Late update, ran into some issues with the roots but the end product is still decent. Will make some tweaks next time, the problem was my transplant. I didn’t put the plants down deep enough and the soil was compacted to add. Plants start tipping over and nearly derooted when buds got heavier. Also was using too much nutes, will be switching to coco. Don’t think I used too much, soil just retained a lot of the nutes and water. Hoping coco will solve that issue for me.

Week 11 has been exactly the same as week 10. There has been some light yellowing one Girl #1 and some of the hairs are starting to turn orange. The colas aren’t very dense. Girl#1 has been doing some weird fox tailing on all the colas.My temperatures haven’t been over 77 and my humidity hasn’t been over 55. I have seen this before in other diaries with other stains. Guess that’s just comes with the territory of ruderalis crossed strains. Can’t really complain cause this is my first rodeo with Autos so I’m just happy to have this experience. I officially think the delayed Pineapple Express auto might not even have the autoflower trait. It’s been 11 weeks and she hasn’t showed the slightest chance of ever flowering. This is really frustrating and deflating. I’m gonna definitely have to put this girl into 12-12. That will have to be after girl #1 is finished. I’m very appreciative of all who show your continued support and give insightful infomation. Can’t wait to see what this harvest will be. This is my first official auto grow. Alcapulco Gold plants (3) are between 12”-14” and still receiving only pH balanced H2O. The other 2 strains are receiving nutrients listed above.

Waiting game begins. Posted a video as well so you can see a bit more of the plant. Patience is the game we are playing now. Hopefully they can finish soon. Although the trics are 50-50 milky and clear.

This plant was really great. Beautiful structure, purple stems, dense sticky and stinky nugs. Super frosty and really did great overall. Super excited for the quality smoke. I left the two side branches on to allow the seeds to finish developing. Nice sativa side cross with Durban Poison and a nice Indica side cross with Big Bud 😎💪

3/28/23 After drying the last two they’ve been trimmed and into jars Barnyard looks like it’s ready to cut the trichs are visibly amber. But I’m just not ready I want to run this long so I’m gonna leave it for another week at least and let the buds swell as much as possible. No rush on it!

8/31 I harvested Auto Opium today. This is 7-10 days early. I intended to grow her inside the tent, but when she stretched quickly i had to take her outside. This did not give her time to harden off before going fully into flower. Then my area went into extreme heat over 110 for extended weeks. High heat and humidity. She couldn't handle this. Then Hurricane Debby whipped her back and bent her main stem in several places. Repaired with chopsticks and electrical tape. Her limbs were thin and spindly, I tried to support with garden hoops but many stems just bent regardless. One bent and cut off its water & nutrients and died. All in all Auto Opium did not transition well from tent to outside. If I had understood her structure before her grow was underway, I would have done some topping or mainlining. I'm watching several growers demonstrate training techniques that I will try. You know you you are. Many thanks to you. We had some cooler nights in the last week or so which allowed leaf color changes from lime green💚 to purples💜 and some reds. I see some lavender in her buds. Trichomes are mostly milky white, so a bit early. Harvest shows, many long, hollow stems which couldn't support her own weight. To be eco-friendly, you could use these for beverage straws 😅. One week more. The two ladies have developed quite well in the last week and I have now defoliated them again. I think the yellow leaf tips are due to low humidity. The morello cherries auto in the soil also had a bit of bad news for me. There was a small bag of bananas, which I have removed for now and will continue to observe whether new ones appear. With a new cultivar, I can well imagine that it will be even more stable. Otherwise, the morello Cherrie flowers very fast and l'm a little surprised at the low stretch.

A straight forward week as the autopots are doing the watering and the plants are growing fast and strong. I have given them a KNF foliar feed today , see video for content. Two of the Radio Z ate looking quite similar. Radio z 2 is a beats real thick stems. Looks male . @lumatekeu attis 300w is set at 80% , have added a Inkbird hygrometer. Which I love .

Well, Well, it has been a fun and informative run with these ladies. The smell is an extremely pungent fruity rotten pineapple.... it is amazing. Plant 1 and Plant 2 couldn't have been more different, but the smell is the same on them. I am really looking forward to a slow dry and slow cure on these. I am going to let them run out a few more days and see if there is any more fattening and monitor the trichomes. Thanks all! The plants officially entered the explosive period of the growth. They're absolutely loving life, and despite the overexposed colour in the photos their green is absolutely healthy. They are growing low and bushy, which is perfect because I want to mainline all of them At the end of week 3 the plants are almost ready for the first topping, as you can see they doubled in size in just 3 days.

Sep 28: still going into a new week. She is definitely bulking up but the season is almost done. I’ll take what I can get for hash, and the very top buds will likely be okay for flower. Sep 29: looks noticeably larger overnight which is great to see. Might still work as our weather forecast has been upgraded to extend the season a bit further. Sep 30: light rain and overcast all day. Hit 0 C last night and daytime high was only 9 C so season is mostly done. Maybe two weeks more can get squeezed in but that will likely be it.
