Doing a good bit of defoliation this week. Really want undergrowth to start thriving. Using stem clips to space everything out. Day. 24 used tap water with ph of about 7.5. Soil ph down so using higher ph water with out ph balancing

It has been about a year since my last diary had to take some time off. My wife had cancer. We had to take care of that now I'm back. Maybe I can get a diary or 2 .

Started the first topping and She hated it Shocked her near to death..... This is where she started to show what she is made of and still to this day I don't have a clue what she is but soon will know

Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

So she had some nice growth this last week. I'm hoping this next week is its last bit of growth, can only move the light up another 3 to 4 inchs. I've got to clean up the lower section A bit more, more growth there then I'd like. So far it's growing a lot nicer then the last plant I did in this tent with a SCRog set up. The size of the squares on the last grows netting were 6" and this one is 4". Way easier to get a proper looking SCRog plant then with the 6" that's for sure. Now that the temperature outside has warmed up the night time temperature has been better then earlier weeks. The humidity has also gotten a lot better. Especially after I add a 4" muffin fan to the lower 4" duct hole. The humidity went up but the temperature went down a bit during lights on. Ive had to lower my temperature switch just to get the 4" duct fan to turn on to suck out the stail air. Think what I'll do is add a second plug to the temperature switch so I can add the 4" muffin fan to it so that itll only turn on when the temperature goes up instead of running 24/7. I've increased the feed up to 1000ppm and am give it 1.5L of water a day with 250ml max run off. My run off ppm is only 1080ppm so that's a great sign so far. I've been trying my best to keep the ppm levels equal every feed but itf luctuates a bit but no more then 60-80ppm. Same with my Ph, because I'm using the Jungle Juice base nutrients it's not part of Advanced Nutrients Ph perfect line so I have to adjust it. I usually try to have it swing back and forth between 5.9 and 6.1 and the plant seems to be liking it. Tho I'm not done this grow yet this light is doing a lot better in this tent then the last light. Only downside is that one burnt out diode. Because I always try to plan a grow ahead, I'm already planning on trying that last light out again (Phlizon PH-1000 125w that they apparently don't make anymore). But this time it's going to be in my 2x3x5 fusion hut tent with Royal Queen Seeds Fast Eddy CBD AUTO strain. Also going to add a ex hale bag to it. Well that's all for now growmies. Keep growing!!!

Last week I didn't have time to make an entry. But this week here I am, and with a video! The main stem and primaries are thick as f***. The bush has become monstrous but I manage to get airflow underneath the plant as well. Tied some of the main branches in the last week, but no more tying as it gets much bushy. As the fan leaves are huge and leaning down around the pot, added some side support to raise the sides so the air can go underneath the canopy. I'm tucking less as I think of switching to 12/12 in a week. I raised the lights but got less increase in height than the raised amount. I am not thinking on defoliation of any kind as I do not like taking living leaves away from the plant. But if it is too important and I am missing A LOT by not defoliating the lower leaves, please comment with detailed suggestions so I can apply them. But the leaves are very healthy, so I don't want to take any of them away. Now I have 6 white, 4 yellow bulbs and a 45w white cfl. But during flower, I plant on changing the white cfl to 32w yellow, and ad 2 more yellow bulbs. In total it will add up to 180w (18000 Lumens from the leds, 6 white 6 yellow) and 2250 lumens from the yelllow CFL. Maybe ı will add a second 32w yellow cfl mid flower. The Blue Dream has been defoliated to expose more flower sights. She is suffering from a slight nutrient deficiency with the leaves turning yellow. The Blue Dream has received a dash of chicken poo and a swig of compost tea. The lady receives her feedings as required as usual. The plant has grown a steady 5cm this week. She is emitting some kind of floral aroma and her stigmas are filling most of the internodes plus calyxes beginning to swell. Caution must be taken through the next three weeks. Deficiency must be fixed. She stands at 85cm tall!

Day72, the pistils are getting brown and some trichoma starts to have amber color 😋 a more watering with nutrients and osmosis water until the end. Size 67 cm👏🏻👏🏻 temperature 24º C ☀️, humidity 60% 💧 watering 750 ml 💦💦 Session 45 min. of binaural sounds for growth and healing 🎼 and music 😉👍

Acapulco Gold has grown out of control, the lights can't go up any further, and the plant is burning on the LED's. This really is a massive plant. Let's hope the smoke is good, as it looks like there will be a substantial amount here by the end! 😅😁👌 I have been turning the plant around to try and minimize the damage from the heat and light. Other than that, the plant is looking really good, this is going to be a long one for sure! The only bottled nutrient I use is silica's 5ml per gal every other week. Other then that I use the EM-1 and ferments I make my self to water and spry the plant. I’m mainly relying on what’s already in the soil and what I’ll be top dressing the plants with as they grow and need more food.
