to 3ml per litre of nutrients too. Humidity has been a lot easier to keep under control this week and hasn鈥檛 risen above 60 all week so I am happy with that. it鈥檚 been a worry for a few weeks. I had a real panic this week when I thought I saw seed sacks forming at the base of each branch. But after hours and hours of reading, I am pretty sure they鈥檙e calyxes. No intentional defoliation this week but I鈥檝e accidentally snapped a couple of fan leaves whilst watering. I really need a bigger tent! Would love opinions on when you all think they might be ready for the chop. Comparing to other diaries I still think I鈥檝e probably got another 6+ weeks but I鈥檓 daring to think about how/where I鈥檓 going to dry them out. I鈥檓 pretty sure purple skunk will be ready first so drying in the tent will be a no go.

Well, boys and girls and those who don't differentiate, it's Weed Doctor Sam here and I'm about to fail gloriously or succeed by the skin of my teeth. This being my first grow -- of any kind, let alone a hydroponic grow involving (potentially) advanced training techniques -- I fully expect things to go wrong. And, well, golly... wouldn't it just be fun to watch? Tune in week to week to see what goes wrong, what goes right, and what goes just luckily enough not to fuck up the whole grow. Update to this week coming at the end of Week 1. Until then, may the rain fall soft on your fields.

Im doing a bit of defoliation, moreover the leaves that covering the buds, i cut some small branches on the bot of the plants, to keep energy for the distal parts of the branches. Every 2 day approximately, to no stress a lot the plants, I pinch the apex of MD1, MD2 and BB1, that my secondary branches go up, until the height of the apex central. Nutriments : 2,0 mL/L of rhizotonic, 2,5 mL/L of cannazym every watering. 2,0 mL/L of terra vega every 2 or 3 watering in case of they need (N) until the final of the strecht (first 2 weeks of bloom). I will put 5L every watering (pots of 18L) and I will analysed the drain of every plants to check pH and the fertilizer amount. Im really proud of theses plants, they are strong, resistant (the trunks are huuuge, moreover the Moby dick from Dinafem) and so healthy !! The MD 3 has reacted really really good with the topping ! Im impressed and quite sure do topping next time ;) I hope they will give me the best of themselves !!!! Lets wait the final of the strecht 馃槈

隆Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 馃挭
