I put the plants into an NFT system couple weeks ago. I could have waited a bit longer for the plants to develop a stronger root system before placing the rockwool cubes into NFT but I was being impatient because of the slow start and wanted to get the plants under proper light. Now two weeks later they are growing well with good root development. I switched the lights to flowering cycle about a week ago so they should start stretching soon. No preflowers yet.

Week 10: This will be the final update before Harvest: I will update post harvest after the dry and weigh. Day 64-66: Hmm these 4AM are a strange bunch lol. I seemed to have been wrong about 4AM#3 getting better in last week's update, after reviewing the pictures. After realizing this I decided to continue feeding the plants till the end albeit only Calmg and Boost(micro). I decided to give 4AM#3 a 125% dose of Calmg on Day 66. I was worried about root rot because even though she was a bigger plant she drank noticeably less water than the rest. I actually forgot to mention I have had a few fungus gnats during the grow starting at around day 35. I always let the plants completely dry out even until some leaves were really drooping from thirst, so I though I had them under control. I never noticed more than 1 or 2 at a time, which is also why I thought I had it out of control. Maybe they have something to do with 4AM#3's state, but I doubt it. Anyway, 4AM#1 and #2 are doing well. #1 has fully ripened with almost 95% cloudy trichomes, and some amber. #2 on the other hand could still use 7-10 days extra, but regretfully I cannot harvest then... #3 is at about the same stage as #2. Day 67-70: Sadly I noticed too late, but that extra strong dose of Calmg seemed to confirm my suspisions... 4AM#3 had a heavy calmg deficiency... It really is noticeably improving this time! Leaves are regaining some slight saturation! And she drank her water very quickly this time! So bummed about having to harvest this weekend... Day 73... Oh well next time I will be able to harvest more freely and at different times for each plant if needed. She still has a good bit of cloudy trichomes on her calyxes though, around 40-60%, and very very few ambers, but her sugar leaves are already full of them. As for 4AM#1, looking great! gona be the smallest buds but definately the most dank! 4#2's massive buds are still having trouble staying upright, but looking forward to those for sure! RED ALERT: Shiiiit... So as I was watering 4AM#3 on day 69, I noticed, what I'm pretty sure is, BUD ROT! Damn, I'll have a picture as part of this update. I had very bad experience with bud rot last fall(planted my autos too late in the summer, lost over half my plants and had to harvest early), but that was with 10C temps and 80%+ RH. I have FOUR fucking fans in this damn tent, and it's always over 20C! But I'll be honest, I knew if it was going to happen, it would be THAT part of the plant positioned closest to that oscillating fan I have on the peace of wood... The bud closest to it(in the corner) is in it's blind spot, doesn't get direct breeze on it. And that's the bud, and the ONLY bud that seems to have been affected. Strangely though, this bud rot feels different to the touch than the one I had last summer. Very dry, and like I said, very isolated to that ONE little part. I cut it out and have the rest of the bud drying as a tester in my room. And my entire room STINKS. I seemed to have been wrong about that last week also; The 4AM smells so much stronger than the White Cracks. See you after the Harvest!! ;) It's been awesome and a fun learning experience!

And im in first flowering Week since last sunday, so far i really can't complain. Everything looks healthy and fine. Plant 3 is still kinda weaker/slower and Plant 4 seems to want to do some sativa things and grows up like hell but oh well, at least Plant 1 and 2 just grow as they should. This week i made the Bio Tabs compost tea for the first time and the plants seem to love it. Each one received 500ml if it. Can't wait to see the results at the end of the run. Again thanks to Bio Tabs for sending it out so i can test it. Humidity was pretty high because of constant rain this week, but it seems like i have made it through it, now just to make sure to finish this run before the summer heat will come. I removed a few leaves here and there because they were stacking or blocking light, i will defoliate in 1-2 weeks for real. Sadly Plant 4 needed an even higher stool then last weeks, so it's on the same height as the others. It was getting not enough light this deep down. That is also because why the scrog net does look like it does right now. I try to make it more "appealing" tonight, but i don't want to break anything and it works like it should right now, so yeah it looks stupid but it's alright. Today (01.11.2022) they 'opened their eyes' (shell cracked). Babies spended one day in a glass of water with peroxide to moist them, then - peat pallet from RQS (sorry, FB, but they're great). Now waiting for sprouts to show up from the pallets hole. UPD: TWO DAYS LATER THEY WERE BORN (03.11.2022) UPD: 05.11.2022 MY TWO FAST BUDS TWEENS MOVED TO FIRM TEXTILE POTS. Coco coir was buffered with BioBizz CalMag and RQS Mycorrhiza was added. And a small amount of RQS Bat guano (only few grams were left from my previous grow) Idk why hp of the substrate is above 6.5. Mb some of the soil I bought was slightly rotted. I heard some bad smell from one of soil bags, but it was very thin and came off when all ingredients was put together. I'll correct soil hp with putting feeding in the future. Ladies sits under one 100W lamp (one of a three segments). Ventilators are off (except one in the air chennel). Now I'm waiting for new week begins. Awesome vegetation period starting!

