Week 2 the plants stretched so much that I ended up having to transplant them deeper into their pots

01/08 The plants are growing strong and the topping was a success! I started using SCROG to help me bend the stems easily and it seems to be working like a charm! I adjested the feed as recommended by the manufacturer and they seem to take it just fine 04/08 I've been away the past couple of days, it's been hot and the babies were thirsty! I decided to change to final 18L pots so I give them plenty of time to accommodate before flowering. The plants look healthy, no sign of anything wrong, I just think they needed water. I kept the same soil composition, kept the same feeding and we'll see in a couple of days how they recover.

I love this plant. She is so pretty and stinky. Not much to report just waiting on more amber trichomes and the chop chop. Hopefully the next update will be a harvest.

Day 14 Veg: A great start to the week once they settled into their new pots. hopefully i havent stunted their progress. The mutant Banana Mash is now trying to normalise a little more with new growth. Still fairly twisted but on the mend. The other 3 are more typical of new plants with their growth . I have topped one and fimmed another with one being left natural at this point. They are on their 5th node mainly ( except mutant!) and I am hoping to open their frames right up to get light to all new growth equally. I don't think they will grow too tall by design and I don't want to limit their growth in any way so i will gently manage them as they grow. The Purple Monkey are doing brilliantly so far with plenty of vigorous growth among them. I am holding the 5th nodes down on two of them and have fimmed one. These are in bigger 60L pots so should use the space to its best I think. I also have 2 plants that came from the recent harvest. One of the ladies must have had a pollen sack hid away that managed to seed a few of the exotic girls amd visited some possible viable hybrids. 2 of these are now in the grow alongside. I will be watching them like a hawk and any sign of a testicle will result in a slaughtering of the LGBGTQ sympathiser instantly . lol We do male or female only unlike the human race !!. heehee ( bit of a political hot potato!). I gave them an actual megacrop feed today to boost the available elements for the speedy growth coming. The L.o.s is still active and providing enough nutrition but I am trying to avoid the drop once the stretch period gets busy and saps the available food from it. This seems to have been happening most crops since beginning using it to avoid the leaves losing their solent green colour too fast like starvation can cause. I also added a touch of calmag to counter the L.e.d leeching that often occurs in flowering. So there we have it Growmies. A good week with the beginning of l.s.t and some promising growth. Another issue that I have managed to resolve is the R.h. We are getting warm dry air now so the room is getting silly hot and very dry at around 40% . This is great for the flowering times but has been an issue for veg in the past. not wanting to invest in a humidifier that is costly and expensive to run , I had resulted to using towels in buckets to attempt to raise it this does work in a totally sealed tent , in my leaky d.i.y "tailored " one , this has been hard to maintain. The solution came in the form of a vicks vaporiser that I bought from fleabay. It works perfectly to bring up the rh to around 70% on its lowest setting. The tank is enough to hold a days supply of water and shuts off with the lights. simple but effective fix to a common problem we face indoors. Be safe and well. Until next time. Trop Cherry #8 x BeeJayz hasn’t been topped, I transplanted the girls this week from a 1 gallon pot to a 3 gallon pot. Trop Cherry was in a plastic pot but now in a fabric pot. Plants seem to be growing well.

Week 4 and we're watching the grass grow. As Trichomes start to develop upon touch I smell a strong lemony limey smell, best way to describe it is a strong lemon Cleaner scent, it is a Very pleasant scent actually. The foliage is starting to fill back in a bit after the Defoliation. The free seed Pheno is doing amazing and handled and has recovered from the Defoliation quite well as well as the other phenos. The second larger Pheno #2 I've noticed in the past week some purpling of the stem and it's doesn't seem to have as fast growth as Pheno 4. I don't know if the purple is being caused by the Defoliation or if it due to the temp drop when lights are off which would be an average of about 68 degrees. I will continue to monitor to see how it has effected the plant of if it causing and color changes in the buds.

Hello there! This is my first time trying to grow Fruit spirit. I am beyond excited to try out this strain from RQS. I have learned a lot from previous grows so I hope this girl will turn out beautifull. Happy growing Xo- Nientje

Finally starting to see some roots underneath and some decent growth up top. I’ll update again after changing out the reservoirs to see if that helps with some of what I think is a nitrogen toxicity.

Grow Diary Update: Week 4, Day 2 🌱 Everything is going great today! The plants are really starting to take off, and the canopy is coming along nicely with the LST (Low Stress Training) and topping I’ve been doing. I did have to flush the other day because the PPMS were way too high for this stage, but that’s all sorted now—running at 438 PPMS on the way out, so they're much happier now. 😊 Looking at flipping to flower by the end of Week 5, maybe Week 6 at the latest. The plants are getting no more than 500 PPFD right now, typically hanging around the high 400s, which seems to be working well for them at this stage. In a couple of days, I’ll be increasing the light intensity and boosting up my feed to prepare them for the transition to flower. 🌸 Overall, they’re on track and looking strong. Can’t wait to see how they develop over the next couple of weeks! ✌️

week 7 first flowering week when I finally discovered my princess was actually a prince. 12/12 flowermind ferts (6ml + 0.5g) LST + defoliation started seeing some thrips again, but just a few, nothing to worry so, the plant stayed for 4 weeks in the tent, under COB LED 200W.

Her buds are much bigger than my other outdoor grows. Im excited to see how they develop!

I started germination of 3 Crystal Candy fv beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their home. Cant wait! This is my first look at this variety so I have no background information on experience for this one. But I will get some from this grow, and if shes blessed. There could be a second run in the future.

During week 13 the BANANA KRUMBLE (=Banana Punch x OG-Kush) from GREENHOUSE SEEDS is developing FANTASTICALLY! The buds have a nice PURPLE coloration and are COVERED IN TRICHOMES! They shine like little stars when I go in at night and make a foto with the flash on...ITS AMAZING to see. All main- and sidebranches have developed into HUGE COLAS, which are full with DANK buds. The bud structure is very compact...I LOVE IT! 😍The topbuds are now so heavy that the plants lean into the two layers of nets I put in to support them. I am glad I installed the trellies already during veg., because now the plants need them. The nice dark green color of the leaves and the fat buds show that the plants are VERY healthy and therefore the BIOTABs nutrients and the spectrum and intensity of the SANlight LEDs work perfectly for growing cannabis. After all they were both especially designed to do exactly that...lol The two Q4W-Gen.2 fixtures on the sides are running at 100% (=3 green lights on dimmer ON) and the Q3WL-Gen.2 in the center is running at 80% (=two green light on the dimmer ON). All three lamps are hung at 40 cm distance to the top of the plants. I water the plants with PURE TAB-WATER, since the BIOTABS nutrients are self-regulating. There is no need for measuring the ph- and EC-value of the water, since you do not need to adjust it. Its VERY CONVENIENT and saves me a lot of time! The smell of the 8 plants is VERY STRONG now and the aroma is WONDERFUL! It is sweet and fruity with a 'gassy' undertone from the OG-Kush parent. Until now this round goes VERY WELL and I am very satisfied with quality of the genetics from Greenhouse Seeds. The plants grow exactly as the description in their catalogue states, and that is rare thing nowadays! 👍😎
