2nd week into flowering stretching ahould be slowing down. Made some tea for the girls and they all went crazy. They are developing a stronger smell cant tell what it is yet. Everything looks great!!!

Since sprouting above ground I've been top watering RO water until the roots hit the water. I also covered the net pots with reflective film to avoid any light leaking into the rdwc system to avoid any issues later on in the grow. Day 5 - Roots are starting to touch the water so I'm expecting the growth rate to pick up soon 😏 Trol master unit is set up and connected to my light at 40% and on a 18/6 lighting schedule. Very handy unit if I must say. Until the next update

week 5 when the thrips first showed themselves. I noticed them cuz some silver stains started appearing on some leaves. you can see them better under LED light. So, I sprayed Neem Oil all over the plant. I could notice that if you don't do it well, spraying and rubbing the leaves with a piece of cloth, the oil will also create some stains. 2nd topping. killed some thrips this week, they're cute and didn't seem to harm the plant seriously. Neem oil worked fine to control them. No other pests that I could notice + Defoliation + LST Flowermind (4ml + 0.5g)

Um suprise how fat does this buds getting. Some of the buds are start getting some frost. Will be done great CBD/THC oil.

Solid week, she's growing well if I look at a week ago but I'm too impatient 😆. A look back at the week that was. After a trip to my local hydroponic shop I picked up grow bags, SCROG net, Growrite AandB formulation (Dutch apparently although wasn't on the drop down list here?), CalMax and LST tie. Day 19 I did her 3rd and final transplant to 20L grow bag. She didn't seem to suffer from it but will definitely plant into final bag from the get go next grow. It's too stressful on me LOL. Moved my grow tent out of garage and onto patio area as we've had a spell of hot days >35degC and the shed roasts. Wife isn't happy bout it but my girl appreciates it. Introduced CalMax and Growrite into her fertilising schedule. Trying very hard to stick to a watering/fertiliser schedule giving her nothing every 2nd day as suggested in comments (thank you!). Also started LST and at day 21 it's looking like some medieval torture scene! Would like to know people's thoughts on the LST, have I gone overboard? While I'm asking what is the latest consensus on topping Autos? Most people here seem to go for it but a number of vids on YouTube say otherwise? Also I was watching a video that suggested a great way to promote root growth is to starve her of water I.e. let her go dry for prolonged period (>4 days?). What are people's thoughts on this? Anyone tried? I am hoping for big growth in week 4!

The others are looking OK. I may have seen first pistils... The heights are : afghani #1 - 22.0 cm (+3.0) sensi skunk - 18.5 cm (+1.0) hindu kush - 18.5 cm (+2.0) shiva skunk - 11.0 cm (-0.5) 2024/01/24 : spayed with Foliar Spray from B.A.C. last night, don't know if it was OK for shiva skunk, we'll see. 3 others are preflowering without a doubt now. afghani #1 - 24.0 cm (+2.0) sensi skunk - 20.0 cm (+1.5) hindu kush - 21.0 cm (+2.5) shiva skunk - 11.5 cm (+0.5) 2024/01/25 : shiva skunk is struggling but it's not done yet. Day 44- I need to back off on the water nutes, I am forgetting the soil is strong enough. I will flush with plain water next time. Maybe I should do a plain water foliar feed? I’m still learning. But I think those B vitamins are keeping their metabolism high! Then I feel the need to spoon feed. After giving them much needed calcium, I start adding other things. Those Epsom Salts plus the amino acids on a plant with high metabolism receiving more B1, all while having lots of amended neem cake in the media, is going to be processing a sh*t load of nitrogen! Back to plain water. Another idea, maybe I will flush a little bit, and feed just CalMag. Day 48 I realized I haven’t gotten any pictures in for this week! Not that big of a mistake compared to the one I just corrected! The video is taken when they are back inside for the night as it a cold windy night, and they could use more light. I am not talking because I am sick and can’t talk to well. But it’s just quickly showing how they look after the whole ordeal I am about to mention. So I woke up this morning, and noticed all of the plants were showing subtle signs of a deficiency. Different deficiencies too! Some are going on the calcium deficiency, others potassium, some manganese even maybe a few others to be honest. Sometimes I could only see signs in the old leaves, and other times I would see signs in new leaves. Either way “most” of them were looking pretty good. But something about all this variability with different plants was oddly unsettling to me. I figured I had better stick the soil pH meter in there and make sure it’s not a pH issue. And to my horror, pH of barely 4.5!! More like 4.20! But honestly it was that low!!!! A miracle these plants haven’t locked out yet! But how did this happen? Yes it is all coming together for me. Every water I have been giving feed-water. I have been watering with a little runoff, but not enough runoff to manage what I was putting in! I’ve been “feed-watering” a lot more than usual because the pots are tiny and it’s super hot and mega dry during the days. Like 75-80 degrees (F) and 10-25% relative humidity lately. So no wonder they are drying out fast. All those salts left behind from last feed. So they built up, apparently pretty high. I didn’t think I was feeding too much, especially because I would get a descent amount to drain out the bottoms every time. Either way, I fed too heavy and flushed too little! So I brought out the foxfarm SLEDGEHAMMER!!!!! Did a quick flush, flushed with plain water to get the sledgehammer out, then a recheck on the soil pH meter. Comes out 6.8! So I gave feed-water at ph of 7 afterwords. They were dry enough before all of this, I conveniently avoided damping issues. Now they will dry out and receive plain pH 7 RO water on next watering. I still have lots of doubt as if I have any clue what I am doing! But so far so good. I try to support the microbes as much as possible, i definitely could use their support. And it might be because of the microbes, CalMag and fulvic acid, that has prevented lockout. But yeah the fact the pH in the soil was corrected with a flush, gives me a peace of mind. The other three from “The Hondo Titan” diary had high levels of sulfur to lime, the flush did not fix, so I repotted them in new soil with pH 7. Also those hydroton expanded clay pebbles become rich with acidic salts, because the water leaves and all the nutes and minerals are captured and stored with the pebbles. Good in small levels. But if the pot dries out every day, those pebbles will eventually make the pH meter smack the end suggesting less than pH of 3.5!!!!!!!! But no pebbles were used on these girls thankfully!!