Utilizo macetas altas de 1,4L que riego con abundante agua, antes de plantar las semillas. Cuando germinan las planto bien etiquetadas y pulverizo agua, sin regar. Así evitamos movimientos indeseados de las semillas. 18h de luz 6h de oscuridad. Los balastros ajustados a 250w. Durante la semana, van saliendo los cotiledones de todas las plantas.

Show off the behind the scenes stuff that leads to boss lady’s pictures. Now we will see how we get to those shots. And what a way to start! Wickedstixgenetics Herercane. A custom breed brought to us by the former machine that was green! We’ve seen the fire that comes from his grows so I’m really pumped to take this project on. We have his full line and will be running them all right here and on insta. Since this was a Greenmachine breed and venture, how could I NOT run this in dutch buckets. This man saved my hydro ass more than a few times, and he raves these buckets and maxi since the day we first said hello. So that’s how this will be done. This bucket set up is basically just a scaled down version of the one I built for when they get bigger. After seeing how much size his solo cups did and ours is doing in 16oz cups, I decided to do the veg in this set up using 24oz or so cups. Once they are ready for flowering I’ll transplant into the big table I’m still putting finishing touches on. So, here it is. The beginning of something wonderful. Please follow along. El cultivo lo empiezo en interior y para fin de septiembre lo trasplanto afuera directamente en la tierra. A ambas plantas le puse un nombre particular, #1 Gina Herer, #2 Juana Herer.

- June 19th - 10 days after planting the seedling - the plant is developing very well - the first shoot is emerging - Day 13 - today the lady was watered with 0.8 ml of BioBizz Bio-Grow mixed in a total of 400 ml of water

Everything is going smoothly, she’s starting to produce a lot of resin, becoming very frosty. I’ll do a little bit less of feeding this week, it seems she isn’t wanting as much food anymore.

Week 4 update - had to list it as a flower week as we flipped em half way through. Exotic wasn’t lying - the spicy bitches hit maturity rather quickly and we now have a guaranteed 2 males and 3 females - perfect ratio score👌👍. Balls started showing in a span of 12-36 hours. One of the females entered flower early so she may be a dud, an auto or just stressed for some unusual reason. We’ll probably either separate er or let it grow with the rest and pitch it. Won’t be using that seed knowing that underlying issue. Similarly, one of the males has also demonstrated some fan leaf mutation - I actually like this kind of variation and it makes things interesting so bonus there👍. The rest of em are doing just fine. So god damned nice to have a run that’s on a quick schedule to finish within 3 months. It’s been a long year for the pollen chuck and we’re really looking forward to the upcoming all fem. Run. For now though - conditions look ripe for a bunch of awesome crosses, any one of which could be pure 🔥. Till next week yall🤟. Background Fingers crossed that these Spicy Bitch regs provide at least one male so that we can back build some stock of it. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. Many thanks to @Exoticseeds for the chance to give these beans a go👍👊. Pollination Strains: Holy Surfer S1 - this is one of the focal points for this cycle. A fellow growmie was kind enough to ship over some S1 genetics I took an interest in. The only ask back was that if I did cross it to send a few his way for testing👍. Shoutout and cheers to @blendmedmedman. Hoping to have something back to ya in short order. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.
