Gran Jefa is definitely the biggest. 馃崑 馃崐 already shows that she probably will be the tallest... ...and she is the first that got fimmed (on day 16 since they sprouted out of the soil.)

I've stopped giving them fertiliser and did a root flushing 4 days ago. They are looking good, smaller buds of what could have been with the correct equipment and dedication but I can't complain. I don't have a magnifying glass so I'm basing myself on the pistils to know when to harvest. I think I'll give them one more week but everyone is welcome to give me advice, would love to receive feedback from more experienced people.

------------------------- | BLUEBERRY HARVEST | ------------------------- After two sunny days it is harvest time !! - Finally, 16 days of flush - At first thought, the trimming would be easier compared to my previous plants, but when removing more leaves, more buds appearing too hahaha so it took like 4 hours or more..It is not the most accuurate trimming but i had not much time that day, i removed all the leaves and branches after weighting it all.. Like i said on the last post, im harvesting having in mind my bud preferences (the later the better), weather, humidity and sunlight, so the first of the cloudy/rainy days she was chopped in the moring, attending the principle of thc regeneration at night.. Got to say that, i wasnt expecting such production (8 days until it was well dried), this plant started as the season saver because the Cheese started to flower in march, revegged etc.. and i have been rewarded with this BB, a true genetic portent !! If i could, i would keep her as mother forever ^^ The quality is awesome, she looks more like a WW talking about that coat of thc.. Flavour without proper cure, is deep earthy at first, transitioning to a fruity, sweet one, it is a pleasure to smoke, delicious sweet aftertaste.. Maybe, this is the last year with this awesome climate, because im planning to leave Spain.. Thank you for follow and check !!! I hope you liked the diary :) Song of the week : Radiohead - Codex Good Vibes GrowDiaries !! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 000000000000

馃槑Week 3 8/2- Here we go into week three and I'm looking to see some explosive growth happening in the tent soon!馃槂 The girls are all running 2 1/2" to 4" in height with the Seedsman Gelato OG's and FastBuds Purple Lemonade currently kicking all the others butts!馃挭 Gave a good watering this morning 2hrs after lights on with non-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.4. I plan on maintaining that watering schedule from here on out. I refilled the humidifier with non-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.5. Love the new setup with the two HLG quantum boards, 4 plants per light, and currently running at 400w per light. I'm looking forward to some record yields with this new setup using these 650R's! Temp's/RH/VPD are where they need to be at this point with daytime temp's maxing @ 83 Deg F/ nighttime @ 68 Deg F, RH @ 55%, VPD @ 9.0馃榾 8/3- Started compost tea last night, ingredients were; 5g de-clorinated 7.0ph water & 5tbsp unsulfured molasses, 4 cups worm castings, 1 cup alfalfa meal, 1 cup kelp meal, 2tbsp bat guano, 1 scoop Great White mycorrhiza and 3tbsp Neptunes Harvest seaweed extract which were added after the air was turned on and the 'bag' was in the bucket. I fimmed the FastBuds Purple Lemonade #2 and Seedsman Gelato OG #1, LST'd the FastBuds Crystal Meth #1 & #2, and the Seedsman Zkittles #1. Whilst doing all that I noticed my old friends the fungus gnats so I immediately placed sticky traps in all pots....little bastards! I went online and ordered Nematoads who will have a field day with the gnats! The girls all got watered in from the top and bottom with de-chlorinated straight water ph'd to 6.6 @ 76deg 225ppm, lights still @ 36" above the soil and running @ 400w each.馃槑 8/4- Gave the girls compost tea for breakfast. The tea had brewed for 38hrs., had 854ppm and ph'd @ 7.1...PERFECT! I split 4g of the tea between the eight ladies @ 1/2 gallon each. I also topped the FastBuds Crystal Meth #2 and Seedsman Gelato OG #2 and checked and adjusted LST on all. Temp's, RH, and VPD all on point with the girls are showing it! 8/5- Soil felt moist so skipping water today and will feed early AM. All the ladies have taken on a deeper shade of green and are really starting to take off since receiving the compost tea yesterday and they'll be going crazy by the end of this week going into week four. The FastBuds Crystal Meth #1 & #2 are both showing early flowering signs already and are starting to get some purple coloration in new growth which looks natural, not a deficiency. I topped the FastBuds Purple Lemonade #1 and Seedsman Zkittles #1 and checked/adjusted LST on all. 8/6- Gave a good watering this morning with 4g of de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.8, went through, and tucked leaves on all the girls to keep exposing lower bud sites to the light so that we have a nice even canopy for flower! All the girls have either been topped, fimmed or LST'd at this point and all I'll be doing from here on out is tucking leaves and possibly some very minor defoliation if needed, 8/7- All the girls look very happy this morning and are starting to get ready for that stretch at the beginning of flower. The FastBuds Crystal Meth's are the shortest, along with the Seedsman Zkittles #1 and the CM's are already showing pistils but I'm not declaring that they're in 'flower' quite yet. 8/8- Gave all the ladies a good water in this morning with .5g each of de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.9 @ 76deg. Went over all the girls and tucked shade leaves to expose bud sites, removed a couple of the ones that couldn't be tucked, and were blocking numerous bud sites. I also continued with LST on all bending branches outward to expose them to more of that HLG 650R goodness!

Almost at harvest. This is the last week of feeding then on to flush. I have it an extra week as I said before was not really satisfied with the overall performance of drip hydro. Buds seem to small and not dense as other nutrients I鈥檝e used. I will definitely run drip hydro again see if I can get better results. The real test will be at harvest after weighing. See you all soon.

Hello. This is the end of week 10 and the beginning of week 11 of flowering. The first pictures are of the tent opening in the morning. And I put it back each night. That allows me to go into flowering when I want. One more week of veg to go, before I turn it over to flowering. And it will be around August 7th to August 15 when I'll harvest. The plants have filled out their space now. and most are growing over the edges of the table. I plan to get growing tips going up this week. with a big prune/trim about 3 days before I switch. I like to let the plants heal for 3 or 4 days before going into flowering. To get over the shock I caused by trimming them up. Then they can go into flowering easier and turn over faster if they don't have to heal first. The smell when I open the tent is like slightly metallic, a bit sour ish, like some good Afghani hashish smells. Each plant got an extra minute of nutrient solution in the morning this week with no leaking out the bottom this week. And they will get another minute in a couple of weeks. That will make 4 minutes a day of food, and I feel with my fingers, when they feel dry around the edges they get a gallon or 2 of rainwater. They look healthy. No signs of bugs or pest. When I was opening the tent a few days ago I saw a ladybug, just sitting under one of the lights, getting warm 馃槈 and helping. My friend Jerry, who you've seen in other diaries, gave me lots of bamboo, some 7 feet long, to make a sort of netting to hold up the buds rather than tie them to the tent pole roof. OK. Stuff to do. See ya later. Chuck.
