Day 36. She has responded well to being left in the dark. I wanted some more vertical growth. She has stretched upward a few inches yay. I’m excited to watch her grow. Since my other girl is in such a small pot we can see both options.

They were showing signs of Ca and Mg deficiencies and I increased my CalMg additive at 350ppm before I add my base nutrients. They seem to love it.

Wow what a week. We are at 48” as of day 20 on the Enemy of The State plants (both are the same height now). The two White Criticals were 36 and 38 inches from the top of the tanks and the taller tops on Purple Purple are about 34”. Wedding cake is about 30” now. All my plants seem to love the 5.2 pH. Enemy of the state are on a lighter feed of about 950ppm and wedding cake is still eating from a vegetive reservoir at 1125ppm. Thanks for looking!

Day 57. Girls okeish except damaged leaves by thrips and by my sprays with most probably too much neem oil in it. Lady bugs all over plants, so i think i should beat problem easy till first heavy flowering training session... By book its 50 bugs vs one LadyBug a day, i imagine that they will start to starve like tomorrow latest ;))) Day 62. Yesterday got more help to fight thrips and ordered new variety of natural predators to keep on ... With such dense canopy fight is very hard, in smaller tent all is sorted, in this one i still see damaged leaves and sometimes thrips still .... Anyway, even with those issues they are really nice girls, will do heavy training on Tuesday or Wednesday ... Idea is to do hard defoliation and then introduce new army of predators, i will loose some during training 4 sure... I still see lady bugs and and i released larvae already, will give them 4 more days to get hungry ;))) Happy Growing !!!

