High GD community, Week 12, Haze doing very good. Her sativa genes push her to grow big. But the stems are a bit thin. Hst and LST will help those branches get more solid. Welcome back all, following a week that has been a fairly straight forward seven days or so in Fat Yappa's Garden, as the older Bruce Banners reach day 51, day 44 for the runt of the sisters, planted on the same day but that took a week longer to germinate, and day 42 for the two Wedding Cheesecake's, one growing in Coco Coir, the other in the same living soil as her Bruce Banner Fastbuds cousins. The week began with last weeks humidity issues brought well and truly into hand with the addition of the new 20L dehumidifier from Meaco, specifically designed for the UK weather. However a shift in the aforementioned from the falls dawn of an early spring, to a return to more usual climate conditions for this time of year through things off kilter once again. Despite pulling around 6L of water out the air a day, she was struggling to keep the RH down to around 50% with my central heating returned to its usual position of 18c, but an increase to 20c has taken things back in line, and the humidity has returned to the mid 40's I was aiming for. Humidity concerns during this off period however, and a subsequent inspection below the top layer of the canopy, which resulted in the discovery of quite a lot of whitish, moist growth, prompted a mass defoliation, mostly of the Bruce Banners. I had been performing very light defoliation up until this point, only removing dead/almost dead leaves, and very select leaves from the top of the canopy that were blocking what looked like bud sites, but the lack of light and air getting through past the top layer, together with the fact that now bud sites are far clearer to a novice such as I, lead me to the conclusion that the time was right. Besides the runt, all these plants have not even skipped a beat. The runt has been a bit droopier in her leaves than the others all in all, but I have looked in on them and seen her with leaves pointing up and praying a few times since so I trust all is well. Following the defoliaton on day 47, the plants stuck to their two day watering schedule, but di threatened to need an increase to daily, as day 50 saw waterings a mere 24hrs after the previous day, but feeling the weight of the pots yesterday I elected to wait til 48 hours to water again. The water amounts per plant has also become more erratic than previously, so I have been watering more carefully. Other than that the week has been pretty much plain sailing, and what look like to be some big looking flowers coming up all over the canopy, as all bar the Wedding Cheesecake in living soil are now fully in flower, but she will be there by next week. The Bruce banner I accidentally snapped the top off from the second node down doing LST a few weeks ago seems to be about half a week ahead of the other two of the same age, and trichomes have began to appear on the leaves around the buds. The biggest plant in the tent is still the wedding Cheesecake in Coco coir, as she now stand a metre tall and her top is the same level as the light now. Her size is a concern because it has caused me to neglect her in favour of the other plants, certainly in terms of light, but she doesn't seem to have any more bud sites than the other plants, and for the time being at least, her older cousins are leaving her to shame in this department, but she still has a week to catch up. Lastly, day 39 saw another compost tea feeding, the same recipe as last time. Happy growing everyone, and I will catch you all again next week.

Week 9 is begonnen en ze gaat onverstoord verder.( ik maak een telfout 🤦‍♂️🏽 eigenlijk begint week 9 over 2 dagen 😆) Prachtige kleuren bladeren en de toppen worden dikker en dikker. Ze is eigenlijk te groot voor de tent, de hoofdtop staat 15 cm van de lamp verwijderd. Veel te dichtbij eigenlijk. Heb niet al te veel bladeren weggeknipt (defoliation). Minimaal. Ze drinkt wel zeer veel. Bijna anderhalf liter per dag. Laten we kijken hoe zij zich deze week weet te ontwikkelen. 🧐 Ik zal gedurende de week nog verse foto's updaten, dus hou het in de gaten. The Sensi Seeds Research breeding project has created eleven cannabis seed varieties. How? By combining new cannabis cultivars with a selection of strains from their long-established cannabis gene bank. For the first time in thirty-six years, they are opening the doors of the Sensi Seeds Research and Development Department. Week #6 Transplanted the plants into their final pots (18l). Last week feeding was a bit too light, some plants started to move their Nitrogen, their bottom leaves turned light green/ slightly yellow. But the problem has been solved in 3 days after transplanting and watering with some nootz. Adding some more light. The Mars-Hydro SP250 has done an excellent job on its own during 5 weeks but it’s time to give some more light coverage to grow bigger plants, by switching on an MH light under a wing reflector. Using Cellmax Product-X* into their BIO Soil with some BIO 8-2-2 and some RootBooster makes this crop a 100% bio organic growth. *Using 0.7gr / plants in the transplanting hole in contact with the roots (and not 1ml/1l). (I’m looking for a job in the Cannabis industry as Master Grower, Mineralogist, Quality Control)

They grew really bushy because the light was too intense. Topped them to get more light to the side branches

Hello Diary. The third week of flowering is over, what I would comment on first this week is the scent. Fat Banana began to spread a wonderful fruity scent, like some fruity candy. 😋 So far on my small farm no strain has smelled like this at this stage of flowering. The plant is full of flowers and as you can see in the photos, they fill up nicely. 👍 Brownish spots have started to appear on some leaves, I will monitor the development and try to detect what the cause is. 😯 Watering is standard, I water the plants about every three days. Preventively for now I add CalMg and every other time I add BioBizz. I am preparing about 7 lit. water with which I water all three plants evenly. Here’s what he looked like all week. 02/11/2020 - Day 39. Watering. I added BioBizz and preventive CalMg. p.H. I adjusted to 6.5 with Plagron’s Lemon Kick. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 26.7 degrees and 42% humidity. 05/11/2020 - Day 42. Photographing and watering. This time I just regulated p.H. at 6.4 and I didn’t add anything else. Fat Banana really looks beautiful so I also took photos on a black background. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.6 degrees and 41% humidity. That’s all for this week, see you soon.

With the new netting up, I switched on the red lights along with the blues to help the plants stretch a bit to reach through the screen. It looks like it is taking effect, so late in the week (Friday) I trimmed some of the lower branches. Last week I FIMmed Zoe and Grace to give River a chance to catch up, and I expected 1 of 2 results: 1) FiMming will encourage growth in the cut plants causing them to grow taler than River, or 2) Things will stabilize and River will be on par with her siblings. But instead, I discovered a 3rd result: River is continuing to grow bigger and thicker each day and is even taller and fuller than her sisters. In addition though, the trimmed plants are developing nice, strong, sizable leaves, and most of the new growth is coming from down below, rather than near the top. Oh, and this week I added a new camera (Wyze) to the time lapses so I can take my pro camera out.

Things are looking very nice! I’ve top dressed and defoliated here and there. Lots of frost coming in as things are starting to stack and take shape.

This week i split the stem on my purple lemonade auto to see if it gets bigger yield and bigger buds i will soon see the purple only has about three weeks to go the gorilla glue auto has along way to go but its flowering hard and fast

So she look good for now even with low humidity 😄 i try to spray water as often as possible and i can get around 45% humidity. I hope low humidity wont make her grow too slow

The flush week! Seemed ok - def had nitrogen toxicity in one purple berry kush - maybe too much ripener before. But we’re here - will give them the 24 now and chop. We’re out of time on this run. 90^% of the crop are where I want them to be however I thought I would have more droopy leaves. Will do the harvests on Monday anyways. Have a great week. Just water as they are very small , light is a 100w Samsung led light for the first week then I will switch to the Zeus 465w Compact pro. I have repotted the plants now the seeds have popped, they are in 2 litre pots now. As soon as the toots hot the bottom of the pots I will put them in my autopots system. I have tried adding a layer of perlite on top of the bAc soil. To try and stop any bugs getting into my soil and also reflect the light back.
