Saturday 28th, 2024 April (week 4 & 30 days) The plants are getting thicker and taller, had a little mold on the bamboo skewer stick so I took all of them out. So now they’re standing tall between the garden ties. Pineapple Express (A) is winning the race for sure. I need to get a fan soon to clear out all the moisture. On Monday they’ll be a month old then it’s time for nutrients. Aug 1: looking really good with lots of stretch and lots of bud sites. Added another scrog net layer and clipped it to the next lower scrog net which is tied off with 500 g weights to gently hold things in place. These nets are great because it makes the whole plant more robust and they can focus on flowering rather than coping with winds that keep banging them around. Had the hail net on the plants for a hour this evening. Hard brief rain but no hail this time. Aug 7: still doing great. Check out the graphs compared to historic data. Global warming, duh. A bit warmer than average this year but record breaking rains this spring and summer.

In the end I can say that I am satisfied with both the yield and the taste of Mimosa. It will definitely satisfy my daily needs :). I wrote earlier but I will repeat the basic information: 81 days from when it sprouted until it was harvested. 3 weeks of vegetation. 7 weeks of flowering. 14 days drying. 123 g total yield. 2 Mimosas grown. They have both grown taller than 110cm making them one of the taller strains I have grown so far. All ten or so weeks passed without any problems, the only thing I was not very happy when I saw in which direction Mimosa # 1 is developing. After 14 days of drying in a grow box in the dark, I did the final trimming, weighed the dried flowers several times to keep my Mimosa # 1 and Mimosa # 2 from mixing, although it can be immediately recognized by the structure of the dried flowers. I then put them back in the jars and put moisture fighters in them that will regulate the moisture during curing in the jars. And here we are at the end, it’s obvious given the amount of text I’m enjoying Mimosa’s smokes as I write this latest report. Bonjour à tous les padawans et les maîtres jedis Pour cette semaine je prévoit de pratiquer comme technique spéciale le LST et juste un arrosage. Pour cela comme à mon habitude j'attend le cinquième noeud ou que je juge la plante robuste. Je profite que cette semaine qui va être relativement calme pour faire un LST appliqué et vous faire un rappel de ce qui est pour moi la meilleure technique pour arroser une autofloraison et la façon dont je pratique le LST. En suivant ces quelques simples conseils vous obtiendrez un résultat optimal tout au long de votre culture : Le cannabis est une plante qui n’aime pas recevoir un léger arrosage en continu. Il est impératif de l’arroser en grosse quantité, puis d’attendre que la terre soit bien sèche avant d’arroser à nouveau! Pour calculer la quantité d’eau nécessaire à chaque plante, suivez cette règle : Le volume d’eau à donner lors de chaque arrosage doit représenter au moins environ un quart du volume du pot !! Exemples : pour un pot d’1L, donnez 0,25L d’eau à chaque arrosage pour un pot de 4L, donnez 1L d’eau à chaque arrosage pour un pot de 12L, donnez 3L d’eau à chaque arrosage pour un pot de 30L, donnez 7,5L d’eau à chaque arrosage !etc… Pour donner un tel volume d’eau, il est souvent nécessaire d’arroser en deux (voir trois) fois, lentement et uniformément sur toute la surface. Disposez de bonnes coupelles sous les pots, celles ci se rempliront d’eau qui remontera dans le pot par capillarité en moins d’une journée. Il est également très important d’utiliser un bon terreau de qualité, avec une bonne capacité de rétention d’eau mais qui assure également un bon drainage (celui ci doit contenir de la perlite, et/ou de la coco, etc..) Il vous faut alors maintenant attendre quelques jours en sous-pesant régulièrement les pot avec vos bras. Quand ils seront redevenus très légers, vous pourrez arroser à nouveau !! En effet, comme l’eau pèse beaucoup plus lourd que la terre, un pot gorgé d’eau pèse plusieurs fois le poids d’un pot d’une plante prête à être arrosée. Avec un peu d’entraînement, vous apprendrez donc très rapidement à sous-peser vos pots pour savoir quand une plante a soif. C’est une technique à la fois très facile et très efficace, et qui peut être appliquée à toutes les plantes en pots ! En arrosant de cette façon, en général vous devrez arroser vos plantes tous les 3 à 6 jours. Pour cette semaine 3 au jour 17 ma plante fais 12 centimètres et son cinquième noeud apparaît je décide donc de pratiquer un LST sur ma plante. Pour ce j'utilise du fil de fer galvanisé que je plante directement dans le substrat en faisant attention de ne pas endommagé les racines car n'oublions pas que ce qui pousse dessus pousse aussi dessous. Jour 17 je pulvérise du une solution composé d'une cuillère à café de savon noir mou dilué dans un litre d'eau en prévention d'éventuels nuisibles. Je corrige mon LST suivant la pousse de ma plante ... Pour ma par c'est la manière dont je procède. Comme promis petit rapel de: Quand commencer à appliquer la technique LST De nombreux cultivateurs commencent la manipulation dés que les plantes possèdent entre 3 et 6 nœuds ou une paire de feuilles. Durant cette première étape de la croissance, le tronc encore flexible est pliable sans risque qu’il ne se casse, même si au fur et à mesure du développement de la plante il sera de plus en plus difficile de le plier. Nous pouvons continuer à guider la croissance des branches durant toute la culture, même durant la floraison, ce qui pour cette étape représente un grand avantage face à la taille, qui n’est pas du tout recommandé une fois que la formation des têtes commence, cela stressera en effet la plante, ce qui aura pour effet de retarder la récolte. Comment appliquer la technique de guidage LST Si nous sommes prudents, la flexibilité naturelle des fibres du cannabis permet de plier leur tronc et branches avec une relative facilitée, même durant la floraison des plantes. En utilisant une corde fine, nous pouvons accrocher la pointe de la plante à la base du pot par exemple ou à un tuteur que nous aurons planté dans le substrat. Nous plierons le tronc avec précaution et nous le fixerons avec la corde, à partir de là, nous pouvons augmenter progressivement la tension de la corde, chaque jour un peu plus, jusqu’à obtenir la position souhaitée. Soyez attentif à la réaction de la plante, essayez de ne pas appliquer trop de pression sur la corde et rappelez-vous que la flexibilité des branches peut varier d’une plante à l’autre. Pour obtenir de meilleurs résultats, il suffit de suivre quelques règles simples. Pour commencer, nous devons choisir une corde fine mais pas trop pour ne pas blesser les troncs au fur et à mesure qu’ils grandissent et qu’ils deviennent plus gros. Nous pouvons utiliser des crochets en plastique souple ou de n’importe quelle autre matière flexible pour éviter d’endommager les plantes. Spécialement en intérieur, utiliser des cordons en plastique de couleur (voir les diaries de @Silky) est très pratique pour voir facilement les accroches et faciliter le travail au milieu du réseau formés par les cordes, les tuteurs, les mailles ou les supports que nous aurons dans la culture. Bien entendu, en culture extérieure et surtout en guerilla nous ferons juste le contraire et nous utiliserons des matériaux de couleur qui n’attirent pas l’attention pour que notre jardin reste discret. Pour stresser les plantes au minimum, la mieux est de réaliser ces manipulations le soir ou juste après que les lampes en intérieur s’éteignent, ce qui leur permettra de se remettre durant la nuit. Normalement, le jour suivant nous pourrons observer comme les pointes des branches que nous avons pliées se dressent de nouveau vers le haut à la recherche d’une source de lumière. Hi all . This will be the last week of these girls now . They’ve both been flushing with RO water and I will continue that a couple more days before harvest . They are certainly ready and cannot wait to have the final result dryed and tasted . The smells from these girls is unreal . They have a strong fruity smell and are sticky as hell . It’s going to be messy when harvesting !. Couple more days flushing and I’ll give them the chop and hang to dry . I’ll update with a harvest once that’s done . Hi Gromie's & a Happy New Year to all in advance👍 A BIG shout out & thanks to Fast Buds as I just received my prize for November diary of the month competition. Great customer service in both my dealings with fast buds their products have arrived on day 13 to 14 through air freight & customs to Oz! The girls are going great buds really stacking on size, smell getting very strong, super sticky. Gave them a good defoliation last night removing all the bigger shade leaves covering bud sites & touching. They were quite bushy & needed it , lolliepoped any sucker buds all the smaller secondary side shoots I've removed everything except top buds so to they get all the energy. Some trichomes all ready going cloudy & a couple of amber's as well. Since I'm only using 1 side of the new 4x8 at the moment, I've hung some myar sheet up in th e middle to stop light loss to the other side & shin back onto plants.👍