Commencing week 5/Day 29: on Nov 21st Day 29 All is doing well now and a few more plants have roots in water but tomorrow is going to be well below freezing as well as the humidity has dipped very low Day 32 Still growing steady the cold temps and low humidity haven't hurt or slowed them down too much Day 34 Happy to say 6 out of 8 girls have pretty massive root masses developed in past week into bucket. I have been very lightly foliar feeding every day a slightly acidic low ppm solution. Lights were put back on timer since the temp and humidity are going back up I don't need the lights for heat. pH has remained steady for past two days in low to mid 5.8s. Is this too steady I wonder 🤔 I put on fans today today as well as under lighting LED strip. D35 Am check-in and all is going well. All 3 Gorilla Zkittlez are absolutely killing it, way bigger than the rest of the bunch. Although the 818 Headbands and the Raspberry Diesel are not far behind. Unfortunately both the Boss Hoggs seems to be runt-ish. One especially is really funny looking. But I always cheer for the under dog in the fight so who knows 😎 Turned off under lighting. Raised overhead LED Panels up 3-6 inches and re-oriented (angled) towards girls. *I've decided to break off the barely mentioned personal crosses into their own journal in the next few weeks in case anyone was watching or wondering, it's coming. I'll be editing this journal accordingly when the time comes to be more accurate and useful. Lastly I am adding a new journal today for "🍋🍰" aka Lemon Cake by Moxie. Welcome to my CBDV diary. Has been blast.. there's so much more to growing a CBD plant, my point is I'm far from where I want to be with the Quality of the end product as far as density goes. (I got the quality part down) she's 1 stinky sticky ass bitch. Wk 9 Day 58-63 Plant was kept on feed till the bitter end. She was confided to the 70cm2 for her last few weeks of life but I've no doubt, if I had of kept her going under the FC 3000 she would of reached deeper down and gave me denser buds on top. There is so much airy ripe bud below I'd say it'll make up for 1/3 of the overall harvest. Which will be quite a lot. Id say in the 80-100g no doubt. She has some major big buds that are stacked with swollen calyexs that are glistening and very sticky. I can she's had enough. I didn't have the light to finish the end that the FC 3000 created on a lot of my autos. On most I clipped it away after I had to confine my plants to their own tents for good. But, she kept eating. Wk10 63-67 I stopped everything nutrient wise. And let her finish the ride out on water until day 67 and she gladly ate what was in her pot and showed no signs of wanting more, so I hard flushed her 1x pot value (11L) and got a ppm of 900ish, so 2x (22ish) more the pot value until it came down to 210. And for 3 more days I left them girls drink what they could from the pot and left them under my 100w where they've lived the past 3-4 weeks and I'm gonna pull them this week, they are resting 30hrs already and then I'll pull them, and harvest them whole, roots and all will be pult and I'll shake the clay off, bag the roots and hang dry upside down, (so no dirt falls on the buds while drying from the roots) and will dry at 55-60 rh with a temperature of 17-19c. I'll try keep the RH around 59 but I'm not gonna worry too much if it differs from that range. I already cut a wee bud off her the today, just a small 1 to try her for taste. And I'll rate it on harvest. As she's low on CBD, I'll rate her on taste. But, she'll be a nice addition to my full THC smoke no doubt. Never really removed any substantial growth from her to even call it a defoliation, there really was no need. I done a decent job at LST and my plants got rotated every day and I pult nodes/leafs this way and that. So, I'm happy with the results. She has a lot of girt and not too much lollipoped with a good amount of CBDV bud in 70 days. Very nice indeed.. Thanks so much for looking at my diary guys. I hope to do better the next time. But, as I am using dry additive powders I'm sure I'll be able to dial in that key nutrient ratio for my CBDS. She's been my biggest auto of this grow. At 71cm tall, and a big ass cola I am very happy. She has a lot of girt and stinks fruits, mainly passion, I'm guessing. As I've learnt, you don't know the true smell of your weed until you get at least a 2 month cure on it. Harvest Day.. Day 70 was done on day 65 then I left as I like my weed little on the harsher side. She very punchy. Has like a deep wood smell but very citruses with hints of tropical fruits. I've harvested 6 autos today. And, its hard to pick up the smell. Very sweet smelling and citrus fruits. (Ill give a more independent smell profile upon the trim and hopefully she'll come into her true smell upon a 2 month cure. Day 56- GC is trying to catch up. I think stabbing the main helped a lil lol. Few random plucks on WG tonight, and don't even want to start on GC for now. May clean it up a bit later depending on how the back feels. It's got a ton of branches that are going to be too close REAL soon. Kinda f'd GC off over a week ago, and said I'd run it again in the future to make up for it. So not too pressed on how it looks, as long as it stays alive until WG chopping day. Atleast it wasn't a male 🤣. Anyway, bumped the girls up to the "aggressive" mid bloom GHE feed. Using TAP water to reduce the amount of calmag needed since mine has N in it.. Breakdown as follows: 5gal TAP water - 137ppm 15mL calmag - up to 252ppm 10mL hydroguard Micro- 33mL Grow- 33mL Bloom- 47.5mL RES total after PH correction - 818 @ 5.91. ============================================================================================= Day 57- I REALLY need to cut back GC... like yesterday... backs been hurting something fierce, and I'm out of my medicine of choice ATM. few random plucks on WG today. may make my way in there again later and start hacking away at GC. will update pic if I do. They're both liking aggressive feed, maybe a touch too heavy on the N though. *edit* 🎶oops, i, stabbed it again...🎶 lol. still feel there's a branch that's gotta go. Started pulling WG out some to help expose lowers. Need more garden wire for sure ============================================================================================= Day 58- cut back GC even more.. we'll keep it alive, but I'll make sure it doesn't block the beloved WG. remember, there will be a list of things I learned I did WRONG in this experiment and will share at the conclusion. WTF... that things confused ASF or something... just dont herm on me... WG finish is right around the corner.. a few weeks... hang in there GC... hang in there... ive been topping off with 80% strength nutes and RO water, and the EC has remained pretty consistent. may bump em up one more time for WG next week to help fatten her up some. right before we dial it all back for the end. WG already looking pretty frosty, and the weatherman is predicting some more in the next weeks. *edit* added a night vid to show my WG defol struggles. Its easier to see why the foliage looks so thick and it needs a trim when lights on when you see lights off.. We're down to a few fans towards the bottom to help out down there. Rest are connected to bud sites, and are limited. May need to add a small fan blowing up WG skirt soon. ============================================================================================= Day 61- nothing really to report. tried to kill the ice probe, and put frozen 1L bottle (in 12hr rotations) to see how it performed. i think 61.2 is a little too cold for my liking, and one morning i woke the temp was over 71.. the roots are messing with the flow and the water isnt getting chilled as much with the probe. problem ive been facing for the last week or so. ice probe back in, and warming up the tent with its exhaust again.. should fab up a duct system for a 3d printer... ideas... tinkercad here we go.. ============================================================================================= Day 62- kinda feel bad for leaving GC out of the shot yesterday. Since she's riding along in this experiment... added her back today. WG is starting to phase 2. Her finish is coming within the next 2-3 weeks I'm guessing. Maybe 4?
