I've ordered myself a little holder thingy for the phone, so I can attach the pocket microscope to it and take stable pictures through it - until then, just believe me that the trichomes started to turn amber in large enough amounts that I did not want to wait any longer. Going for that active, energizing high, it was time to cut her! I will see that I fill in the growdiary live week by week from now on - I would have added a lot more thoughts and notes that way I believe. Might have slightly helped diagnosing the poor thing earlier. 😅 On the grow itself, there are several things I learned and want to improve going forward. For one, I am not going to carry that much water around a second time 😄 I can't really weigh this right now and I already started smoking it 😇 - but if possible I will try and provide a dry estimate later this month when I prepare the remains for curing.

Day 15 - The start of week 3 and the girls are really taking off, from 1-2 Inches of vertical growth daily. Consuming a good amount of water, almost leaving the bucket empty. lol. Lightly defoliating to keep the bud sites exposed to light, as they get bushy very fast and recovery is only taking a day for them to bounce back. Pretty happy with how things are going right now. Slightly increased the EC by .2 but not enough to burn them.. which is the goal. Grateful for my trolmaster unit as it has made keeping tracking of my parameters much easier and effortless. Day 16- Topping up the res with RO water every two days. Otherwise I'm sure it would be empty! Pistils are showing and the bud sites are very visible. Seeing one pheno with slightly more sativa dominant traits. Luckily I took clones so I can run the best pheno next time around, although all these plants are special. Still going through the flower stretch. Excited for what is to come. Stay tuned for the results. Day 18 - As you can see, the difference is night and day over a period of 2 days they have had an explosion of growth. They were heavily defoliated on day 17 and bounced back within a day. Hey guys, it's been a great journey but I've finally hung my Stardawg out to dry! Yesterday was their last day totalling 8 weeks on flower. Realistically they could have benefited from a further week because the lower buds are somewhat underdeveloped but then I would risk losing the preferred sweet high smoke of the top buds. With this being my first attempt it's been a great learner not only for how to care for the plants but also the environment. As soon as these went into flower and started stretching I knew that putting 6 in a 2.4 x 1.2m tent was a bad idea. They just got so big which is the cause of the lower sites not being as good as the top colas. Despite that I'm really happy with the outcome and I'm hoping ive got 30oz+ of real good quality nugs. All of the top colas have turned a gorgeous violet colour too which you can see on the pictures and I absolutely love. For my next grow I've gone with 6 fastbuds strains which hopefully will go under a scrog. Check back next week for the harvest and weigh in!

Blütewoche 5 läuft ohne Probleme. Die Buds werden schnell schwerer. Muss mir wahrscheinlich bald Gedanken machen sie zu stützen.

This grill went really well. In growing three different strains it did pose a bit of a problem later in flower due to differing light conditions needed by the three different plants. The Cali Kush being more Indica required less light and the jack Herer needed a bit more to finish nicely. This caused some light stress to the Cali Kush which caused late flower Hermes but didn’t cause any long-term problems like seeds or burn. All in all I’m happy with 600 g from a 4 x 4 tent and a 480 W light. This is especially true when you add in the Gaia Green and how easy it makes growing.