So this plant is phenomenal with her recovery abilities. At this point, she recovered from her previous topping only 7 days ago, and grown the final 2 inches I was waiting for. As of 4/26, she is now on 12/12. Additional nutrients will be added to her for her flower period. Time-lapse again had an error, this time, I swear, it was not me. Looks like the camera and server stopped communicating until both were restarted. So as a reference, this plant is now 10 weeks from seed. She has been topped 3 times for a total of 8 crowns. I expect harvest to be approximately 10 weeks from now. But we all know how far expectations can take us.

D36. We started the sixth week of veg, and the girls are rocking it in the tent. Today, I moved the humidifier to the front and installed the scrog net. I'll let the girls fill the net before flipping them into flowers. I gave each girl 2 liters of water @ pH 6.4, with 10ml/liter homemade bokashi juice. ------------------------------ D38. I gave each girl 2-5-liters of water @ pH 6.4, with 10ml of humic acid. ------------------------------ D39. The girls are slowly filling in the scrog. I'll leave them for another few days and then flip at the start of next week. Removed a few leaves below the scrog. (I like to defoliate as I go along.) I moved the mushroom kit over to the side of the tent. No shrooms yet, but it will be more out of the way there. ------------------------------ D40. Brewed a simple compost tea (worm castings, rock dust, molasses) and gave each girl 2 liters @ pH 6.4. These ladies don't like too much light during veg, and I'm seeing taco leaves toward the end of the day, indicating that they have had enough. I will slightly drop the DLI tomorrow and see how they respond. ------------------------------ D42. The last day in the sixth and final week of veg. The girls are looking great! The scrog is a bit empty in the middle of the second girl, but I'm hoping some lower branches will fill those holes in the coming days. Healthy and vibrant, and they are ready to move on. I flipped the lights to the flower-inducing program after the girls went to sleep to give them a fresh start when waking up. The clones I took last week have rooted, and I'll transplant them into 1-liter pots tomorrow. I hooked up a drip watering system as I'll be traveling soon, and I want enough time to dial it in correctly before leaving. Finally, I gave the girls a fulvic acid foliar spray. One of their last foliar sprays as we're heading into flower. ------------------------------
