Day 62 Another defoliation

Day 34-28/08/22 this girl looking good shes just about to start flower!!!

Watered for the last time on Thursday going to have them dry out in their pots for 3 days and them chop them down I'm thinking probably on Sunday. Also have been using ice and cold water to flush pretty happy with the colors and trichome production. After completing week 14 successfully the plants are going to be harvested tomorrow Sunday the 23rd, the first day of Week 15/Week 10 of flower. This grow has been really awesome and a great first experience at growing, I'm so far pleased with how the buds have turned out, they are very dense and the smell is a strong berry vanilla fragrance that smells delicious. Buds have a decent amount of trichomes on them they foxtailed a little bit due to higher temps in flower but so far so good onto drying and curing now cross your fingers that goes well I do wish I was able to bring out a bit more color in the buds though.

In the beginning of the week she was standing a bit crooked. I will be mainlining soon and I want her central stem to be strong. So I tied her stem to a chop-stick to do a bit of low stress training prior to topping her. At the end of the week, I topped her as step one in mainlining. Also took her top and attempted a clone. There were 4 girls that germinated on the same day. This one is the healthiest and had one more node than her sisters. I will wait a week and then top her sisters. She was well over 9" tall before topping. Also hit the hydro store and picked up some Fishsh!t and Recharge. Added that, worm castings and some Down to Earth dry amendments to brew up a compost tea. Gave her a big sip on 3/4 after topping her. We'll see how she looks next week. Check out the 2.99 humidity dome that my hubby made for me. Picked up a clear (except for the flowers on the sides) tote at the dollar store. He used plastic tops from QT to create vents at the top of the dome. It's nice and tall for my clones.

I have a cutting I took from a gorilla gas F1 fast flower by seedsmen I did it last year. I took the cutting when she was in flower. I put her in an organic grow plug that I got from seats man as well and I tortured her and I forgot to water it and I left it in there and then I put her in 1 gallon and I haven’t tried to do anything but she survived everything so I’m gonna grow her out into a full-size plant. I’ll probably put it in a bigger pot and do a small smaller grow not so many plants next time I think she’ll really be something. 4/14 1;23pm I turned the light up to 114 W and I’m just under 120. I’m trying to feel the driver and keep it cool so it doesn’t heat the room up. I have some plants in there that I didn’t veg right so they’re kind of screwed up and I have too many of them. I’m gonna have to take some down. The extra plants are preventing the better plants from growing so my experiment making my own seeds, it actually worked, but it’s still not as good as getting it from the actual breeders. And I have a series of medical problems that disable me for several days at a time so plans not look good and then I get behind a little bit so that.

Day 43 - Tuesday 27/11/18 - changed the reservoir with fresh solution , getting a few mottled under leaves that suggest cal mag issue , or possibly ph , but I have double checked both of these so fingers crossed , I measured her today with my metre ruler and she is 73 cm tall , looks very bushy , I took a light on pic with my iPhone , and made you a little video 😜 I should just add , there are 3 plants in this picture , look back to week 5 and you will see , the lemon is very bushy , gorilla is tallest , Tangie seems to be fastest 👁️ I have also changed the temperature and humidity slightly. Day 44 - Wednesday - I have included the ruler for scale today, i see so many good pictures on here but the size can be questionable, so also proof i own a 1m ruler...lol , topped up with about 1.5 litres of water, EC was ok and ph perfect. If there are any pictures you would like to see please comment , with a little description. Day 45 - Thursday - I dont know what happened yesterday but she had drunk so much water ( added 3 litres + ) and needed 10 ml of A+B , Day 46 - Friday - Added 12 ml A+B and about 3 litres of water, she is in her super feeding stage, this week she has been devouring everything, some of the leaves I think are showing signs of under feeding but I really think its the strain on the plant as she tries to buildit is really tempting to up the nutrients but once you burn it, its never the same.I made you a video, enjoy. Very satisfied so far. This is the second week if you don't count the first week from seed to poping up! Only watered it twice in two weeks. My mix drains well but holds the right moisture for growth. Next week will be the real proof of genetic quality!

Hi all I hope you had a wonderful Christmas 👍 So I got curious a few days ago and decided to have a fiddle with one of the buds from the Girl scout cookies plant. I let it dry in a paper bag first and then had a sqizz at it. After I tore it apart I was pleased to find a nice fat healthy seed (see 1st pic) well after that I thought to myself Bloody hell mate there must be a heap more of those fellas in there then, so with that in mind I harvested the whole plant. After that lot was dried I tore into it looking for more seeds (see video) but unfortunately I only ended up with the three viable seeds the others I found were either green or already damaged. Not to worry as atleast I have those three to attempt germination with which is better than a poke in the eye with a burnt stick as my old man likes to say. Ive partaken in a few bonghits as I write this of the Girl scout cookies bud that I harvested and I can tell you its some nice shit man 😁 The Gelato Plant will be harvested tomorrow and Im hoping that may have some seed aswell. The whole purpose of this experiment was to cross the Barneys Farm Red Diesel Feminised Pollen I created with a good tasty strain in an attempt in creating seed. So as far as that part goes & even tho I only got the three seeds I feel it was mostly a Success. I will definatey need to refine both my Pollen collecting and Pollinating techniques to achieve better results. Thankyou to all who followed along I enjoyed doing this diary. Day 19 of flower, I went ahead and lollipoped both girls. This will be my last time defoliating that heavy. As the days go by, I will defoliating here and there. They’re growing strong and healthy as well. 51 days until I harvest. I can’t wait! Catch yall on the next update ✌️🏾

So, she is more than 10 weeks old now, so according to Fast Buds, she should be ready by now. But I already realized, looking through other diaries here, that the time the plant takes depends on the conditions. From how the buds look, I would still give her almost two weeks. Let's see. In general, I guess, it shows that our light is not ideal for bloom, because definitely buds are not fattening up as they could. Unfortunately I noticed some dry and curled up smaller leaves, I will add a grow question about those.
