The flowers get bigger and bigger for each day, Overall the ladies look really good, the colors are very nice, they look healthy. Somehow the photos of nr1 got lost, very strange, but great pics of nr2. Also added videos of them both. Here’s a quick look back at our progress: Week 1 (Germination): Using TheCannaKan, the seeds sprouted quickly in a controlled environment. They were then moved to Root Riots with nutrients from Aptus Holland, setting the stage for healthy development. Week 2: The first set of funky leaves began to emerge, showcasing the distinct and peculiar traits that make these mutants so special. Feeding started with Aptus Regulator, Startbooster, CalMag Boost, and All-in-One Liquid—a well-rounded blend to support their growth. Week 3: These funky beauties continued to amaze, displaying different leaf structures and growth patterns. The environment remained stable, and photos with my Nikon and Sony cameras captured their vibrant essence. Week 4: A dip in temperatures brought on slower growth, but the girls adapted well. Organic Aptus All-in-One Pellets were introduced into the soil mix for consistent nutrition, while bottom watering started to combat gnats. Environmental Update: Temperature: The cold has settled in further, with daytime temps at 18°C and nighttime dropping to 14°C. While slower growth is expected in these conditions, the plants are adapting and maintaining their health. Humidity: RH remains stable at 65%, providing just enough moisture to support their development without creating excess stress. Feeding & Watering: The same Aptus Holland nutrient solution is being used this week: Regulator (0.15 ml/L): Strengthens cell walls, helping the plants adapt to colder conditions and maintain their vigor. CalMag Boost (0.25 ml/L): Supplies essential calcium and magnesium for strong, healthy foliage. Startbooster (0.25 ml/L): Encourages root development and early-stage robustness. Cloning or Flipping to 12/12: I’ve been debating whether to: Flip to 12/12 for a week to induce pre-flowering and identify males and females, or Take clones when they’re large enough and flip the clones instead. Each approach has its benefits: Flipping the plants: Speeds up the process of sex identification but temporarily halts vegetative growth. Cloning and flipping the clones: Preserves the original plants in veg while testing the clones for sex. This method is more time-consuming but allows the mother plants to continue growing. I’m leaning toward cloning when the plants reach the right size, as it seems the most practical for maintaining momentum with these unique mutants. Photography Update: This week, I brought out my Nikon and Sony cameras again, using different lenses to capture the intricate details of the plants. I really loved growing this strain. It was easy and stress-free. She seemed to be quite resistant to pests (my tent had a thrip invasion and it didn't seem to affect her too much). I will definitely grow it again in the future. Amazing tropical and fruity fragrances, I don't even know if I will be able to wait until it's cured before I can try it. It grew short and stout, almost buds only. I reckon it could have been a bigger plant if I would have started it under the Mars Hydro instead of on my balcony. Next time I'll do better 🙏 Overall great genetics from RQS, highly recommended! 🙌 **SMOKE REPORT UPDATE after a long and nice cure** The flavour is exactly what you would expect based on the delicious fragrance. Happy uplifting high. It's probably one of my favourite strains and it will most certainly come back in my grow tent.

Some rainy days and some sunny days this week. Warm temperature but not too hot. I started to look at the trichomes and they begin to turn cloudy. Some big leaves start to turn yellow.

Hey, there peeps! Apologies for not updating my diary as I have been quite busy balancing non-plant responsibilities -.-! Anyway, we are now on day 75 since I ordered my equipment and started germinating my seed and day 71 since I placed my seedling in her first Coco pot! She is now a staggering 4 foot 2 - which was overwhelming considering this is my first grow and orginally only cleared out 2/3 of my cuboard but now it uses the whole space but she's coming along so well! I have also added a LED Grow Light Full Spectrum 50W Red COB as I wanted some extra light for the bottom half nuggests. She is very healthy (I assume from the strong healthy roots) and hasnt shown any major defects other then the initial defects i encountered in week 2-3 and slight light burn on the top cola in week 7 which was from the plant growing so quickly and touching the light, but I did then adjust the light within 2-3 hours. What do you guys think and how did she get so tall consdiering she is an auto-flower and the strain is meant to be indica domiant?

