2/1/2024- Pre-Germination Activities Day 1 I have 21 weeks until final photo is do.. I took 3 seeds out of cold storage and will let them get to room temp for the next 48 hours before I go with Glass of water for germination. I have 3 beans because I will start from the very beginning helping ensure I present the best Pheno. This is going to be a fun one.. I am a few days away from being able to clear my tent out for this run.. I have a breeding run in right now and the Seeds are a few days away from being mature enough for me to take down the girls. Once I get them down I will need to get my tent cleaned up and turned over right away. This is going to be close, I will have to time them to the water and into the tray at the right time.. because I will need to get lighting on them right away.. I have my 2X2 and my light ready incase I need to hold them in the cloning machine if the others are not done in the next few days.. Glad I have options that can stretch me out for a week or 2 to give me a little more time. 2/2/2024- Pre-Germination Activities Day 2 I checked on my breeding run to see how close the seeds are and if the tent is ready for me to clear and clean but alas I am still going to need a few days. I setup the emergency 2X2 and that should give me 2-3 weeks. The plan is to still wait one more day to allow the beans to warm up to room temp and then drop them in Water sometime tomorrow. Form my Emergency 2X2 I have the following: 4" inline fan and carbon filter Fan VS-2000 light 2/3/2024- Germination Activities Day 0 - Dropped the Beans in.. Today is 0 day.. Go.. Go .. Go.. 2/4/2024- Germination Activities Day 0-1 - Checked in on them this morning and no tap roots yet.. covered them back up and back in to the closet they went. I setup the Root Riots and the Seed tray for them. I Ensured my water that I was soaking the root riots in was PHed to 5.8 and I used RO water. Afternoon Update: Checked on my Breeders and they are done. I started to harvest them, I took down the one I had reversed with STS and I took down the Black African Magic- All but one bud, I wanted to get some pics of that one today. I was only able to get 2lbs into the Cannatrol because I had to be very careful to keep the bud from the plant that was treated with the STS separated from the other seeded bud that was pollenated from the plant I reversed. Cannatrol could have held an additional 2oz of wet but not today. Ideally I need 1 more Cannatrol so I can take an entire Tent, but will figure that out. I put an additional 1.5lbs into the freezer to wait it's turn into the Cannatrol, I would have left it on the plant and taken it in 4 days when the dry cycle gets done but wasn't sure how much 2.2 lbs was equivalent to chopped and wet trimmed. 2/5/2024- Germination Activities Day 0-2 - Checked in on them this morning and 2 of them have very small tap roots out.. one still doesn't going to give them some more time. I will check in on them this evening and see if they are more open if so I will transfer the ones that are ready to their medium and seed tray. 2/6/2024- Planting Day TRUE Germination Day 0- Checked in on them this morning and all 3 of them have tap roots out. I broke the bottom of the tap root for #1 which was the biggest.. pretty sad.. I hope she survives.. I tried to be careful it just snapped off when I was trying to get it in the root riot right. Other than that all three are now in their in-between home in the 2X2 while if finish clearing and cleaning out their forever homes. 2/7/2024- Germination Day 1- Checked in on them and no surprise no sprouts yet. Sprayed the dome to moist it and light spray to the tops of the Root Riots. 2/8/2024- Germination Day 2- #3 is popped and it looks like #2 will be popped by this evening.. I got my second Cannatrol today so now I can take down the rest of the tent and get it into the dry/cure. 2/9/2024- Germination Day 3- #2 is popped as well.. so I have #2 and #3 up and still waiting to see on #1 but that might be a loss since I accidently broke off some of the Tap root when transplanting. 2/10/2024- Germination Day 4- #1 has Popped... We have ignition on all 3.. YAY!! I finished clean up and install of RDWC system, this time was unique the back left buckets 3 inch pipe wasn't seated correctly so I had to clean up about 12 gallons of water all of the floor. I also had two leaks coming from one of the Waterfall return junctions, this is why I do a full pressure test before I put anything in. I will continue to monitor it through tomorrow to ensure that I am good to go and then I will finish setting up the baskets and prepping the water to be ready for the ladies planting day!!! 2/11/2024- Germination Day 5- #1 Of course is going to be my trouble plant.. No matter what If she lives through planting in the system and making it, I think I might not cull her at all regardless, she has been such a problem, makes me wonder if she will be super worth it towards the end.. We will see as we go through this grow, but #1 has a piece of the shell on the leaves, Other than that I set up a new thing I have been doing since last grow converting my Baskets into Sure plants so I can see exactly where the water is when I plant them and ensure I have the water up high enough that they are able to access it and grow but not too high were they are drowning. 2/12/2024- Germination Day 6- Everything seems to be going good.. will just keep them moist and let the roots grow for a few more days before I transplant to forever home. 2/13/2024 - Germination Day 7- Just keeping them Moist. 2/14/2024 - Germination Day 8 - Planting day.. they are now in the system.. :-)I had to fill the water to the bottom of the basket where I could see water on the bottom rocks and just coming up where I had created my whole/ sure plant. 2/15/2024 - Germination Day 9- Top fed just a little to keep them moist and encourage root growth towards the water. I ensured the PH is right at 5.98-6.02 range. 2/16/2024 - Germination Day 10- Top fed just a little to keep them moist and encourage root growth towards the water.

