The Blackberry Moonrocks have a really solid structure, they're looking super healthy. They're nice and big, but it does seem like they could be stretching a bit more. We might need to adjust the lighting or the nutrients to encourage them to grow taller. Well, another year has come and gone. Hey Growers, end of week 11 from seed Ran into an issue this week, my ph meter broke and I had to purchase a different model at a local hydroponics store because It was feeding time. If I wanted the same ph meter I would have to order it online, I couldn't afford to have the plant wait another day or 2 For feeding. This new ph meter gave me different readings as to the old one. I have a record of the amount of nutrients I feed it everytime, for example with the old ph meter after adding nutrients to the water, ph meter would read 4.5 - 5.0, ill add 7-10 drops of ph up and it would rise to 6.1 - 6.3. With the new ph meter after adding nutrients to the water, ph reads 4.0 and i have to add 15 - 25 drops of ph up so the Ph goes up to 6.1, I calibrated the new one and ran different tests with different liquids and it seems to be pretty accurate, The old one cost me $14 compared to the new one which cost me $60. Will continue to use the new meter and hope the plant adapts to the new ph Levels, so far I see less orange on the leaf tips Colas are getting thicker, its been a slow flowering process for this plant, looks like its growing dense buds. Smell is a bit stronger, it used to smell weird but its now slowly smelling better 🍋 ⛽️ No amber in trichomes yet. Increase in orange hairs on the buds Increase in red stems, will decrease light intensity for 5-6 hours QUESTIONS when should I begin flushing?

Welcome back to growfessor theatre! Week 4F begins in the 4x4. Heavy defoliation performed on the Mandarin dreams and Do-si-dos, Green Crack and LSD got a light defoliation. LSD had the most yellowing, she seems to be the hungriest for nutrients. Not much else to report, the ladies are happy, healthy and bud is developing nicely! These are clones that I managed to take from my summer garden that became a disaster due to a heat wave that we had breaking 100 year records. I expect everything to be 48” in height at maturity.

So excited to start a Mephisto grow! I will update once they sprout out of the ground. I soaked them in Ph water for 12 -24 hours. I then put a paper towel in a zip lock and pour the ph water and seed in between paper towel. Put it in a dark warm closet on top of a heating pad on low and usually and wait until the babies pop. Once popped they go into the super soil i prep for them in a 5 gall cloth pot

04.25 F29 So I just posted all of these this week, so Ill give a little more background for documentation’s sake and those curious. Started with 30 beans. Selected down to 19 in veg by vigor and further down to 15 after culling males. The passion berry, deadstar and star pupil are feminized - the rest are regs, so should have some pheno variability. I made a few different types of living soil at the beginning of this grow due to the a availability of different composts. All roughly 1:1:1 base(reclaimed living soil):aeration:compost with appropriate amount of amendments from a coots kit on buildasoil. Composts are my homemade bokashi based quasi-vermicompost, OLY Fish or NaturesLivingSoil concentrate. I use cal mag and Neptune's Harvest fish hydrolysates drenches and foliar in veg to balance deficiencies and top dressed before flower with Organic Maine lobster compost. Just applied my first homebrewed compost tea made with worm castings, OM lobster, NH hydrolysate, kelp meal, and black strap molasses and looking forward to a second half(+) of flower. Most of veg was under COBs, but I upgraded to meiju qb288s for late veg and flower - loving them! 05.01 F36

One more week of flush, the leaves are starting become yellow. The buds are getting fatter and frosty. Check out the video that i v made. One more thing fellas, i'v put two graphics showing an experience that i'v made measuring the ph and ec of runoff for some weeks: 1 - About PH: my soil always buffer about 1 pt of ph. Except in the day 08/08 that i made a full flush. 2 - About the EC: You can see in the start of the graphic some peaks. This is beacuse i was alternating between solution and tap water. After that i started aways put the solution in every watering and the graphic become more estable following the concentration of ec until the flush in 08/08. I dont know exactly why this buffer of ph and ec occurs. I think that it was because i'm recycling the soil over the grows. :] Next week, HARVESTTTT!

Grow diary 11 stage 5 Days 41-50 During the week she had some training and I removed the damaged leaves. The whole grow has suffered from me not getting the watering schedule sorted. This westcoast hasn't started with the pistils yet but she can't be far off. Hopefully I haven't done to much damage.