Final week and what a frost theres on those buds

19.1.25: I have watered all plants with 300ml of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3, with 1/3 jar of black strap molasses with Ecothrive Biosys-1g. I am looking to increase the sugars for microbial life and plant processes. It'll also add some extra Calcium, Magnesium and trace elements. I also, watered all plants with Bloom nutrients. Using dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 with the following nutrients: (ml/l) ;- ♡ 2ml Cal-Mag ♡ 2ml Ecothrive Flourish ♡ 2ml Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster ♡ 2ml Biobizz Bloom ♡ 2ml Biobizz Top Max ♡ 1g of Ecothrive Biosys I watered around 1-3 litres per plant. Depending on size and requirements. I'm still spilling water containing the nutrient solution. 🙄 I am using this to rub into the leaves. I think a nice foliar massage won't do any harm, make the most of the situation. The plants have become very hungry and thirsty. Increased the water by double. I ran out of my TNC cal-mag. I decided to order the Xpert Nutrients brand, as I like their products. It isn't organic as far as I can tell, but I don't think it matters too much to me, to be honest. I also want to top dress this week, so I bought some Green Leaf PK bud Booster dry amendment from Amazon, too. I'll mix it with canna coco, perlite, worm castings, and Ecothrive Life Cycle. 24.1.25: I went ahead and top dressed all the plants with 4.5 gallons of my supersoil custom mix. This consists of the following substrate and dry amendments: ♡ 60% Canna coco ♡ 20% Worm castings ♡ 15 % Perlite The remaining 5% consists of the following dry amendments;- ♡ 10g Ecothrive Biosys ♡ 1 Tsp RHS Mycorrhizal Fungi granules ♡ 3 Tsp Vitalink Bat guano ♡ 4 Tsp Diatomaceous earth ♡ 8 Tsp Ground Cinnamon ♡ 10g Green Leaf Bud Booster PK booster. ♡ 3 Tsp Ecothrive Life Cycle. •Worm castings for some all round nutrition. •Cinnamon for mildew and bug repellent. •Canna coco base substrate. •Perlite for adding oxygen to the root and soil system. •Green Leaf Bud Booster PK Booster for blooming. Beginning of week.. As I watered this morning (no nutes at 111 PPM), the runoff came out at 830 PPM.. so the plant may not be taking up as much nutes? Idk.. possibly.. but since I'm so close, I've decided to just cut the nutes in half while completely removing CalMag and Hydroguard.. they shouldn't be doing much at this point anyway.. temps were a little cooler the last couple weeks (not so much this week) so it's helping purples come out! Wish I could get it even cooler.. but the flush should help her reveal beauty!.. she's already so gorgeous, to me 😍 Mid week.. She is absolutely stunning! So the last time I fed, the runoff TDS was coming out less than it was going in.. 700 PPM, good deal.. but when I watered the next time, the runoff TDS came out 200 PPm more.. like 900 PPM.. so I watered the next day and it came out 800 PPM.. so today I watered with FloraKleen and it came ou 700 PPM.. the days I watered was only 80 - 100 PPM going in.. no reason for the runoff to have jumped up like that out of nowhere.. I haven't been rinsing off the saucer as I should have been (daily).. just pulling the runoff out as soon as I can.. maybe it is just built up on the saucer?? Idk.. I guess I should attempt to pull it out and rinse it at least once or twice a week.. other than that, she is still turning purple ALL OVER more and more each day! Beautiful smell.. sweet, citrus, slightly skunky.. not overwhelmingly skunky.. but she isn't too far off.. so, I was thinking I will just keep watering till harvest.. not flushing the medium in one watering.. just normal amount of watering with a normal amount of runoff and she can use up what's left in the medium for this week, then the 2 week flush (still just watering normal amounts daily) will begin.. not this week even tho I'm not giving any nutes, due to a salt build-up going on somewhere in the rootzone.. but we shall see! End of week.. Wow she is getting close! So dank! So fruity! Definitely got the skunky phenotype but not lacking on the berries, whatsoever. Seeing many cloudy trichomes.. still a few clear but the way she is maturing, I believe she will be ready in just another 1 week, 2 if I'm feeling patient (probably not). This week was literally nothing but water. Wait, I did do one dose of FloaKleen due to the salt build-up about mid week.. never used anything else this entire week.. so this week was just a slow flush.. will have an update on the runoff tomo (beginning of next week) with more pics! On to the next...

The OG Kush has wrapped up week 4 of flower. She got a healthy defoliation to expose bud sites, and is now on track to bulk up. She's been moved to the center of the tent for the rest of the grow. She's recharged and on cruise control from here on out...only removing dead leaves. Starting to smell like a funky citrus fruit. Still pretty light on the nose and trichome production has been minimal.