Checked the fast bud Cherry Cola and gorilla cookies in paper towel and it had a nice tap root so it went in to the the Ocean from Fox farm with the center using a starter seed CoCo mix. So now we have two seed planted with tap roots in soil with clear solo cup over the top with some spritzes of water in the cup to keep the humidity up over the seed until they pop through the soil.

Videos were taken on day 37 of flower. The mac x peanut butter breath plants are looking great ones in the back left and ones in the back middle towards the right side. They have more orange pistils at this point than all the other plants and are packing on the frost. I gave all the plants just plain water with herculean harvest, enzymes and humic acids last feed and flushed it a little but and it seemed to respond well. The rocstar breaths are frosty too and smell gassy. Also, I just checked some of my DMs on here and theres alot that I've never responded to, I dont check them unless it's from a business. I put in a few diaries a while ago if anyone has any questions for me to ask them in the comment section or a journal that way people with the same or similar questions can see it and I dont have to answer the same thing 8 times. As most seam to have a very tight growth pattern I honestly think they're going to be monsterous tower's in the coming weeks. with that in mind I gave everyone a good leg shave to increase those chances. Also The Frist trellis is up ! after talking with Katsu about how much he thinks this particular strain may stretch.. i've decided to hang 2 lines of support across these girls. this first being right as we move into FLOWER ! teh second line will go up one the stretch stops..(week3-4 maybe we will see) With that being said, after a slight flush @6.6ph Water, & 24 Hours of darkness happening as I type this entry.. They will receive their first Flower Feeding in the Morning! & the next entry will be our first week of flower ! It is always a blast working from a pack of Reg Seed, let alone an Exciting project like these Katsu beans ! and as we move into flower next week I've taken cuts that I'm hopeful will ensure I have the BEST of the Best Flowers from this run to keep for another run at least.. and maybe even outdoor 2021. 6th week of veg. Is finally in the books and all systems are go for the flower show. As they’re revegged clones, their branching structure is just ridiculous. Sucker branches everywhere pulling nutrient flow away from the winners. Right before we flipped and as per videos - we gutted every single plant and crushed it down to no more than about 7 tops max per plant. The whole goal is only to flower select, top shelf bud with every opportunity (and space) to grow to its fullest potential. So far, Druid nutrients has fit the bill for every one of em and they’re all extremely happy on this system👍. We also couldn’t resist and snipped another run of clones off each one but the Skywalker. Not sure if the boogie nights or blueberrys will make it but u never really know do you🤷. That said, the diy aerocloner has been a beast for us and minus an aphid issue last round - she puts out a 100% success rate😉. We’ll use the best of these as complimentary to reg. Run of some spicy bitch we’ve got coming up. Even if the pollen chuck is a failure - we won’t be losing any of the elite white widow or blueberry genetics🤞🤞🤞🤞. This week has been horrible and I've been combatting the heat as we have had a heat wave so been some serious high temps 30-31 but I've swapped out my hps for a new led light hopefully this will help also I did a flush day 77 ready for week 3 Happy Growing!👊👍

Yayyy first harvest ever. So happy to finally be at this point in the grow 🌅 (Was the obvious faster one of the two and felt like to time to cut her. I don't know if. Messed up flushing, she didn't fade as much but also had minor Cal mag Def at end of flower. Did manage to flush before harvest but maybe not enough water to wash out. REALLY happy with the result, my first harvest down the hatch : )

I wasn't here this week then it's a friend who watered plant. I didn t think about temperature so i turn off heating so temperature was low.

