**Week 8 - Third Week of Flower** Things are getting wild in the Donutz tent! After the insane stretch last week, the plants have turned the space into a full-on jungle. The start of Week 8 called for drastic measures, and the results are setting the stage for explosive bud production. **Key Updates**: - **Aggressive Defoliation**: On Day 1 of the third flower week, the plants underwent a *brutal* defoliation. Every bud site that had started to develop its own leaves was stripped of its fan leaves, allowing light to flood the canopy. Even the smallest sites now have excellent exposure, giving them the best chance to mature into chunky nugs in the coming weeks. Despite the intensity of the trim, the plants are resilient and primed to bounce back strong. - **Boosted Nutrients**: To support the plants after the stress of defoliation, I added another 5-6g of Greenhouse Feeding Bloom per plant. This ensures the soil stays nutrient-rich and gives the plants the resources they need to recover and thrive. - **Watering**: Still rocking reverse osmosis (RO) water, ensuring clean and efficient hydration without any surprises. **Observations**: - The canopy is significantly cleaner and more open, with light now reaching deeper into the lower sections. - The plants are handling the defoliation well, with no immediate signs of stress or shock. - Bud sites are already looking promising, with visible development and an even distribution across the canopy. **Looking Ahead**: The next few weeks will be all about letting the plants recover and watching the buds stack up. With improved light penetration and a fresh dose of nutrients, everything is lined up for some impressive development. The Donutz are thriving, and the Florida Gang vibes are at an all-time high — the tent is set to deliver big!

We at week 5 Flower and the buds are still pushing !! From week 1 to now I did not encounter any issues on the plant

Had a bit of a ph issue so I gave em a flush. Hasn’t seemed to affect their progress. Still holding strong! The clones are also doing really well! Kept the 8 strongest and ripped the rest. Freshly topped today (2nd day after transplant to 2 gal pots). Just following the GH nutrient schedule to the letter. Love their nutrient line. Blütewoche 6 Was soll ich sagen die Blüten werden immer fetter und fester. Ich bin eigentlich nur noch alle zwei Tage am gießen. Mehr ist nicht zu tun. Gut das die Gemüseanzucht wieder los geht sonst wäre es fast langweilig 😉 Die Pflanzen sehen nach wie vor sehr gesund aus, lediglich im unteren Bereich merkt man langsam das Nährstoffe verlagert werden. Trauermücken sind kaum noch zu sehen. Da haben die fressfeinde sich wohl gelohnt. Die Skywalker ist eine sehr einfach anzubauende Sorte. Bei mir haben sich meiner Meinung nach 4 unterschiedliche Phenos gezeigt. Lasst mir dazu aber gerne eure Meinung da! Liebe Grüße 🖖

Semana de transición entre el abono para el periodo vegetativo (Bio Vega) y el abono que utilizaremos durante el periodo de floración (Bio Flores). El primero más rico en nitrógeno y el segundo, en fósforo, magnesio y potasio. Mezclo Bio Rhizotonic + Bio Vega + Bio Flores y riego con 50 litros de agua, todo el cultivo... Alterno riegos cada tres días, unos con abono y otros con agua. La próxima semana, elimináremos Bio Vega.

Day 9 and allready can see the roots in the bottom of the first small pot. She is getting feed with Hesi Nutrients. Day 12 had to repot as you see in photos roots were ready to transplant

I determined she had 5 or 6 closely stacked nodes so I topped her and applied manuka honey to the wound. After topping she is 3.5 inches tall and very bushy. Never heard of weedseedsexpress before coming to grow diaries. Saw the contest as a great opportunity to try new seeds, and I was very surprised with the outcome. 100% germination rate, super strong plants, easy to grow, when it comes to pests and plagues, also performed well... even tho one was chopped because of becoming hermie, didn’t had any other issues with it. They like space to grow! And taking 2kg from 5 plants, to me, it’s an absolute record! I’ll definitely wanna try now more of @weedseedsexpress and recommend you guys to try them too. Weed has been drying now for 4 days, so, pretty soon I’ll be able to add the final weight!

Ending up trans set 1 got a lil more space in GH...topped up the other also did some defoliation(everything) and LST HST( set 1&2)

I'm really contemplating dropping Bruce & Diesel. They're developing very badly. We'll see how they continue to develop, another week and it will be clearer.

All in all this was an amazing harvest I usually have around 8-10 plants and harvest anywhere from 24-36 ozs per harvest with the 8 plants I had this harvest including the biscotti mintz and cookies USA I ended up with 898g total dry weight with all top quality flower. I’ve learned some things with all my previous runs when it comes to dialing in my quality and yield and definitely watching for those herms because I like to push my plants to the max when it comes to training ! This week has been one of great gains in both size and vegetation we have seen a vertical leap in two plants that is astronomical almost 4 inches in a week! Had to do some pruning to expose new bud and a little bit of low stress training on to plants to see if we can expose light to the underside and perhaps get a little more love out of our lower buds The stalk size on almost all of these plants is almost as big as your thumb but on one it is actually relatively skinny that is the one we’re doing the low stress training on we just started the low stress training and it is taking very well to it One of these plants is extremely dark in color on the vegetation and has typically about 11 fingers per leaf! Not sure what that means yet