painted the senecas for sure, culled the male. both turkish are pretty well seeded out, i’m thinking maybe 20-30 seeds each, 15 fully formed and good. the senecas look lightly pollinated, maybe 15-20, 10 fully formed and good. still will be usable beans. next run after this will be good, hopefully stable genetics. gonna try for a turkish male and focus on the turkish x afghan cross, while saving the seneca x turkish for later.

Great week

Well this lady is finally finishing off her life cycle. At this points shes just ripening & I'm thinking about chopping her within a few days maybe even later today. Her colas are huge. I hardly used any nutrients on this run but I'm super happy with the results. I hope you check back next week to see just how fast she dries and cures & follow along for a flavor test. Her aroma is amazing a mix of bananas & a bowl of fruit punch. Always remember its 4:20 somewhere!

The fade-out is clearly visible, trichomes are mostly milky with the first hints of amber. pH remains steady at 6.2–6.3, and drain EC is slowly dropping as the plants break down their internal reserves. 🔴 Seriotica: Flush is going very smoothly – drain EC has dropped from 2.2 to 1.8. She’s responding evenly to the Flawless Finish flush (EC ~0.5). Buds are compact, heavily frosted, and trichomes are hitting the perfect milky stage – optimal harvest window is just around the corner ❄️🌕 Everything is on track – harvest coming soon!

Week 8: Steady Bloom & Vacation Prep Update: 10.07.2025 | Day 58 Weather stabilized around 25°C with occasional rain - ideal conditions. Gave another mild dose of dissolved Biotabs + Bokashi juice (1:100). Rain refilled water tanks just in time: Vacation coming up! Midweek my grow buddy takes over (fingers crossed). Here are the main characters: Forbidden Runtz Pure bloom focus now - minimal height gain. Sugar leaves turning frosty daily. Aroma intensifies: Sweet candy meets earthy skunkiness (yes, we're making that a word!). Buds point skyward, thickening noticeably. Pistils showing beautiful color variations - not just white anymore. Green Crack Surprise performer! Bud structure defied expectations: Fewer sites but chunky indica-style nugs instead of wispy sativa candles. Already sticky to the touch with impressive frosting. That glorious mango scent is creeping in - imagine it at peak swell! Easily 3+ weeks left. Bruce Banner She's still stretching like your yoga teacher! Not full bloom yet – new shoots exploding everywhere. Bud sites multiplying like rabbits. Light frost/mild smell now… but genetics don’t lie. FastBuds Tangie flashbacks intensify. This will be explosive soon. Wrap-up: This grow's the anti-stress champ compared to last year's coco/nutrient math marathon. Just observing, responding, and trusting the plants. Day 58 - Into week 9 now and she’s really budding up nicely but something is definitely a bit off with her. Most leaves on the top are starting to yellow quite a bit and I’m thinking she might be getting a bit of light burn because I had moved the lights pretty close. Was trying something new with this one and don’t think it’s working so backed the lights up to the normal height and hopefully she’ll be ok. Other than that, looking good and should be ready for more water in a couple days. Day 59 - Buds are starting to swell a bit in certain areas and getting nice and frosty. Her smell is starting to get a bit stronger too. Still have quite a bit of time left with her and she’ll be ready for water tomorrow then the watering after that, she’ll get a dose of nutes. Day 61 - Still going good and fattening up nicely. The soil was pretty dry so gave her about a gallon and a half of plain pH’d water today, next watering will be with nutes. So far it doesn’t look like any of the yellowing is getting any worse so I’m thinking it was light burn. Day 63 - Ending week 9 and nothing major going on right now. Flowers are looking great and seems the bit of yellowing has slowed down or stopped but did remove a couple lower yellow and dead ones today. She’s already ready for water so tomorrow she’ll get a feeding of nutes.