Day 22 and there have been significant changes in the size of the fan leaves. The stems are looking much fatter and more sturdy as well. Cheech has her 5 nodes, perfect and ready for topping. I am going to put off topping her though until Venezia is ready and that should be in the coming couple of days. Other than that, changed water and adjusted the lights about 3cm higher to keep them at 60cm from the plant. Again I left the Milwaukee PH controller to run for about an hour to get the PH down to 6.0 Day 25 and ladies have been topped at node 4, keeping node 3 and cleaning node 1 & 2. Light LST on Cheech’s axillary buds which are already well developed Day 27 - following up with gentle LST twice daily, tightening up the formation of the mainline. I’ve noticed what seems to be a bit of stress on the leaves of Cheech (see photos) which is affecting both plants under the same light. So I’ve moved the light up a few centimetres and rechecked and adjusted the PH which was at around 6.4.

04/06/25: There’s not much to report today, which is exactly what I want to see at this stage. All five plants have recovered well from the transplant and topping, and they’re starting to look happy again. Leaves are upright, color is rich, and the overall posture of the plants suggests they’re back in growth mode. They’re beginning to bush out as expected, and I can tell the root systems are continuing to expand into the 1-gallon AirPots. Structurally, all five plants are still showing very similar growth patterns. The internode spacing and leaf size are fairly consistent across the board, and none of the plants are falling behind or surging too far ahead. That uniformity is great for managing the canopy later and suggests solid genetic stability across the seeds. If all goes to plan, I’ll top each of the four current branches in the next 4 to 5 days. That will give me a solid base for structure going into the final stages of veg. I expect that the final transplant into the 6.9-gallon AutoPot XL system will happen in about a week and a half to two weeks, depending on how quickly they root out the current pots. Ideally, I’ll be able to determine sex before that final transplant. That would let me cull any males and avoid wasting time and space in the larger pots. I’ll return with another update after the next topping session or if anything of note comes up before then.

Key Observations: • Color: The seedlings are a healthy green, with some displaying slight variances in shade—typical of unique genetics like Mentha de Croco. • Structure: Leaves are developing steadily, with short internodes (the space between sets of leaves) that hint at nice, compact growth patterns as they continue. • Energy: Each plant seems to be finding its rhythm, which is a beautiful thing to watch! Some are taking their time, while others are diving right into rapid growth. Nutrients & Supplements 💧 For this first week, I’m keeping it light on nutrients, letting the seedlings draw what they need from the Root Riots and the remaining seed stores. However, I’ve continued using Aptus Holland’s Regulator and Startbooster, both at 1ml/L, to support foundational growth. Why These Nutrients? • Aptus Regulator: Adds silicon to fortify cell walls, giving the seedlings extra strength to handle environmental changes. Fast to flower some decently large nugs! This girl is the only one that survived my "initial torture test" for my sf4000(dimmed to 75% (333watts) in quarter of my 3x3 tent)! She was very resistant to "too much light intensity" as a seedling, and didn't mutate! Once the light was at an ideal height, she started vegging very strong, but 1 week of important time had been lost. She started to flower, and stacked up a bunch of dense buds very nicely! I'm very excited to be growing this strain again next run!-with more training.

Last week transplanted the plants to their final containers. Approx 12L and 17L fabric pots. Did my best to transplant without disturbing the roots, by first placing the small container in the new container to make an hole in the dirt. And then cutting apart the small container instead of pulling out the plant. Then just fitting the root-ball into the already made hole. Root development looked pretty good when I did the transplant. Transplanted into a rather well-fertilized soil. Don't plan on fertilizing these plants during the whole grow unless I otherwise see a reason to. Also started LST last week, bending the plants somewhat extreme, but they're taking it just fine. Water here is rather alkaline, so I'm starting to control the PH of the water now. There's a clear skunk smell that started last week as well, but only when the tent has been opened. Still, it doesn't take much time to notice if you stick your head in the tent. And this is already starting in Week 2 of veg! So the charcoal filter is set up. Pretty happy with the development so far, although I've still been seeing some thrips. If they're not completely gone by next week, might end up mixing some of the spinosad into the water so the plants absorb it. Day 16 - Cut off one of the lower fan leaves on both plants. It was blocking the other nodes from receiving much light. I am already able to start noticing mandarin/tangerine undertones in the smell when I've handled the plants.

8/3 Went over to treat the 10th planet that needed water with plant doctor around 10:30. I was in the garden at 6 but didn't have much time. That plant seems to be curled up or "droopy". It DID need water. I defoliated a few sep leaves off it but I didn't see any today. I guess I don't ever really see the leaves "up" or praying like I do with the rest of tge plants. It's starting to flower like the rest though. Today is the day everything is supposed to get its second or third plant doctor dose but I decided to wait until they need the water. I don't think 24hrs will mean much. I've been staying on top of defoliation but I'm seeing some pillar damage. I'd like to spray bt but what my buddy said about spraying with septoria is still in my head. Maybe I can use citric acid. That way it won't "wash away" spores it will just eat them. At least I think. And I hope lol. Birds get most of the pillars but I hand pick some too. I need to pick up nutes. Wondering if I should just get grow big again. I don't use much but plants are switching to flower and leaves are fading. I have big bloom and kool bloom bit neither have nitrogen. I still need some sort of nitrogen. Especially since that could be a deficiency. Not sure if it's the transition or a condition with the sep. I see some interior small leaves bleeding out and some dying. I'm wondering if what I thought was earwig damage years prior was really a combo of sep and they just ate the evidence. I'm super grateful though. I've got some resilient girls and they're doing well. The special kush in flower is gorgeous as well. Looks like I'll have an early plant. Short flowering time on this strain. Smells pungent. 8/4 Treated everything in the garden with plant doctor except the 10th planet I got yesterday. I need to take a closer look at that plant. It rarely looks "happy" like my others. I'll check it again later. 3tsp per gallon and 1gal a plant. The 10s got a half gallon. This seems to be working great. I have some defoliation to do on the tenth planet I was talking about earlier. Everything is in some form of flower. The flowers on that early special kush are getting bigger. I'll update this later. UPDATE: WENT BACK OVER AT NOON TO TAKE A LOOK AT THAT OTHER 10TH PLANET TO SEE IF IT PICKED UP AT ALL. IT DID. IM GLAD I CAME OVER TO CHECK THOUGH. MAKES ME FEEL BETTER. THE OTHER 10TH PLANET LOOKS HORRIBLE O. FILM FROM ONE ANGLE LOL BUT ITS REALLY A GREAT LOOKING PLANT AND IM USUALLY FILMING AT LIKE 6AM. JIST WANTED TO STICK UP FORCMY GIRL AND HER BAD HAIR DAY. ITS BEEN HIT AND A FEW OF HER LEAVES ARE TACOED. SHE GOT HER FIRST "PREVENTATIVE" DOSE OF PLANT DOCTOR WHICH WAS HALF A TSP/GALLON. IT REALLY SEEMS TO BE DOING SUBSTANTIALLY BETTER. EVERYTHING IS. IM HAVING TO LOOK HARDER AND AM HAVING TROUBLE FINDING LEAVES EFFECTED BY SEPTORIA. KNOCK ON WOOD. IM EXCITED. THIS IS GOING BETTER THAN I THOUGHT. IM STILL GOING TO BE MONITERING LIKE I USUALLY DO. 8/5 Watered the 10th planet I dodnt get yesterday. Looked and didn't see any sep leaves. Phone was dead so I vouldnt do a video. Went back over at like 130pm and did a quick video and checked out the girls. Everything is looking good and transitioning well. I WANT to use a diy Dr. Zymes with citric acid as I've noticed a few pillars. Only reason I've hesitated is because my buddy said not to spray it. But if what I spray it with "eats" it I would think it's ok. But what do I know. Birds get a great deal of them. I watch them on the camera sit on the cage and wait for one to stick it's head up before snatching it up. Still need to get either more grow big or a bloom product with nitrogen. I was able to defoliate that other 10th planet of anything suspect. It's hard work but it's worth it in the end. 8/6 It's like 81 at 4pm. I didn't have time to video this morning but i went back over. WATERED EVERYTHING THIS BUT THE 50 AND THE 10TH PLANET I GOT YESTERDAY. Temps are supposed to pick up soon and it will be in the 90's again. We've had like NO rain. I searched for leaves that had signs of sep to defoliate. I may find one or two but for the most part things are doing great. Overall I'm happy.
